Aly is an incredible buy. I'm so happy. He's a better Serginho; just as fast, great crossing but a much much much stronger physicality. The guy is strong and can't be pushed around; and he's lightning quick. This is exactly the kind of player we needed. Leonardo is making all the right moves.

Dzeko next!

This is a little racist, but its about time we get some African blood in our team. Seedorf doesn't count. We were the only serious team without a tough, hardworking African in our side.

On the African inclusion, we are chasing McDonald of Parma.

Also, this latest buy is far from finalised, as the sources are most probably making up crap! Couldn't find it anywhere except Wiki.

I agree that we need a few more imposing players, but not those with poor technique. I'd like to see Mariga & Strasser in the squad, and maybe Osuji.

Your also right about Seedorf not counting as he's from Surinam, which is South America.

According to ilsussidiario.net, Milan general manager Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the "very difficult" negotiations with Porto for defender Aly Cissokho ended well "thanks to the friendship with the Porto president".

The Rossoneri will pay the Portuguese side €15 million for the services of the young full-back, who can play both on the left and right hand side, with the possibility of also playing as a winger when needed, therefore making him a very useful player for coach Leonardo's plans.

There should not be any problems with the 21-year-old's contract as Milan offered him four times more what he currently earns at Porto.

In fact the Rossoneri will offer him a four year deal at €1m per season. This sum obviously enticed the player greatly and allowed the former Champions League winners to beat the competition of Olympique Lyon.

In the meantime, Milan continue their assault on Wolfsburg for their striker Edin Dzeko who is valued at around €30m, which the Italian clubs considers to be too high as they can at most offer €20m plus the loan of full-back Massimo Oddo.

Its official, he is a Milan player. Galliani said the negotiations were tough but thanx to him friend, bla,bla... he'll be in Milanello on monday.

I cant say anything becouse I saw this man once. It would be nice if someone who saw him more often says something in details. Maybe brk?? Can you do it?

Good thing is that, as it looks, Leonardo is picking his players. Bad news is that we lost so much already its almost impossible to recover in one summer.

Galliani is having a serious love/hate relationship with me at the moment. Not sure whether to like him or depsise him, but know that he is a wily businessman. Business men have to take risks in life, and he lost out with Kaka. Your views?

Bandieras are not for sale, specially when they do not want to go ( I can explain in more details - Kak' didnt want to go ). Image and soul of the culb is baing ruined and Silvio is doing things that are out of line! Sales of Kaka' and Yoan have seriousely damaged Milan's identity as they were about to lead Milan to new levels. Its sad to see Milan bahaves like Real Betis. Im all in with ultras to sell if they dont want to pay. That is what I think. Past is past, today is now.

I read a report saying that Berlusconi is seriously moving away from Milan inregards to finances, and leaving it to Galliani to amge the small amount of funds wisely. If he is no longer willing to invest, then leave!

Welcome to Aly Cissokho if all the rumours are true. 15 m is a lot for a relatively unknown talent, but hopefully he can succeed with us and having read posts of many people who have seen him it sounds like an excellent buy.

Don't forget we've got both Antonini and Zambrotta who can play LB. Whilst we may not have direct replacements for the role, we have a lot of players who can play there.

Where did you hear that? Sorry to sound like a broken record, but ilsussidario.net is not a reliable source for Milan news and therefore would hardly be the first to break this story if it were true. If it were on Gazzetta or acmilan.com, then I'd be inclined to believe it.
