If the right club is Genoa, so Genoa will have Acquafresca and probably Crespo, and maybe Deco.

yoan wants to stay in France. At least greedy people in Milan can get 15mln from him so they can spend 5... Instead of calling him on the phone every day and begging that kind of a player to come back, we act like morons and our coach doesnt ONCE call the player we loan out. And Galliani puts clause, bravo.

if Yoan leaves it will be a real shame and completely idiotic move by the famous double Galliani-Ancelotti.

Leonardo as our new coach would probably be one of the worst ideas ever. It's not that I don't trust his capability as a coach, but he is our only useful scout. Over the years, he has scouted well and negotiated even better to bring us the only good signings we have had. And yet, we want to take him away from the job he is best at to put him in a position that he has no experience with. To make things even worse is that we don't even have anyone that can possibly replace him in his old position. As miserable as our mercatos over the last few years have been, taking Leonardo away will only make our mercato even worse in the future. I hope the airheads in hte upper management see that and realize what a big mistake that is.

I thought the exact same, what players did we buy in the last four years? Oldies and young brazilian players, the oldies were for free and nobody wanted them but Leo got us Kaka for peanuts while chelsea and other were on his tail I even read that it was becoz of Leo he came to us. Pato case was similar since diffrent teams wanted him, (although he wasn't cheap), Silva etc.

Maybe we can rely on Ba, he is due to do something good

I'm a bit mixed about the News of Leonardo. Ive heard rumours that he hasnt yet got his coaching badges so I wonder how thats going to work.

One thing for sure, Leonardo is a seriously Intelligent person. He speaks like 8 languages and I heard he was studying degrees while he was playing football. I dont doubt his technical knowledge of the game, but more his experience.

If Leo is our manager we would have a manager who is on par with Mourinho with the psychology but without the mind games.

Nahhhh...Galliani&Co just need to read more the "Kaká´s father..." thread if they want to know the right players to buy in Brazil!! The record speak for itself...

They are very reliable when the subject isn´t politics nor the candidate is from the Left. So, if not out of this world happens, I bet it´t true. Leonardo is our new coach.

So if you read my last post I think in the Gourcuff topic + what he announced, it's now 99% sure he won't come back.

Yeah, all news and the result and things that happened were negative this Sunday ... like you say, probably one of the worst if not the worst day as a Milan fan.

Regarding Gourcuff, it´s early to believe it is his real intention. If I was him, I would have said the same thing, since the way he left Milan. A little love from the new coach(or from Carlo) and theres no way he snub Milan(IMO).

The Maldini thing is a shame, but it´s good to show the real face of the Ultras. I realy want to see the face of people(some from MM) that think this guys are the real Milan fans...

Imo the defeat will do wonders for our future. If Berlusconi don´t wake up now(and give Carlo or Leonardo quality players), I have no more hope...

Well, after having an outstanding season that resulted in lots of awards and (obviously) being the main catalyst in Bordeaux winning the league title as well as qualifying for the CL, and coupled with our horror show today, I wouldn't want to come back to Milan either.

If the reports are true, he's doing the right thing by staying. He's the main man over there right now.

I respectfully disagree here. Over the years, the lessons of bad players=bad results have been taught to us many many times. And yet, Berlusconi never learned that lesson because his desire is to use the smallest amount of money to achieve the greatest results. Between glory and money, he always choose the second one nowadays. That means, without securing the CL qualification, we won't have any money whatsoever to spend on the market.

With all our competitors signing numerous good players, we are already lagging behind. If we continue to wait, then we will be picking up leftovers again rather than signing the WC players we need. If, for God's sakes, we miss out the 3rd place and end up having to play qualifcation stages of the CL, then we won't be signing crap until we qualify like what happened in 2006. And we all know how that mercato worked out for us. That is why I think this loss was absolutely awful for us, especially since it was also Maldini's last home game.

As far as Gourcuff is concerned, did he actually say he has decided to stay or just he would like to stay in Bordeaux? To me, it is kind of pointless for him to stay there after achieving everything possible in France. I mean, what else does he have to prove? That he can win a championship playing 1 against 11? He is at the right age to move abroad and he must be thinking about joining a superpower after the season he's had. So, I guess he probably just said what he said as a courtesy to the team that revived his career rather than his final decision.
