He is, indeed, a striker. He's the son of Gianfranco Zigoni. He scored more than 100 goals at the youth level for Treviso and has been linked to Juve (one of his father's old clubs) and Manchester United, so if Milan can beat those clubs to his signature I think it's probably a good thing, even if he is loaned out for awhile. He was called up to Treviso's senior squad in January (when he was still 17) and also got the call to the Italy U-20 NT in February. It seems he could be a great prospect.

Seedorf's agent has quashed rumors that the player may go to Turkey, saying he is 100% Milan.

Quote:
Milan: ag. Seedorf "Nessuna trattativa in corso"

Yeah I hear ya Warro.

As much as I like Kaka', if he does go to Real, I hope he completely flops like Sheva did at Chelsea. That would ease my plight over his departure.

hopefully kaka will say he has swine flu and ruin the transfer between real and milan. It looks like the clubs were in agreement last week it just a case of kaka signing a contract with real. If this transfer goes through it is going to really damage Milan hopes for silverware in 09/10 season. I for one will not buy another jersey or go to the san siro again or watch Milan on the tv until world class players are bought to replace kaka or Milan stand by kaka and refuse to approve the transfer. remember the only weapon Galliani and Berlusconi are scarred of is economic i intend to hurt these crooks if they pursue this transfer.

Yes Milan must play at San Siro! Inter is looking to go from San siro and built a new stadium, why we should do the same?Whoes gonna play at San Siro if Inter and us leave it?
And why to leave it?Its not a foreign stadium for us, its our home!
I can't find any reason why we should leave, epsecially when inter is going to leave. Why? Can anyone find me a reason?

I think it's very much good news should that happen. Club's in Italy are desperately in need of their own stadiums mostly for the sake of competing with the global market, especially in revenue. San Siro, despite it's history needs a lot of work done to it. The pitch isn't ever going to help our players and is likely to cause a lot more injury. Then of course there are the facilities, which from the perspective of both club and fans, aren't particularly impressive.

It may be our traditional home, and the stadium in terms of atmosphere and seating numbers are still impressive on a global scale. However, there's no reason that we can't build a new stadium which can provide a similar atmosphere and have the same if not more seating than the San Siro. Owning the stadium, the club will make a great deal of revenue which as we all know, we need desperately.

Let's not forget Juve are already pioneering privately owned stadiums in Italy. Plus, the Emirates stadium (which was obviously sponsored by Fly Emirates as ours would be) is an impressive stadium. Given the stature of our club compared to Arsenal, there's no reason we couldn't have an even better stadium.

Then of course there's the Fly Emirates sponsorship. I'm not sure of the exact amount BWin give us, but I wouldn't be at all shocked if Fly Emirates were to give a lot more.

In all honesty, if we're to progress as a business, this deal seems brilliant.
