Just for once, I wish Galliani can stop treating the fans like idiots. I mean, what exactly is the point of keep saying "our squad is perfect as it is"? The fans won't think the squad is great just because Galliani said it; the media won't stop bashing the lousy transfers just because Galliani said it; and the results won't become great just because Gallaini said it. For once, come out and tell it like it is, "we have a good squad, but there are areas that needs improvements on."

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
According to milannews.it it seems we've signed Gianmarco Zigoni. I remember seeing his name crop up here a week or two ago. Anyone have much info on him?

All I know is he's 18, 6ft2 tall, apparently has decent technique and speed for his size and scored over 100 goals for Treviso youth sides.

Sounds like we've bought our replacement for Dzeko. Market closed!

You know, when something is repeated to you 100 times you'll start actually believing in it, that's what Galliani is doing.

I don't know much about him beyond what's already been said. I know both Juventus and Manchester United were interested in him. And I know he's the son of Gianfranco Zigoni, an excellent player for Juve, Roma and Verona in the 60s and 70s.

I was looking to see if I could find a youtube clip and couldn't, but I did find a short clip of his dad when he played for Verona!

This Milan has done it, its so obvious its all over. But some people dont want to see it. Money has been taken out and there is no way Milan can compete with big clubs anymore. Its classical robbery from people that dont give a **** anymore.

Rossi SUITS us as we'll play 4-3-3! This Siena defender instead of "the next best fullback in Europe..." hahahaha!

i donteven feel like writing. The club has done everything wrong. Sold 2 great players, threated Maldini like ****, treated fans like ****, lied, took the money and kept the palyers that are worth nothing but their wages can get smaller coz they actually know they are worth almost nothing now.

Galliani does not work for 4 years now, man has no clue what he is doing. You should have seen how they made fun out of him on italian tv yesterday. He lost control of serie a market 5 years ago, since Berlu stoped paying 30% more then everyone else so the palyers were easy to buy. Maxwell, Santacroce, Hernanes, Rossi, Benzema - this is a team, not this ****. But money laundrin player Viudez took one non eu spot and there is no place for both Dzeko and Hernanes, surprise... When you look at ti seriousely you start to laugh. Its like some kids are running it.

I dont expect anything from this half-team. Be real, its done, money has been taken and what's left are parts of a great team. Dinho, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Kaladze, Marek, Dida, Boriello, Bonera...those are not top players, come on.

We need to spend 80-90mln for a good team now. And we cant pay ****.

Without sounding too hypocritical, it all depends on whether Janko is used as trade bait for a Mexes acquisition. What Galliani said was true, despite being stingy, in regards to our LB/RB. Atonini is good and deserved more of a chance, Zambro is still good, Bonera can play RB, and we can keep Favalli if NO ONE arrives.
I am not saying that Milan shouldn't buy another LB or RB, it is just that we have more important matters to adress first.

More silliness from the English press:

Quote:
AC Milan meet with Barca as Italians line up last-ditch rival bid for Manchester City target Eto'o

AC Milan are set to rival Manchester City for the signing of Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o.

Italian super agent Ernesto Bronzetti met Barcelona technical secretary Txiki Begeristain at the Nou Camp yesterday to discuss a deal for the Cameroon international.

Milan would come nowhere near matching Eto'o's City wage demands of £192,000 a week AFTER TAX over the four-year-deal, but the Serie A giants hope to tempt the striker with the glamour of playing for one of the most successful teams in history.

The 28-year-old was understood to be happy to see out the final year of his contract at the Nou Camp before securing a lucrative move to another of Europe's giants next summer.

But City's dizzying £70million total packagehas turned his head and Barca want to cash in this summer.

The European champions are delighted with a fee of just under £30m on the table from City and need to sell to boost their summer transfer budget of about £25m.

