it looks like ancelotti wants to stay..and if milan force him out we'll have to compensate for that..so i guess milan are secretly trying to make him accept the chelski offer and part away with mutual consent..

Not really; it instead looks like the result of too much Football Manager. The bolded part is particuarly laughable.

Sorry, I'm perfectly straight, thank you very much. And I'd like to know why it's so horrible that I am a Dida fan, which I have been for many years.

(Mods, apologies for the double post.)

I think all these CR7 talks came from the CL final.

TO be honest, if Berlu is serious about making an impact signings, CR7 is the one.

But we must convert him into a striker or else there is no point having him in the att mid with Kaka and Dinho.

Selling Dinho and having Ronaldo and Pato as strikers with Kaka behind them would be awsome.

Sure, but selling Dinho in hopes of getting CRonaldo is unrealistic at best. The former's value has dipped considerably in recent years, while we'd have to pay to the moon for the latter. That is, if Man U is foolish enough to engage in such a transaction, which they aren't.

I'm pretty sure Cronaldo doesn't like to play as a forward and the only reason he plays there a lot (besides his good finishing) is that he doesn't defend like Rooney, Tevez, Park etc.

If Berlusconi wants to spend big money again, I'm ecstatic, but please don't buy an overpriced player that we don't really need. Buy a centre back and a full back, not a player who is and wants to be a winger/wing forward.

Also I'm not sure how I feel about saying goodbye to a perfect gentleman and idol like Maldini and at the same time saying hello to pretty much the opposite in Cronaldo.

Silvio, if you wanna spend crazy money on a player that doesn't really fit our system, please buy Messi

Milan have been linked with a move for Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien in a deal which would see Andrea Pirlo move in the other direction, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.

The report suggests current coach Carlo Ancelotti will take the Italian midfielder to Chelsea at the end of the season if he joins the club, which, according to Italian press, looks likely to happen. Neither club have made an official announcement on that, but there is widespread belief that Pirlo will follow the Italian to Stamford Bridge.

Milan are preparing themselves for the possible change and they will attempt to swap Pirlo for Chelsea's Ghana international. Leonardo is being tipped to take the reins at Milanello, and voices suggest the Brazilian is keen on Essien who would be comfortable playing in any position around the middle of the park. In addition, the Chelsea man can play in front of the defence, giving the team extra options tactically.

The Rossoneri are expected to make an official announcement regarding Ancelotti's future on Monday, where they will have a clearer idea of possible transfer movements for the summer.

Now this would be some serious ****,of course if this was true and actually happens.

Actually thats not a bad idea from Chelsea.
First off, they are giving what Carlo's want, Pirlo and Seedorf.
Secondly, they are sending one of JM's fav player Essien to his direct rival.

It makes sense in some crazy ways.

not been here in years and I've lost touch of what's flying about.

however, if Leonardo is to be our new coach expect most of the signings to come from south america as he headed up scouting over there.

I could think of 1000 better ways to spent 80M euros. And swapping Pirlo and Seedorf for Essien?? Really I like Essien, he's versatile, but he's still no playmaker, it's still important not to have many replicas, and Essien isn't that much different from Flamini, Gattuso and Ambrosini.
