“Unfortunately their demands for a loan deal are too high, so the transfer is over,” announced Adriano Galliani

Galliani: Milan's market will be closed after Dzeko.

milannews.it

This is the real bad news of the day. This is what we should be enraged about.

And the thing is this is not a strategy--these dyed in the wool thieves and molesters actually mean it. That is how it has happened in the past. We are missing the big picture. Hopefully Galliani and Berlusconi get lost or go to prison. I hope Berlusconi is convicted of his plethora of crimes. If they honestly do close the market after Dzeko, then they will have reached a new low.

It's not the fact that the Aly transfer was canceled, it's the fact that Galliani asked for a discount. What this means is that only 3 or 4 million and we would have been willing to buy damaged goods. He was still bargaining. He should have rejected him once he found out about the condition, or buy him with better insurance coverage paid for by Porto. Not ask for %20 less. It's the manner in which he's been acting that pissed me off. Declaring that Aly is the future of Milan, the new Milan, and then treating him like cattle asking for a damaged goods discount. It's very damaging to our reputation.

First of all, if Cissohko really failed the medical, Milan should not sign him period and not ask for a discount or insurance from Porto or even a loan deal from Porto.

Secondly, if I am Porto, I would tell Milan to F**K Off. Here is Cissohko, apparently he passed a more detail physical from your doctor and yet you still come to me to get a discount. Take it or leave it, heck better yet, lets find a third party to run tests on him. If he passes them, give us 15mil or we will sue....

NO clubs would even try to do what Galli was doing. I mentioned that once this news hit a few days ago, and I said that this better not be Galli's tricks to lower the price. Now this.

I think Galliani's approach makes complete sense. I am a doctor and I can tell you that certain teeth problems can cause POTENTIAL bone, joint, or muscular problems in the future. THe player does not currently have a physical problem, but will have a higher risk than an average person to develop some sort of a problem down the line. Hence, it makes sense to either ask for compensation if he gets injured, take him out on loan first, or ask for a discount in the price. It is not like a serious knee problem which can cause a transfer to be called off.

Honestly, he ****s up the Cissokho transfer (yes I see it as a **** up whatever happened) and now claims Dzeko is our only target? **** him and Berlu. If he's serious then this club's future is in serious trouble, and if he's not then he's just a piece of **** that's pissed all over the fans feelings too much.

This is exactly what my friend said, and he is in sports medicine. The phrasing was virtually identical to yours.

Yes, that's exactly the point. The player does not have a problem, but he has an increased propensity to develop physical problems in the future, therefore, we either should be spending less for him, or Porto should compensate us if he gets injured, or we loan him out for a specified period of time and see how he goes. Makes complete sense. I think we ought to give our administrators a little more credit and respect. It's not a matter of chance that they have developed Milan into the most title-winning club in the world, ie they know what they're doing!

Let's all calm down. We all know that Galliani lies every time he opens his mouth. So Dzeko is certainly not our only transfer target.

As for Cissokho.....Galliani came out a week ago and lied again.....claiming that it was the clubs' close ties that made the transfer happen and how Cissokho is the best young LB available and out there. However, now that there is problem where is the friendship of the two clubs?

I guess clubs are only friendly with us when we agree to their terms. If not they just bend us over show us who's the man. And because of this....I would cancel the deal too if I was Galliani. F*** Porto. We gave them 15mil for a somewhat unknown player and we agreed to their terms.......so now there is a problem and they need to bend a little too. If they don't want to, then we move on.

I refuse to believe our mercato is over after Dzeko. If I'm not mistaken Galliani has said several times (after the Thiago Silva deal) that we'll sign a centre back and a centre forward. Surely management don't all of a sudden think that we'll be fine with the addition of just Dzeko. If so, or if they just don't give a damn anymore, they really aren't capable of running this club.

Since when has Galliani been truthful about market objectives?

Not that I have much hope but over the years we have seen many such statements.

In his interview, he said that our targets would be a LB and a CF (Dzeko if possible) and then it would be over but all reports have entitled this interview by "Dzeko and our mercato will be over" ...

Of course, when these guys say that our mercato will be over, that means that we will have bought our targets but if there is an amazing or useful player with an adequate price who becomes available, I think we will try to get him anyway ... (let's say for example that Eto'o is free to leave if he wants for 10M, even if we get Dzeko and our LB, I think we will try to get him ... of course, it's a stupid example as that won't happen, but I think you understand what I mean).

I agree. They've both said a number of times a significant portion of the Kaka money will be spent on replacements. They're trying to do their job quietly without unnecessary speculation that might raise the price of the target. Like in Dzeko's case where others have also shown interest in buying him.

Since the club has a lot of money to spend, such a lie, if it is indeed that, is welcome.