Like him or not , Robben is a decent and younger player, who would suit Leo's tactical system:

Arjen Robben Told To Leave Real Madrid By Jorge Valdano
Real Madrid may have recently made headlines for signing players, but now they are creating news by starting to offload the ones they already have...

Arjen Robben has been told that he should listen to offers from clubs wanting to sign him as Real Madrid will not include him next term and he could be excluded from the squad.

The harsh warning came from the club's new director general, Jorge Valdano, and will see clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur push forward their interest in the Dutch star.

Before Florentino Perez took over as president it was widely reported that he wanted the Dutch contingent out and Robben in particular due to his incredible injury record.

"It would be better if Robben listened to the offers coming in for him," Valdano is quoted as saying by The Guardian.

Robben's father and agent, Hans, has stated that his son will not be joining Tottenham because he wants to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Madrid see Robben as a risk, but also as a valuable asset who can be sold in order to help their summer spending spree as they will be seeking to recoup the majority of the €30 million that they paid Chelsea for him.

Robben is inured 70% of the season. this has been the case for years now! no need to sign him.

@ Samaldinho
I'm belgian and I've seen loads of hassan for anderlecht, very good player but absolutely not Milan class!! I dont know about the other egyptian players maybe they are much better but hassan is no milan material.

I've seen a number of media links (for what it's worth) between Milan and Robben the past few days. Some even claim that Leonardo thinks Robben would be a perfect fit for what he wants to do, although I don't recall seeing any actually quotes from Leonardo on that.

I suspect it wouldn't be at all difficult to get Robben to move to Milan. I haven't actually heard him say as much, but I suspect he was a fan of Milan growing up. When he was still at Chelsea I recall seeing a thing where they had him pick an all-time team of 10 players he'd like to play with and six of the 10 (the Dutch Trio plus Maldini, Nesta and Baresi) were Milan players. So I've always had the impression he likes Milan.

Oh, and one thing I should add is that I've seen several pieces written by Real Madrid fans on fan sites begging Perez not to sell Robben in particular, but also Sneijder and Van der Vaart.

Actually, while Robben struggled with injury his first season at Real Madrid, he got healthy and started 42 games for them this past season while subbing in seven more. So hopefully, whether he comes to Milan or not, his injury problems are behind him.

"There will not be any further discussions and we will not find another alternative. We have many wing-backs and we will stay as we are."

Despite the deal for Cissokho being scuppered, Galliani admits Milan will continue to survey the market for a decent striker, with Dzeko being the hitman of choice.

"Our aims are focussed on a good striker now. Dzeko is a great player and we will hope to do it [sign him], if not we will move on someone else.

"We have a great squad of players already, all we need is a top-class striker.

"As for [Andrea] Pirlo, we have not received any offers for him and he will stay 99.9 percent."

I hope it's just him talking **** again, because if this is really our strategy, we're pretty much screwed. These were my favourite quotes:

"We have many wing-backs" and...
"We have a great squad of players already, all we need is a top-class striker"

We have Zambrotta who's still good enough (but a far cry from the player he once was), but whoelse? Jankulovski the midfielder? or Antonini the backup?

And we don't anything but a striker? I'm speechless...again I hope (and, to a degree, believe) that Galliani is just doing what loves most...blowing hot air.

told u guys that he Galliani never had the intention of buying Cissokho.
All is bull.

I find it hard to believe that Galliani knew about Cissokho's dental problem and went through a big charade of agreeing to deals with both the club and the player as well as bringing the player in for a medical exam just to be screwing with the heads of fans. Because if he never intended to buy Cissokho he would have had to have known the player would fail the exam, otherwise he couldn't and wouldn't have made the original agreements.

Do these idiots realise that fans will stop buying merchandise going to games people abroad will stop travelling to games to see great players because there is none a bad squad will fail in Europe and abroad, that means that no money will come in , if Berlusconi stopped playing hide the sausage with teenage schoolgirls and gave a damn about Milan he could open his eyes and make a deal to SELL SELL SELL .
