Any team in the world would be happy to sign Ancelotti! He got signed to another top club IN ONE DAY after he was made available with 2 top clubs showing interest! He is a top coach, and hopefully this stupid mistake we made won't come back to haunt us next season.
This is exactly what someone could have said to Carlo about Gourcuff

Right... Every single Milan player cried and cried when the news of his departure was there because of Ancelotti's commitment and the result of his commitment which led to 8 years of unforgetable football in the most beautiful football club in the world done with such grace and humility that all of the world accepted and spoke of him as a master tactician with brilliance only few possess.

And in the moment he is gone by mutual consent we cannot cry and we cannot think back with joy as the Milan hearts we are? We cannot live and dream with the beautiful memories he gave us and think: wow, it's finally over and shed a tear for what was there?

No? We cannot feel love for Ancelotti? Boy, your comment there and the rest of the comments against Carlo and the ungrateful things we can read here on this forum makes me think of how wrong it is to even get close to display this lack of humility and decent behaviour which should instead be shown, towards Ancelotti, Milan, Milan's fans and the rest of the football world.

Get it right, people.

Oh man, I talk about difference between Chelsea and Milan this year and he talks about serie a games where we loose points vs Reggina, Doria, Lecce, Torino etc. And thinks its normal to say such things and to compare them.

Its enough. We had better team then we had results, I think Carlo didnt create 100% out of these players. That is my oppinion. Simply said. Noone will demolish anything if coach leaves after 8 years in the club. Things like that are NORMAL in ALL the clubs in Europe except United. Barca saw Rijkaard's team needs refreshment and they simply did it. Milan also needs it. Is Leo the right man I dont know and you cant say that he is a "downgrade" to Carletto as he may be a good coach as he is scout.

Geo I consider him to be subjective in some of his individual choices in Milan's lineup. That is what I think, it doesnt matter if it sounds nice or not. Some agree, some dont, it doesnt matter. Im not a priest I dont have to love everyone to be nice and feel well. Im happy he is gone and atleast I always told you I want him out. I was fair and never changed my mind about wanting new coach in Milan. He managed players well and was loved by his players. But he couldnt let go of some players and couldnt stay professional in more then one ocasion when it comes to picking the people who'll play. Its the end of a circle, those things are normal. I dont see how Carlo would be able to sell Seedorf and bench Pirlo etc. He'd never do it, its healthy he went away.

forza Milan and good luck to Leonardo!

One big fear I have is that now there is a chance that the 6+5 rule will start to affect Milan as well; since Leo will undoubtedly hire more Brazilians.

In any case, the most refreshing thought was that he prefers attacking full backs. Lets hope that's the case as we desperately need that dynamism and verve.

As long as those Brazilians are great players, I really don't mind. though I would prefer a more "Italianized" squad, but winning comes first to me.

Also, is that "6+5" for real? Will it get passed the EU? People keep talking about it these days, but all I know that is for sure is that UEFA has some rule of having 2 (or 4 or 6) homegrown players in the squad, but they don't have to the ones that play on the pitch.

I think the club and Leonardo are aware about that rule and that they are not stupid to the point of bying only Brazilian/South American/Non-Italian players ... I don't worry too much about that, I don't remember when this rule will become official, but even if we buy 3 Brazilian players this summer, that will just mean that we will buy 3-4 Italian players then ... a good way to (have to) rejuvenate (difficult word lol) the team sooner or later.

The 6+5 rule is tricky as it is a direct violation to the European Union.
It will be interesting to see what happens beside I am sure by the time of the 6+5 rule, Kaka, and Pato will be Italian citizens by then. Come to think of it, Kaka already qualify as an IT citizen.

No one is saying we're gonna hire Brazilian players. He hasn't said that nor indicated it. He is saying he wants to play a la Brazil NT 1982. That he wants to play good football.

We'll see.

I am an old-school and nostalgic person and I have mixed feeling towards Ancelotti, but he is gone, so he is gone. This is a HUGE time for change, and it is the least to say that we don't change now, we won't change forever. I am not a drastic revolutionist that calls for revoking all the 30+ players' contracts, but if we were to keep buying Nedved, RvN, Ronaldo or even Toni, I would want to poke my own eyes out. It is time to CHANGE. I appreciate all players in R&B, but I just don't think I could take another Emerson - he doesn't even have a Milan heart!

I don't know Leonardo as a coach, as I haven't seen one single match that he coached (am I the only one? ), but I am hoping that he will pull a Guardiola rather than Klinsmann. either way, he has my full support as he does have a Milan heart.

Rico, you're video is Depeche Mode - Precious lol.

Anyway, I think we're thinking along the same lines. I figured it was an appropriate time to dig out a couple of videos of our new coach's playing days...

Amazing goal during his time in Japan...

I heard they wil poor it in the rules of the competitions if you want to participate you must follow that rule.
This way teams can buy whoever they want aslong as the 6+5 players are fielded.
I don't oppose such a rule to be honest

They talk about this rule every year and nothing happens, there are teams which cannot cope with this kind of rule like Inter, Arsenal so this rule won't be implemented in near future if ever will be, because it goes against eu laws.
