According to Singapore Daily, Galliani claimed,

"We Milan are filled with champions. Just look at Oddo! He is such a champion that we want him back from Bayern (let alone he got burned by Messi and Henry in CL!)"

Then later Galliani will say at milan.com:

"I never talk to Singapore Daily. We have enough champions and side back. We don't need anyone".

lol... it's such a freaking joke.

drucurl will become famous soon enough
Pato doesn't know what an INESTIMABLE PRIVILEGE it is to play alongside Favagol, Seedreef*, Pirlo and Inzaghi. He should go now because he doesn't deserve to play alongside the proven champs like Nedved Figo and hopefully Zidane

*Seedorf seems pretty committed .....until, Monza starts competing with us for a Europa League spot of course. Then a tearful Galliani will vow that we'll invest the entire crate of bananas Monza (under Seedorf's astute management) paid, into replacing him

we lost many players this summer. Maldini, Mattioni, Senderos, Gourcuff, Kaka, Favalli? and Shevchenko. no way we will only sign Dzeko. + we wouldve signed Cissokho if he didnt had this medical problem, wich suggests the management wants a wingback. be it cissokho, be it someone else. We lost 6 players we wont replace them with only 1 signing.

Dzeko
Maxwell
Mexes
Abate
Hernanes

this COULD happen.
Roma wont sell Mexes to us,also he wants to stay with them.
inter will never give Maxwell to us.
Abate is already ours.
Hernanes is impossible,3rd spot for Non Eu player is very unlikely now,the answer will be a no for it.
Dzeko is possible.

we have many champions, but finished champions.

Pato,Dzeko(if we sign him),T.Silva,Zambrotta,Gattuso,Pirlo and Flamini are our only qualiy players.hope their contribution will be enough for 3rd place as we just can fight for 3rd place with this squad.Other players except them are not Milan quality, finished champions or crap players.

we shouldnt have money problem,we are enough rich to offer 3.2 m euros a year to Ambrosini,Ambrosini knows Milan have money so he asked for 4.5 m euros a year.Milan is the only club in the world a crap player like Ambro can earn around 3-4 m euros a year.if we dont renew him and let him go next season,im sure he wont find any club who can pay even 2 m euros a year to him.great players earns half of him at the clubs like Fiorentina.Mutu earns half of Ambrosini.if we want to balance the budget,we have to cut the wages,Amrbsoini is the one of the first players that we should make.1.5 m euros is too much for him.offer him 1.5 m euros a year.it depents on him whether accept it or not.its up to him.

By the way,Galliani said that only Dzeko will come and the market is closed.

Serie B

Here we come.

i donteven feel like writing. The club has done everything wrong. Sold 2 great players, threated Maldini like ****, treated fans like ****, lied, took the money and kept the palyers that are worth nothing but their wages can get smaller coz they actually know they are worth almost nothing now.

Galliani does not work for 4 years now, man has no clue what he is doing. You should have seen how they made fun out of him on italian tv yesterday. He lost control of serie a market 5 years ago, since Berlu stoped paying 30% more then everyone else so the palyers were easy to buy. Maxwell, Santacroce, Hernanes, Rossi, Benzema - this is a team, not this ****. But money laundrin player Viudez took one non eu spot and there is no place for both Dzeko and Hernanes, surprise... When you look at ti seriousely you start to laugh. Its like some kids are running it.

I dont expect anything from this half-team. Be real, its done, money has been taken and what's left are parts of a great team. Dinho, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Kaladze, Marek, Dida, Boriello, Bonera...those are not top players, come on.

We need to spend 80-90mln for a good team now. And we cant pay ****.
Here is a little something that might brighten up your day a little. I took a class in Strategic Management last semester and one of the things I learned was this thing called Hravest Strategy. A Harvest Strategy is used by parent companies who are looking to shut down operation in one of their subsidiaries soon. It mainly deals with the parent company limiting the subsidiaries' budget to bare minimum and extract as much of their investments from it as they can. To me, that is exactly what Milan is doing right now. And if that's true, then Berlusconi is definitely selling the team soon. I for one am looking forward to remembering him as the former owner of AC Milan.

There are many reasons I want Berlusconi out, and not all of them are linked to his frugality.

He is absolutely repellent. When Dino Zoff's Italy lost to France in Euro2000, Berlusconi branded him an "amateur." I still remember thinking, does this callous opportunist really run my club. He is always willing to scorn other people's work, while he sits on his media empire, curbing freedom of speech in a first-world, G8 country. And what work has he done lately for Milan?

His political cronies are frank bigots, spewing xenophobic bile whenever the opportunity arises. He is a philanderer, who allegedly cavorts with minors, and he places buxom women in important political positions. He is a megalomaniac who has his grimy fingers in every affair. He has singlehandedly ruined Italian football by canceling collective TV rights negotiations. He has a singular ability to get elected and re-elected, yes; however, only because his opponents are weak-willed, floundering politicians.

