Somehow i sadly feel that this time there is some truth in this........more so because of this came just after carlo declared that he will stay with milan. May be Kaka really wanted carlo to leave and milan to go for a new coach who gave more importance to youth........

The cause you found to this new made up story by Marca/AS is not correct as Kaka' always said he wanted Carlo to stay ...

Carlo has a very good rapport with his players, even with the ones who don't play often actually, as he never was criticized by any of them (how many players leaving their club criticize their former coach then ? That often happens ... but I have no example for Carlo).

He also never bash his players and former players (or almost, there I have an example: Vikash Dhorasso but all his former coaches bashed him ).

For Gourcuff, I don't believe too much what I read nowadays on Goal.com and Italian websites as their source is L'Equipe, a French newspaper. L'Equipe was a very serious newspaper some years ago, but nowadays they want "sensationnal" news, a bit like the Spanish Marca ...

And I can't find the interview on French websites, it's why for moment, I doubt.

If it's true, then, it's perfect, if Gourcuff wants to return, it's all good for us.

Carlo says he'll stay with Milan almost every day Also AS or Marca have at least one story of Kaka' having signed with Real Madrid' every week.

So does anyone else think that we need to go for Carlos Tevez, now that his deal at Man Utd is expiring? He would be a great addition to the team, and would probably fit in well at Milan. And even better - we wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee.

We would have to pay a transfer fee ... not to MU but to the firm that owns the player.

Ferguson said few days ago that they are negotiating to keep him.

This transfer season should signal our intent for the future. If we continue to hang on to the golden oldies in our squad, well, we can kiss being a premier European team goodbye. The core of the team needs to change. We gotta let go of some of the players like Seedorf, Inzaghi, Favalli et. al. How long will we keep depending on the class of 2003-2007 to get us silverware. We gotta bring in new young blood, whether its through the youth system or transfer market. We have to change our thinking. The current squad at its core will struggle to get out of Champions League group stages. Who in this forum can honestly equate us with Barca and Manyoo? And now Carlo wants to get rid of Dinho? Guys we can't compete with the best in Europe in our current makeup. And now that we will be in Europe next season - I have a feeling that will be our main priority - we will suffer miserably. All I'm saying there needs to be a drastic change in the makeup of the squad or it will take us 3-5 years to become the world beaters we were a few years back.

why do we need an overrated tevez who has 3 goals in epl all season..

btw,dzeko scores another hattrick..there is the player to partner pato..now please dont say he has not proved in a bigger league..

its just a matter of time an epl club will pick him and then such strikers will never be bought as their price will hike to an extent where we would never have a possibility considering our finances...

If Grafite was 3-4 years younger, I wouldn't mind if we were to take both Dzeko and Grafite ... but in reality, he isn't 3-4 years younger and so only Dzeko seems to be a good addition to our team.

He is big fan of AC Milan, and one of his favourite players is our Sheva, but I think there aren't any chances that we'll buy him...maybe in 10 years, when he reach 30

Watching Udinese - Milan, I see that Milan is not capable of playing high pressure defensively...and there's to much gap between the lines.

Altough I think Milan has better players than Man Utd, The English are capable of putting pressure and keeping the high tempo throughout the entire game.

No offense, buddy, but how did you figure this Milan team has better players than Man Utd? We have one, maybe two positions in which we might have better player than Man Utd in CAM and CDM, and that's about it. They kick our ass in talent level in every other position.

Van der Sar and Abbiatti are probably playing at the same level, but Man U have so much depth behind Van der Sar.
Our defensive line can't even kiss the boots of Evra-Ferdinand-Vidic-Rafael;
Our central midfield might have an advantage over Anderson-Carrick, but our wing can't be compared to C Ronaldo and Park/Giggs with their talent and work rate;
Man U have three world class strikers in Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov combined with young uprising stars in Macheda and Welback. We, on the other hand, have nobody to play with Pato and have to relay on a 37 year old Pippo to score.

It's always good to support our team, but we as fans can no longer be blinded by our love for the team and ignore reality. This team lacks the talent level necessary to compete with the best in Europe and therefore needs to spend some serious cash to acquire it.

This same team minus Pato and Zambro destroyed that Man U team minus Berbatov just 2 summers ago in the CL at San Siro.

Individually, we may not be more talented, but collectively, we stack up just fine.

The bolded part I think is the key phrase in your post. 2 years of no activity and missed transfers is a long time. Our team has been getting crappier and crappier. If we go by the standards you mentioned, then we can easily also say that this same team got outclassed by Arsenal as well just a summer ago yet we didn't change much, or anything.

Our players are getting older, slower and less motivated. They struggle week in week out and the second position on the table is very fooling. Normally we should be somewhat positive with a 2nd position. After all you can't be first every year but the football we have played for the past couple of years has been way off the standard of a top European club. Even the year we won the CL (2007) we only played well in the CL itself while we were completely unconvincing in the league. It is obvious that this group of players is not what it was as you state '2 summers ago' and what's even more clear is that we don't even 'stack up just fine collectively' anymore either.

It's just my opinion. I am a very reasonable person that has given many of these players a lot of chances and have supported them and Carlo. I rarely (almost never) criticize or single out players and bash them in here.........but what's clear is clear and there comes a time where patience runs out. This team can't function the way it is anymore and changes must be made.

The important thing that we need to figure out right now is whether or not a coaching change only will do the trick. Will the changing of the key figure (the coach) change the attitude of the players or will we be stuck with these embarrassing showings even with a new coach. What I'm saying is...do we need a complete overhaul and change of around 4/5 starting players, or will the changing of only 1/2 individuals in the line up + a new coach do the trick. The colors of this great club don't deserve the heartless showings that we have to witness week in week out with the latest one being just today against Udinese.

Just back to the striker talk. What about Marc Janko from Salzburg, we've been linked with him before if I remember correctly. He's scored a crazy amount of goals, about 1 goal/match. I know alot of people would dismiss him because he's done it in a relativly weak league, but check out this video of his goals: youtube.com There's obviously alot of tapins, but some of the goals are pretty damn crazy. His first touch is absolutly insane, check out the third goal in the video for eksample, but loads of others in the video. Imagine if he could link up with Pirlo, like Pirlo does with Luca Toni for the Azurri. This guy LOOKS much better at controlling the ball than Toni, so could become quite the goal machine.

I don't watch the Austrian league at all though, so I might not know the whole story about Marc Janko. Maybe someone knows more?? One thing though, I don't think we should dismiss Janko cause he's playing in the league he is. Everybody starts somewhere, Shevchenko started in Dynamo Kiev, although a bigger club than Salzburg at the time, yet he still become our second highest goalscorer ever.
