asking for a loan is ridiculous i mean what response does Galliani expect i think some protection should be included in the deal maybe porto provide compensation on a related injury to Cissokho affliction. This really doesn't bode well for the the rest of transfer window galliani has ability for negotiation but he should come up a with a more realistic solution.

I actually agree with slifersd that if Cissokho failed the medical, this transfer should have been scrapped and not us requesting discounts. The player himself has said in the first medical they found potential problems, but the second more detailed medical went successfully. Messerman has apparently also come out and said the problems were resolved, but he wasn't sure if the player would come.

Quite honestly, if a player fails a medical, then he shouldn't come end of story. If he passes he should come. Why are we negotiating again if he failed? and if he passed as he seems to claim, then why is the transfer not going through? We're looking and acting like idiots in the way we're handling matters these days.

Well yesterday they were talking about a clause which would give us compensation if he got injured due to the teeth problem. Which sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Milannews.it has Zapata's agent saying that they couldnt refuse an offer from Milan. I would love this signing as i've been very impressed with him in the games i've seen him play.

It's one thing to ask for insurances in the contractual agreement, it's completely different asking for discount on top of discounts and then a loan deal.

That's what you say, but he already had a "pubalgy" (??) because of his teeth despite his young age ... my brother who plays football (amateur level) has had problems with his teeth and especially two important problems that caused him two muscular problems to his legs ... and you know what ? That happened when he was 23 and 25 (now he is 27).

The agent of Marchetti said we have an option (verbal one) to buy him next year ... depending on his performances.

So it's one more player flirting with us ... but we have still bought noone, what are we waiting to "use" these flirts ?!

So, really, were all the alarm bells yesterday for Cissokho justified? He signed a "pre-contract" right? Or is the move definately off?

I agree--if it were up to me I would scrap the deal. But if a player does have medical problems, I think we're being a bit smart by asking for a reduced price. Galliani and company piss me off to no end, and I hate them with a passion sometimes, but I really don't see how this is Milan's fault. Honestly.

This elaborate plan that Galliani has concocted (according to some) would come with a host of legal issues. Cissokho, Porto etc. could sue. I honestly think you people need to relax.

There is nothing wrong IMO with the stance the club is taking at this stage.

Those of us here that are bemoaning the scenario as it unfolds, must never have bought something that looked great in the packaging, but on closer inspection, proved to be faulty...

Thats the very reason why we have medicals in the first place!! Good grief! Its as if we (at least some of us) believe that all this was done on purpose to embarass us fans and the club.

If because of the findings, he isnt what we thought we were getting, then obviously the terms must change?

Player's not utilised yet, dun think Porto will wanna fight a case for that...waste money anyway.
It's not like u bought a wife, used it and found that she dun really satisfy u.
This wife has totally not been touched at all.
She simply went for a pre-marital checkup and the doctor simply could have mentioned she had yeast infection.
Other party didn't like her and end of story.
