What i can say is that Dinho was a big disapointment for Milan, we expected from him to play and not the most times to be at the bench.
He is getting worse year by year, why to believe that he can change his mind?and if he change his mind can he do the things he did at barca at his best?
I prefer an offer of 30M from city and sign Silva from Valencia instead of waiting him + he is 28-29 years old!He is not a kid anymore.

Now he is none of those things and all he has is the technique and the amazing skill.....however no explosiveness in the first 5 meters of a sprint meaning that the moves are pointless because he can't get an advantage over his opponent. Therefore he poses no threat on the wide left (until he gets into great physical conditioning again....if that ever happens).

What I'm saying is that with age and physical conditioning obviously worsening, players' roles should change within a team. Ronaldinho needs to be played more centrally now where his lack of speed will not be felt simply because of his vision and ability to work the ball.

I'll never forget Zidane's last couple of years. IMO he lost a lot of physical conditioning in his last couple of year, however it wasn't noticeable on the field because he was so smart and was able to control the game and its pace(even though that was always his style of play). That is what Ronaldinho needs to do now. He needs to give up his comfort zone on the left touch-line, go into the middle and get involved into the game build up more. He certainly has the ability and the vision to do that.

In all fairness to Carlo, I think he has tried to do that with 'Dinho and has tried to get him more centrally. But Dinho always ends up drifting out wide. Ronaldinho himself needs to be the one to realize that those times are gone (unless he gets himself to the perfect physical condition he was in a couple of years ago, which now seems more and more unlikely), and recognize that he can be twice the player he is if only he gets centrally and uses his ability in tight spaces to controll the game and make it his own.
Spot on Nefremo in my opinion. He can't beat players one on one anymore, so he can't play on the left wing as he used to. Not to mention, that Pato already prefers to play on the left wing. He still is one of the best passers in the world, so he'll need to play in a role accordingly.

I think one of the problems Carlo has with Ronaldinho, is that he's nowhere near as tactically disciplined as Seedorf, which I think was basicly also the problem with Gourcuff. As you mentioned, Ronaldinho has a tendency to drift to the left wing, and when we're playing KaPaRo, we basicly have all of them standing on the left touchline, which is useless. Seedorf on the other hand is extremly aware of his positioning, you'll never see him drift to one side or the other all the time.

but dont u think facing a right back is way easier than facing a center back and defensive midfeilds especially when the right back is like Daniel Alves or David Santon or Janko and not like Stam or Bonera or Ivanovic?
i mean a back that doesnt fit as a center back or lack defensive abilities like Janko

Come on in, if you still believe in R80.

I DO.. I dont need his speed more than i need his vision.

Yup R80, Seedorf and Kaladze are the true future of football!!

Seriously though, R80 was ok as a side act to entertain the masses when we were winning. He aint gona pick the team up and drag us to success, he can bearly carry the burden of his own weight.

He is 29 years old and has only a couple of years ahead of him IF he can get his top performance and fitness. He had chance in one year to get back to his old form but he failed. How long does he need to get back to the great form?

I am really pesimistic but still I hope I am wrong.

The best option for Milan is selling Ronaldinho since he is 29 years old, an age that still can deliver much money.

I personally dont think r80 got a fair shot to show his worth. Coming in for 20min a game and sitting out for a couple games straight in my book isnt.

Gorky did not get a fair chance and you know the rest of the story. Gila was coached by carlo and played for us and he sucked, then he left and he kicked ass.

I want to see R80 and Leo 4-3-1-2 soooo bad.

Milan were in the first class but as you know, there is always a time that something to be promoted, just like at school. Milan should be now in the second class.

Gila was great at Parma, he did bad in Milan, and did well in Fio.
Gourcuff did well in his previous club before Milan but was pretty bad with Milan and did superbly with Bordeaux.

Ronaldinho was bad in Barcelona and was similar with Milan last season.

Ronaldinho was a great player at Barcelona. He was plagued by injuries his last season there and never got a chance to play regularly for Milan (in fact, he did play very well in some games). He's only 29, which is really the prime of most players. It appears that next season he will have the opportunity to play more regularly and he may fit into what Leonardo wants to do more than he fit with Carlo. I see no reason not to be optimistic that Ronaldinho can be an outstanding player again, even if maybe he never achieves the level of greatness he had with Barcelona.

Sorry my fault, I meant the year(s) before he went to Milan. His performance was just sinking after CL 2005/06.

By the same measure, you could say Kaka's performance was sinking after the 2006/07 Champions League. Ronaldinho only had one bad season at Barcelona and that was a season plagued by injury. He scored 24 goals in the 2006/07 season and was third in the FIFA World Player of the Year voting! This year he scored 10 goals for Milan as a part-time player. I think we should wait and see what his form is once he's in the lineup regularly before we stick a fork in him.

Come on , lets be optimistic .. the key is just to let Dinho wear the sacred no 10 again , and we get rid of the one who wears it before.

Sounds good to you? lets give it a try