I want to see the back of this guy as soon as possible.

Now in the case of wingbacks, it is OBVIOUS that we are looking for a new left-back, else we wouldn't be spending 15M on Cissokho, but the last thing we should be doing now is running to other clubs and making a panic buy ala Oliveira. So of course our Baldy is going to lie and tell everyone how little we need a left back and how our squad is perfect and how we would be happy to take a left back off someone's wage bill if they give us a fair price. Believe me, a new left back will come if we can find someone appropriate. If not, I still don't think it's the end of the world---with Oddo back, we have Janku/Zambro who can cover the left and Antonini/Oddo for the right. I know it's not the best solution, but really these guys are not inexperienced scrubs, they should be a reliable option.

Wow, are you like on Galliani's payroll or something? You cannot be serious about this.

Milan missed out on Cissokho, a guy who could very well develop into the next Roberto Carlos. And if his development goes according to plan, this could be the last chance Milan has at signing him for an affordable price in the next 10 years or so. Not to mention, Milan currently has no wingbacks that is even remotely reliable outside of Zambrotta, who isn't getting any younger by the way. People wouldn't be upset about this cancellation if there is actually a replacement available, but even you cannot believe that to be the case.

Now onto the tactic Galliani use to "negotiate" with others. Do you really think that other clubs are going to lower the prices of their players just because Galliani said Milan is perfect as it is? Every team can simply log onto Milan.com and take a look at the roster and know for a fact that Milan needs new, young and better wingbacks (among other things). Therefore, they will continue to demand high prices because they have absolutely no reason to lower them. Like I said in one of my previous posts, just because Galliani keeps saying it doesn't mean Milan is perfect. And even if the other teams do believe that Milan is perfect, why would they lower the price of their players? If you don't want to sign him, then don't sign him, it's just that simple. If your team is perfect, then why are you even talking to me about signing my player?

Lastly, if you really think the flunkies assembled by the club right now on the wingback positions can handle the job of winning trophies, then there is nothing I can say. Outside of Zambrotta, none of those guys have proved that they can handle the role of a starter on this team, nonetheless a reliable player. And that, is saying a lot considering how weak the competition they have are (how many good wingbacks are there in the world any more?).

Sad to say thus far Milan's summer has been a huge disappointment.

They've sold their best player, and have bought no one. I am really surprised that Galliani has been allowed to live in peace by the ultras.

If we don't get 3-4 quality players this summer, then we will have a mediocre season again next year.

This management, who has seen the likes of MVB, Sheva, Kaka', Baresi, Nesta, Maldini etc., grace the San Siro cannot possibly expect us to believe that we have a squad of champions.

Berlu and Galliani must be senile or not interested in Milan anymore. Inter are buying players (again), strengthening a team that walked to the Scudetto. Further, it seems like Ibra and Maicon may stay. Keeping our philosophy in mind, if we had won the Scudetto, the following year we would be more likely to sell the team than keep it as it is. Horrible stuff.

Why ??
I'm all against all kind of pressure or violence even if the guy tends to speak a bit too much in medias ... it's just football, don't forget it.

I'm against violence also. But it is surprising how the ultras have left Galliani in peace. And we can momentarily ease our misgivings by "it's just football," but ultras subscribe to the Shankly school of thought.

I am in full support of non-violent protest though; that is, street theater that gets its point across emphatically but non-violently.

Fans or ultras wielding power is not the solution, even if you like the Spanish model that still has holes in it. There are plenty of rich people who are willing to do something similar to what Berlusconi was doing earlier in his ownership, if he doesn't want to do it himself he should sell.

Actually, I think the Ultras leaving Galliani alone might be the best way to get their message acrossed. Violent protests and even death threats only shows that these guys are still with the team emotionally. And that is exactly what Galliani and Berlusconi are banking on. As long as the fans are still emotionally attached to the team, they will still pay for tickets, merchandises and TV channels no matter what kind of crappy players they put out there. By leaving them alone, the fans showed that they are willing to walk the hell away from the team. That leads to decrease in revenue in all areas, which is the only thing B&G give a crap about nowadays. And eventually, it could lead to some changes being made to win the fans back.

Anyway, do you think that the fact that Galliani needs two or three bodyguards each time he is outside is normal ?

I don't think so ... so please, let the ultras where they are (in holidays or wherever they can be), especially the few idiots who showed to the world how stupid they are at the end of the game against Roma.

Interesting point.

However, the common Italian tifoso, who is unemployed and who has been nurtured by football for all his life cannot simply walk away.

Further, to organize a boycott requires uniformity of will. To gather a crowd of 100-200 like-minded fans is much easier, and, unsurprisingly, the option that is frequently taken up in Italy.

I agree with your idea in principle, however--protesting by threatening the club's finances is far more effective.
