This part is especially funny. Had we finished on level points with the first place but lost the championship due to the head-to-head, I wonder whether he could claim us as the "true champion", or maybe "half champion".

no need to worry now guys! Galliani is ALWAYS lying when he talks about the market. I expect a striker, a wingback and a central defender. Maybe also a creative midfielder.
we lost many players this summer. Maldini, Mattioni, Senderos, Gourcuff, Kaka, Favalli? and Shevchenko. no way we will only sign Dzeko. + we wouldve signed Cissokho if he didnt had this medical problem, wich suggests the management wants a wingback. be it cissokho, be it someone else. We lost 6 players we wont replace them with only 1 signing.

Dzeko
Maxwell
Mexes
Abate
Hernanes

this COULD happen.

lol!! this part is really funny!! It can only make ma laugh! I believe someone in galliani's position cant be an idiot, but when I read statements like that one I am seriously doubting him! Add to that the 'semi goals' we scored and he is officially an idiot and I even forgot the 'we rule the market' statement
Galliani is a a funny guy!

Come on man, wait till the transfer period ends then you can curse on the management if they don't invest.
Galliani has always been a hilarious fellow, he thinks he's funny when its clear that he has lost it.

Acmir your right I should relax it would just be better for the team if all the signings that we hopefully make could be there for full pre season training especially with a new coach.

Im just a bit frustrated and wondering if we will buy any1 or just take people on the cheap and free transfers or on loan but it is a bit worrying some of Galli's statements make him sound like a 100% bonified IDIOT.

If they dont invest as it should I hope the people in Milano who normally buy season tickets wont do that, it would be a very clear signal if the season tickets would drop by 60-70%! wich is possible IMO.

Where is Warro with the rules of silly season? I think I remember one saying: don't trust anything the management say in the press.

Galliani's not mad enough to sell Kaka and not bring in anyone. We're still in June, there's plenty time to go.

By the way I never introduced myself, Im a lifelong Milan fan started in 1989 when I was 5 my Father also supports them .

I always stayed away from Milan forums because I knew Id get hooked talking to people who also had the same passion that I do and I have.

But this is for transfers and Im going through some strange emotions at the moment believing the management and then thinking we'll sign no1 but it is only june and I really pray that we will sign some players to fit into Leo's plans.

The defence needs a total overhaul and a strong battling midfielder this talk of us being champions is strange champions of what exactly milanello, anyway I think its Gallianis attemp to make us the fans believe Milan will sign no1.

So then when they do bring players in we will be happy even though they are not top quality players most likely on the cheap or on loan.
I swear to God that if we end up with Luca Toni and Panucci and an average or ageing midfielder I will be so pissed but there is nothing I can do.... Do us proud Mr. Galliani.

Why we are upset about Cissokho

Why we are upset about the Cissokho deal is pretty obvious:

Milan USED to be a club that buys top drawer talent...i.e. players that are COVETED by the BEST TEAMS....players like $heva, Nesta, Seedorf, Rui, Pippo (to an extent) Rivaldo and Crespo......and we got great Italians like Rino, Pirlo AND we even bought TOP RATED TALENTS like Kaka and of course Pato..........Now we're going after players that the average fan or even serious fans don't know......like Dzeko (one season played well in Germany) and the even lesser known and far more unproven Cissokho. In an effort to save money by buying these lower rated players you encounter a whole world of uncertainty as was demonstrated by Cissohko's failed medical. Even more embarrassing is that our once mythical Milan Lab is now a laughing stock and in one medical fails a player that is subsequently passed in a more detailed analysis We then have the audacity to sneek an old trick past Porto and expect them to fall for it and lower their admittedly ridiculous asking price.

THIS IS NOT HOW A BIG CLUB BEHAVES

And ffs stop using the "proven champions" phrase....Manure has Giggs, Scholes and Neville who also fit the bill of "proven champions" you don't hear them perpetually singing their praises....in fact they are slowly and rightfully being phased out......It's beginning to look like Berlu intends to play Seedorf until his club Monza makes it to SerieA and begins to kick our @$$es around in both SerieA and the CL

The money is a bit of a problem no doubt but they way we handle the little we have makes me think it's time to stop using Zimbabwe's economic model and resume the application of common sense. Selling Gourcuff for the same price that we were willing to pay for Cissokho i something that would have probably made sense to G.W. Bush's economic acumen but to the rest of us it reeks of stupidity and stinks of the usual political intrigue and deception that we have all sadly grown to tolerate.

Not only this but our HERO has been sold at a somewhat bargain price to Real and his direct successor has been sold as well.....Carlo's failure to play Sid (the character from the movie Ice Age ) has been punished by expulsion from the "family club" Now the "family" looks to be moving to Stamford Bridge rather than to play for a guy who's ink on his coaching license hasn't dried. But heyyyy it's time for change right? Yeah forza change Of course he plans to use the same strategy that Mourinho learned doesn't work (even with the right personnel) and ditched before half a season. Imagine a 4-3-3 didn't work with Mancini AND Quaresma!!!!! We're going to try it with ONE fast player in our entire F~(king squad Imagine with all this b.s. (berlu style) going on- we get news of a FAST, STRONG, YOUNG player going to join our ranks followed just as swiftly by news that we don't want him OR a replacement. True galliani has lied all the time about who and what he wanted. That doesn't mean that he's right and he usually ends up going for the cheaper $#!t.

Galliani: All we want is Adebayor (who woold have fit in well at the time)
WE got: Sid, Zam's brother, Senderrors $h!tvac and a left back who should be left back

Galliani: We're after Henry (after the $heva sale)
WE GOT: Olivera and the mercurial Bonera

Galliani: We want Ronaldo or Figo
WE GOT: Ronaldo nearly a decade later banged up and out of shape and we're getting Figo sometime in August

Hate to say it but we're officially a $hit club

Are you sure that Pato really said what was written in this newspaper ??
It looks like we are an easy source/target to make new articles about players leaving ...

After the fact that the agent of Gattuso said that it was badly translated and so "misinterpreted" and after the fact that Pirlo said he gave no interview these last days (whereas an English newspaper reported he maybe wanted to go ...), I won't believe anything from now until the end of this mercato !!
