i still think kaka's not leaving, but selling kaka wouldn't necessary be that bad. he has been pretty inconsistent for the past few years......... i mean he's my fav player and all but i don't think its going to be the end of the world (it will be if we dont get a replacement though)

Is he pulling another one like back in January with Man City? If so: It's not funny anymore, Silvio! ...in fact it never was.

The Kaká of the last two season shouldn't be impossible to survive without, yet he's important for the team and the club on more levels than one. On form he can lift the team like none of our other players can, and as a result he has a tremendous presence on the pitch - even if that seems to hinder the team when Kaká isn't on form. Also he's one of the most likeable characters in football today and a massive symbol for Milan, esp. in the "post-Maldini era" (oh man, it hurt to write that...). Finally selling him would mean Milan takes a step down in the hierarchy of clubs, and Serie A likewise in the hierarchy of leagues.

So what I'm trying to say is, that on a purely performance basis we should be able to replace Kaká (based on our mercatos in recent years we probably won't, but a club like Milan SHOULD be able to do that), but for other reasons, sporting and symbolic, selling him would be nothing but a disaster.

Of course I still want to believe Berlu is just messing with our heads.

I abosolutly agree. Hearing reports like this that Real Madrid are offering two of Robben, Sneijder, Marcelo, Gago etc. for Kaka, makes it sound like we could be making quite a deal. But his presence and his symbolism makes me want him to stay, despite the fact that we could potentially be stronger if the deal was like that.

Sneijder, Marcelo plus some cash and i'll be happy....by the way has anybody seen videos of hernanes?....he reminds me of kaka' although it is brasil fact is we have to find some way r80 to play that's like silvio's mission i want seedorf and pirlo both gone....for some reason kaka says he cant play with r80 he says he runs to fast ahead of him....hernanes or essien can play the "BRAIN" so to speak personally its ridiculous this whole ordeal kaka's dad in a van wtf? was he's making a dope deal?....silvio said he'll sort it out by monday trust me it's la marca is the biggest load of b.s. in the world.....remember midseason?....how did madrid know they can pull off a deal with kaka already saying no to man city also perez will not...make his fifa madrid why?....contracts are complex RIBERY is 100 million CR7 80 million then backtracked this is one hell of a mickey mouse club....either way la liga is the most predictable league in the world...hey guess whose gona win la liga?....barca or madrid lol....

I think a lot of us need to relax a bit about this whole thing. Media should not be trusted in this because they already reported about five or six times in the last couple of years that Kaka has already signed with whichever team and yet the man is still wearing the Milan jersey even as we speak. Even if Kaka really will move on this time, we should not be too upset as we should have seen this one coming all along. Make no mistake about it, this management didn't just receive major offers they couldn't turn down, they invited those offers as well! They have been wanting to sell him so the flunkies in the club can stay and they can pocket some serious cash from the sale. They are truly and utterly disgusting nowadays with the way they handle the club.

As many of us have said, this whole thing is being used as a cover up for the incompetencies of the management in the mercato. Ever since this Kaka rumor got started again, there hasn't been any news about us bringing in reinforcements to the club like it did a couple of weeks ago. Even in the forum itself, we have been using the last 15 pages or so of this thread on Kaka instead of talking about ways to improve the team. That is EXACTLY what Berlusconi is looking for. At the end of the day, when Kaka decides to stay, the management won't even need to spend a penny on this pathetic squad and still be seen as heroes. Everything will go smoothly until the season starts and the team sucks big time and the fans starts to talk about signing new players again. And then January comes and guess what, Kaka is going to whereever again!

The part that really saddens me about this whole saga is how far the management is willing to go to manipulate the fans. After all the grief we went through since the Calciopoli scandal, the Shevchenko (a then club hero) sale, the terrible mercatos, the even worse performances on the pitch and the endless Kaka saga, they are still willing to go this far just so they can save a few bucks on the mercato. Their unwillingness to do their job right and make this club better is absolutely amazing to me. This is like me faking a suicide at my work just so I won't have to do my job and still gets paid. I still love this team as I have been a supporter since elementary school, but I can honestly say that I am about to give up my hope and support. Call me a bad fan if you will but I am not turning my back on them because Kaka is leaving or they haven't won any titles or whatever. It just saddens me so to see what my beloved club is turning into, a circus to amuse the fans instead of a serious soccer team that entertain the fans. It is like watching your own son turning into a serial rapist in front of your eyes. You don't have to kill him, but you can't help but to turn your back and look away.

Reasons not to sell kaka
1-Atmoshpere:
hes the new symbol,everyone loves him and he loves them back,which means u have a great atmoshpere in yr club.

2-Money:
-with kaka u r getting so many requests of friendlies from so many teams worldwide,the club makes money out of that.
-the team plays better when he plays and u cant easily replace him ,u will be entering the champions leauge and if u keep a good team u will be making good money out of that.
-very good marketing and advertising with kaka,the club makes money out of the contracts that kaka is part of.
-worlwide viewers to seria A mainly because kaka plays there,so im sure the goverment can support yr so called debts becoz italy realy wants kaka to stay with thhem.
-to cover the so called debts there r many other players that could be sold whom r not the symbol of milan,just like ronaldihno "its not that they r useless or i dont like them" but they can be considerd before kaka.
-if it was money y reject the Man City offer which was bigger?????
-if kaka wanted money than y did he as well reject that one?or is it just becoz it was too cold in manchester,and spain is sunny!!!
