I haven't seen any official comments to suggest this. Maldini himself recently said Milan hadn't even spoken to him. As for working with Galliani, I've not heard anything about that (nothing substantial nor tentative). Could you provide adequate sources for both of these stories?

A lot of players seem to want us, which we get is another matter entirely.

Understand the mrki is piss, actually, I think he is being rational, instead of hoping for the best like a lot of people here.

Looking at the lineups that people had been putting up, at least 3 players are not Milan players yet. On top of that, most of people here are expecting Nesta to be 100% fit(I hope so too, but thats a far stretch) and be able to play full time, R80 recovers himself(eventhough I think he can), and guys like Pirlo, Seedorf, Kaladze will just began running and moving like a footballer on the pitch.

To me, thats a lot of IFs. The only sure thing is T. Silva playing well in defense. That will take pressure off the midfield and other defenders. But thats not nearly enough if you ask me.
If Milan do manage to sign 3 signings, Cissokho, Dzeko and CB/CM, we still unsure can guys like Cissokho and Dzeko can perform in Series A. Vargas was one of the best LB two seasons ago, but once he moved to a bigger club(Fiorentina), he was not as good. Gila is capable of scoring for Parma and Fioretina but could do it for Milan, there is a chance that Dzeko can be just like him.

JUst too many what ifs at the moment, on top of all that, Leo is unexp. And pls don't hope for Leo to be Pep in 09-10 as thats impossible without Kaka, Gourcuff and Maldini, since Pep actually have guys like Messi, Eto, Inesta, Xavi and Henry on his team.

NOt saying Milan will not do well...at it is only June and there is a way to go till the transfer is over, and I do have hopes on guys like Abate, De Gennaro and Polashi to be the next Donadoni, Neved and Pippo, but the odds are really against Milan. If the MGT don't smarten up and sign QUALITY players, this Milan team is not a team that can challenge anywhere. It will be very sad if Milan gets kick out of UCL in group stage.

A lot of Brazilians are being mentioned here.......I can understand that Conf Cup made us all drooling for Brazil but we can't sign so many of them.

Lol @ people dissing mrki that's my problem with this place too many kool aid drinkers. Instead of understanding his frustration people are laughing at him like he's some kind of bad news bearer. Anyway Nilmar is very good and has ronaldo-like skills and speed. Only one problem. He seems to be quite light/weak. He can get pushed off the call easily. That's his only weakness imho. + I think he has a passport

Dru, I don't think anyone is really dissing mrki for the fun of it. I think it could be just that his frustration is boiling over a bit, and its dampening everyone else's enthusiasm for our mercato, as well as our clubs future. No one wants to laugh at him, but when everything coming from him isn't even "glass half empty", but "glass smashed into tiny little pieces", well I have to admit that sometimes even I find it hard to empathies with him, regardless of how rational I may be.

No one wants to be stepped on a couple more times when they're already down mate.

That said, total for Mrki, even if I don't share his pessimism entirely
