It´s funny that people still call Alex slow, even with the fact he was tested the second fastest player at PSV( Beasley, that fast North American winger was the first), and with quotes of non biased Brazilians fans as Cocu, Hiddink, Paul Elliott talking about his speed.

Now, for me(Carlo and Braida) thats really bad news

What I noticed is quite weird when I saw several times Cech this year: I always said that Dida looked like he was lost on the pitch the last years (still nowadays, he seems somewhere else when he plays).
The same thing seems to happen to Cech since this horrible mistake in Euro. He seems sometimes totally lost, it looks like his defenders don't listen to him anymore in Chelsea, and it looks like that happens more and more often. I hope for him he will manage to come back in good shape quickly ... but it doesn't look like it's going to happen soon.

Sad to see such good goalkeepers being so ridiculous in some games ...

Yep, I feel sorry for them...Dida since his back problems(remember he hurt himself badly sitting on the bench last season)never was the same.

Maybe Cech head injure have also a part on his horrible display...

Hiddink is a hell of a coach, and MAYBE he is the best in the world nowadays. He is a kind of magician ... PSV had good players, but he gave them a tactical approach who transformed this team in an amazing opponent (remember this semi-final !!). Since he left, this PSV team is back at his usual level (good team, nothing extraordinary anyway). Same for South Korea, they were bad, he transformed them into a good team, now they are just decent without him.

Alex always was a hell of a defender. Anyway, I know him since he plays in PSV (not before), and he is a monster, a young monster. The problem is that by going to PSV, he was sure to end in Chelsea and not in Milan for example even with the rumours that linked us with him, just because PSV has an agreement with Chelsea ... Since he is a starter, I don't think he'll leave soon, unfortunately.

I'd say that his worst period was between the incident against Inter in CL and his "injury" (I mean, what an actor !!) against Celtic which leaded Ancelotti to use Kalac.
Before Inter, he was amazing.
Nowadays, he seems decent, not bad, not outstanding. A good second goalkeeper ... if we don't look at his wage.

Italian media is now linking us with Giampaolo Pazzini. I read that he is an alternative, if we couldn't buy Adebayor. I think Pazzini is an excellent striker, he's young and Italian.

Gila took his place in Fiorentina and yet we want to buy him? LOL

It's much better to bring back Paloschi as we have Boriello who is in same level with Pazzini and also similar height. Or buy Rossi if we want to add italian blood to our team and Pato can be the main striker supported by Rossi.

I just checked Milan website, Boriello is only 180 cm there. Last time I know, he is 182 cm.

You´re right(one more time), I forgot that incident against Inter...That was the turn point.

At least he chose the football and not the Theaters

The last time I checked Pazzini took Gila's spot in Italian NT. And Pazzini is playin excellent since he joined Sampdoria.

The money that paid Santos didn´t come from PSV, but from Chelsea(thats the reason Chelsea "bought" Alex for 1 Euro...so at the day that he ended in Eidhoven, I new it will be hard to buy him. But Mourinho(at that time) didn´t like Alex, so I keep my hopes...

Indeed, I saw Alex saying in a interview that only a few teams talked directly with him: Chelsea, Milan and Real Madrid(in Capello era) but that Milan step back after Chelsea start a "bid war"...

Glad we learned the lesson and fight for Pato against them...

As I always said(and we saw in Pato´s case), no team can compete with Milan in Brazilian market...

Pazzini seems to be doing so well because of his linkup with Cassano. It just seems like one of those partnerships, like Messi/Alves...
