It's like we are after Malouda...
I dont like him at all!!
If they are chasing Malouda and Dzeko, are we planning an attacking 4-2-3-1?

------------------------Dzeko-----------------------
-----Malouda----------Dinho-------------Pato-----
------------------Gattuso---Flamini----------------
--Cissokho---New CB---Nesta/Thiago---Zambro--

To me this is very attack-minded (love it), but for it to work, the defense needs major re-inforcement to take all the weight in the back.

it's funny that everybody is eating craps from goal.com... I do not believe anymore about Pirlo is leaving, Pato wants to leave, blah blah blah... Someone said that well before: we're being easy prey for media. Why? Because there are many people such as all of you who will believe anything they said, buying it, and then cursing your own beloved club because a 'fact' they wrote.

Sorry if I'm looking emotional. But we're here to support Milan, support when Milan is in peril, not attack it from inside...!!!

Well, I'm the most skeptical person here when it comes to the European football media (all a bunch of crap), but Silvio himself said on the Milan Channel that Pirlo might leave (he also said Pato would stay). So while I don't put much stock in what Silvio says either, I have to believe there's some chance Pirlo could be sold to Chelsea this summer.

To be fair, goal.com are spinning this story again, here's the whole story translated with google:

"There are figures in football who are pure madness, figures that no longer have any relationship to the normal economy, is beyond common sense and decency, can not say those figures there and I intend to do something respect, one thing has become unacceptable. "

"This year we have a great team, we could win last year but we have not won in the last few minutes because we lost all the points and we were wrong because the last few minutes should keep the ball"

"There is no problem with Ambrosini, he wants to extend for one year the contract vederemo. Pirlo We will see what it does, I hope that remains, I was the first to say this, but then I have also seen the accounts. Pato then you will have a great career extraordinary, I think we can replace Kakā in that role there, "concluded that Berlusconi has said that Ronaldinho then some" will do well this year. "

It is not only on goal.com. As Rick says, it was on Milanchannel, gazzetta etc. Our president is a professional liar. Now he complains about too much money in football. Remember, this is the man who got rid of collective negotiations for TV rights in Italy. The same man who came up with a payTV scheme that benefited his Milan.

What a hypocrite.

Real buy Kaka, Milan sell Kaka. And THEY are the mad ones?!? Come on...

http://www.goal.com/en/news/12/spain...ad-real-madrid

I think Real are the smart ones. There are a few players out there that you can't put a price on because they have so much PR value that you will always lose when selling them and always win when buying them. I rate Kaka, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo like that.

Dida and Kalac will most likely play the last year of their contracts at Milan, which I'm fine with, and then we're gonna need some replacements. Dida has been loyal to the club, and has been a proffesional, on his day he's world class, but I just wish he was a bit more consistent.
I'm not high on Kalac hanging around, but we probably don't have a choice as it's doubtful a youth GK can deliver if both Abs and Dida go down. If nothing else, he has experience in his corner.

Dida was fairly consistent in the playing time he received this term; not on Abs' level, of course, but it was a hell of a 180š from last season (three MoTMs can't be all that bad ). As a result he's our new, though unofficial, #1 again, as Abs is expected to miss all of training camp and preseason friendlies, and then there's rustiness from inactivity to deal with when he returns.

The real litmus test for D is if he can keep up this form through preseason into the new campaign.

I think this is how they're seeing the Pirlo situation.

He's 30. His value has probably reached the point where every year it will plummet until nobody is willing to buy him. This is the last summer where they can get a big money deal out of him, especially because Carlo has the cash and he loves him.

They can use the money to buy a similar player (Hernanes maybe) that is younger by 5 or 6 years. This means that the player can play 5 or 6 years with Milan and then be sold for a profit, or to pay back some of his cost. This is what United did with Ronaldo, and they're planning on doing it again and again. It's actually a good system.

any sale can be justified....sell them all
Who cares that he has done so much for us?
Who cares that we were promised that he won't be sold?
lies lies and more lies

We already did that with Kaka, you can't sell all your players in one summer even if you buy someone good to replace them. You can't change half of the team and expect results, time is needed for the players to gel with each other

Like I've said before: goal.com is NOT writing their own stories! Goal.com is a site that reads all the football websites, newspapers etc and writes what these sources say. They never intended to find out what was true or not, they just collects everything that is written so that you don't have to spend 10hours a day searching for the same articles. It's up to the reader to decide how much truth there is in a specific article.

If you only want reliable sources to what's happening with Milan, read La Gazzetta dello Sport. It's the most serious sports newspaper in Europe, and always have solid sources for their stories.

It's not selling Pirlo that is the only problem. The greater problem is that they don't look like they're going to replace him.

Also, we are not the only ones being bullied in the market it seems. Mascherano's agent came out and said, "in football anything can happen"...Maicon and Ibra are virtually out the door...Ronaldo is gone from United...Torres is linked with a transfer etc.

It seems that Real, Chelsea, and Barca are calling all the shots this summer.

Hmmm. He wasn't saying that when it was he who shattered the transfer record by spending an astonishing Ģ13mill in 1992.

Felipe Melo seemed very good today against Italy. I was specifically focused on him
Whoever buys him, will make a great deal, I tkink
