Carlo Ancellotti: 'YES' or 'NO' ?

Good post. Im not sure about Leonardo and not keen on MVB because he is proven to be mediocre. Rijkaard would be awesome.

I just dont see us going anywhere with these tactics.

Carlo used fullbacks in his system to great effect. Now we dont have any attacking players who can run with the ball except Pato and Kaka. He doesnt rotate the players enough causing three major issues 1. Tiredness 2. lack of competetion 3. No freedom to play with freedom due to the risk of being frozen out.

There is no telling what a new manager will add or take away. One thing is for sure, its hard to swallow inter winnign the scudetto year after year, but I sure as hell cant tolerate Milan pretending everything is ok at the same time.

Good post. I don't agree with the comment about the tactics. I think they are fine, but that the players within them are causing it to lose functionality.

Like you say, we don't have any attacking players who can run with the ball. I think we need an attacking midfielder who can play in the midfield three.

The tiredness you mention has been an issue for sometime. Unfortunately, we cannot play twice a week. The squad is too old to maintain a consistency of performance when playing that often.

I don't think any players can play great by playing twice a week for the whole season.

I think the tactics is fine, as long as we have the right players and options.

Having Pirlo as DM, Seedorf, Favalli, Dida, Kalac, Kaladze, Senderous, Sheva and even Janku as LB are problems that need to be solve. NOw I am not saying Pirlo is not good enough anymore but he cannot be effective as his position, he needs to play higher up the field.

The other thing is that we lack options when the game is at a stallmate. We had that with Rui Costa, Serginho and even JDT before, but who do we have now?

I agree with this one ad the last few days, Rijkaard seems to me as the best option.

In all honesty, Carlo's epitaph was pretty much written after yesterday, and it probably won't matter what happens in the Fiorentina match.

If we hire MVB, say hello to a long season next year.

The only way we're gonna hire MVB is if Berlusconi starts doing his thing... I've said it before, there's no way Galliani would hire MVB..

Can you give posts of "everyone" saying it's cool for Carlo to stay after the recent winning streak?

Then some players can also sit and think about their place in first 11 as well.

Carlo probably going, rumours about Kaka' leaving more and more important (declarations of both Kaka' and Berlusconi are not very encouraging), Maldini surely retiring (I still hope for a last year, the last of the last just to **** these ultras), it looks like a lot of things are going to change next year ?!

About Carlo, the deal was "Top 3 or ciao" ... for moment ... nothing is secured.
Anyway, we're almost sure he will leave now. The only problem is that it looks like everything has gone in the wrong way for our end of season because it's like there is no more happinness in this team, no joy to play for the players and no joy to coach for Carlo. It's a kind of crisis ...
