I was just trying to read some of the latest stuff in the Italian media. Nothing much new, but one article dealing with Zuniga also claimed that Maxwell was an option Milan was looking at (still can't see Inter selling him to Milan, but we'll see). Also there's some talk of Ronaldinho going back to Gremio when his Milan contract runs out in 2011.

Galliani is permanently Cissokho asks for only the loan, the final assignment is a closed chapter. The treaty thus could partially reopen in the coming days, and AC Milan could also rely on the will of the player, currently on holiday in Senegal, moving to Milan and reject once again that Lyons offered 12 million.

Lyon made their offer before the dental problems were revealed.

So this is the situation: Galliani has a "great friend" in Porto's president. Now Galliani actually blackmails Porto by having a player in his hands and he will ask a player to make pressure so that Porto actually loans Cissokho to Milan with an option to buy. Which means Milan will spend money next summer, not this one...

Then Dzeko and aguess one Cb. Which will cost 40mln alltogether. Which means they again stole 40mln... woho! surprise...

You keep saying stole. Who are they stealing from? Why is it stealing? Milan is not a charity or a public trust, it's a business. If he wants to make a profit or balance the books, it's his god damn right. Who is he stealing from?

just a side info for the ones that are interested - Roma will not be selling the club today as the buyers aparently have financial problems themselves.

Milan really could use some good news in these few coming days. Really, as some people said earlier, it can't get any worse than this (or can it?)

of course it can't!.....All of you need to realize that the media is obsessed seeing the demise of AC Milan!... since we're one the teams that dont play 433 or have a ton of money to toss around or is it we were 1 the last clubs to destroy united or that even without kaka'... since our league is so tactically oriented sometimes we pull out results like a rabbit out of our rear end? OR IS IT BECAUSE WE'RE 7X CAMPIONE D' EUROPA! it's true times are tough but we'll rise again....people dont understand the economic crisis in Italy its bad.... and the tax is ridiculous compared to Espana Britannia....now look we need.....

1.2 more defenders young or world class

2.we need strikers 1 or 2 of them Eto'o or Dzeko? and bring paloschi back if he's availible

3.IF WE STAY HEALTHY WE MATCH UP WELL WITH ANYBODY

4.R80 HAS TO BE BARCA'S R80

DONT GIVE UP COPA D' CAMPIONE NOSTRA RITORNATA A ARRIVATO!

There is no conspiracy and nobody has it in for Milan. This is just the result of a larger narrative that has developed around the team. Its a natural evolution of our 'Milan is old' narrative. Seeing Kaka sold changes the 'Milan is old' story into 'Milan is finished' and so journalists will seek (or create) stories that will fit that narrative. It's going to take a long time and some victories for the team to regain its stature. These things hardly ever change overnight.

EDIT: There are new rumblings that Cissokho might still happen. I don't want to raise my hopes too much, but I still believe very strongly that this man is absolutely critical for us. People say he's new, and untested, but I say that from what little i've seen, he's a frickin' monster. We need him desperately. He is going to be the best left back in the world in no time. Our team needs the best full backs that can run non-stop, and he's the best one on the market. We need Aly.

MilanNews.it:

This all happened today-

"Although the negotiations for the transfer of Aly Cissonkho (21) from Porto to Milan is officially blurred, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport the two clubs continue to contact underhand. Il Milan non va su altre piste per il ruolo di esterno. AC Milan does not go to other tracks to play outside. Così le candidature dell'interista Maxwell (28) e di Andrea Dossena (28) del Liverpool non trovano conferma in via Turati. Thus applications of Maxwell (28) and Andrea Dossena (28) of Liverpool is not confirmed in via Turati. Il Milan è convinto di poter aver in prestito il giocatore, nonostante Pinto da Costa prema per cederlo subito, la trattativa dunque potrebbe avere ulteriori risvolti. AC Milan is sure to have the player on loan, despite Pinto da Costa push to sell it immediately, then the negotiation could have further implications. "

20.06.2009 17:31

" Dal Portogallo rimbalzano voci di una riapertura per Aly Cissokho (21). Portugal bounce entries reopening for Aly Cissokho (21). Il Porto vorrebbe abbassare il prezzo del cartellino del terzino, da 15 a 10 milioni di euro, ma il Milan è fermo sulle sue pozioni. The Port wants to lower the price tag of the quarterback, from 15 to 10 million, but the Milan is still on his potions. Galliani è inamovibile, per Cissokho si chiede solo il prestito, la cessione definitiva è un capitolo chiuso. Galliani is permanently Cissokho asks for only the loan, the final assignment is a closed chapter. La trattativa dunque potrebbe in parte riaprirsi nei prossimi giorni, e il Milan potrebbe far leva anche sulla volontà del giocatore, attualmente in vacanza in Senegal, di trasferirsi a Milano e rifiutare ancora una volta il Lione che offriva 12 milioni. The treaty thus could partially reopen in the coming days, and AC Milan could also rely on the will of the player, currently on holiday in Senegal, moving to Milan and reject once again that Lyons offered 12 million. "

20.06.2009 21:53

"Contacted by the French newspaper L'Equipe, Roger Boli, agent Cissokho Aly said that the negotiations between Milan and Porto is conludendo favorably for his client and for the Milan. " Per il passaggio di Aly al Milan mancano solo alcuni dettagli. I suoi problemi fisici sono quasi del tutto passati ". "For the passage of Aly to Milan is only a few details. His physical problems are almost gone." Queste le parole di Boli al quotidiano francese. These are the words of the French newspaper Boli. Intano si parla di uno sconto di circa 5 milioni di Euro effetuato dai Dragones al Milan, confermando così le indiscrezioni, prima smentite, raccolte da MilanNews dove vi anticipavamo la richiesta del Milan di abbasare intorno ai 10 milioni il prezzo del giocatore che adesso sembra davvero ad un passo dai rossoneri. Intan it comes to a discount of about 5 million Euros to be examined by Dragones Milan, thus confirming the rumors, denials first, collected by MilanNews where it anticipated the request of Milan Abbas around 10 million price of the player that now seems very a step by rossoneri."

brk the reason Milan isn't making a profit is because this Berlusconi actions and his sons miss management of the club. I pretty sure if Milan didn't spend cash on wasters like ronaldo redondo ronaldinho emerson and brochi all berlusconi signing that Milan would have saved 50 million euros and 26 million euros in wages. if the club sells a players it is the clubs money they developed the player they facilitated the player every day life and most importantly managed the players fitness. Football isn't a business it is sport it doesn't operate like any business in world and shouldn't be made to be profitable the best financial situation for any club it to make enough to cover cost and provide enough cash for transfers. Anyway if the management keep the money and don't invest in the team it is going to cost them more in the long run. the cash should be spent buying 4 or 5 young player who cost a maximum of 3 euros a season and can sold to provide cash for new signing. I worry for you if you think Football is about making huge profits margins
