5m for Santacroce is insane, if he was an Englishman playing in England he'd cost 20m! If it's really true, then we (and the rest of the world, really) should be going all-out to sign him.

As for the Fabregas-rumour I don't see him leaving as I'm sure he's in no hurry to do so (having only just been made captain), plus the with our lack of funds (a.k.a. Berlusconi's penny pinching) he'd be too expensive.

However if we really made an effort to buy him, I think we'd stand a good chance. Obviously if/when he leaves Barca would be the favourites, but as long as Xavi and Iniesta are both in such great form (and they are both a level above Cesc) would there even be a place for Fabregas? Would Iniesta accept being pushed permanently out on the left wing? I have my doubts on Fabregas fitting in at Barca, maybe when Xavi starts deteriorating, he could "succeed" him.

Also, I really don't see him moving to Madrid. His whole family, I think, are Barca supporters, so if he joined Real Madrid he'd be the most hated man in Catalunya since Figo (first for leaving to England for free, then for signing with the arch enemy). So that pretty much rules out the possibility of Fabregas going back to Spain in the very near future as the other clubs don't have the money. He wouldn't join another English club (surely?), so that basically leaves the Italian clubs. And as he said he prefers Milan, I think we'd have a good chance of getting him. However as it is, I can't see him leaving Arsenal (he's said so a million times).

Well, I am not going to comment on Cesc again as I made my points pretty clear, it is a pure fantasy for him to come.

As for Pirlo being sold for 25MIl, thats a great deal. That would actually make Milan perfect to play with 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1 or even 4-4-2 with Dinho on the left side.

Like I mentioned all the time, Pirlo is great but I really do think he needs to move to another club with players actually running to be effective.

Well, if Ferrara praises Santacroce this much, I think he would definitely join Juve then, not Milan.
Ferrara probably has a much better relationship with Napoli then Galliani.

Fabregas? I don't know...... to be honest, it's not that unlikely, but I doubt it.

People do you really think Santacroce will cost around 7 million, come on Napoli is a very smart club they now they have the next big thing in defence in their team,if somebody wants to buy Santa they have to fork out double of the mentioned figure,14 million or so.

Napoli is building a strong team, targeting good players and buying good ones like Zuniga, they have high expectations for next season and want to build a superteam, everybody knows that, this means they want to keep hold on Santa, not sell him to a big club in Italy for a cheap price....it doesnt make sense......We,Juve,Inter and maybe Roma can get him.But we have to pay at least 10 million.

As for Di Gennaro returning,he was our best player in the youth academy, scoring 18 goals, and then he was loaned out to Bologna where he had a good season then he had a decent one at Reggina, scoring a goal against Milan in San Siro, what i like about him is that he is versatile,he can play on the wing,as AM,or as CF.He also shows consistency in his play.I think he is a great prospect,he can be useful just like Abate(although Abate is more mature)and Albertazzi.

It seems like Dzeko-deal is more and more realistic,as he refused a contract extension and said he wanst to move to Milan,Wolfsburg will sell him i am sure about it,i think we will buy him for 25 million(we offer 20,they want 30,a compromis will be 25).

Pirlo is a great midfielder, one of the best, but 25 million for him is a brilliant deal,he will flop in England because he hasnt the phisique to play there, and Carlo will adopt a X-Mas tree formation with him around(haahahha poor Chelsea they dont now whats coming).

Fabregas isnt coming, just open youre eyes people and stop dreaming,he wants to stay at Arsenal and Arsenal dont want to sell him so end of story,Felipe Melo is the best option on the market,we should get him.

Still waiting on the Cissokho deal,i have hope but it seems its not going trough....

Welcome back.....

OFFICIAL: Davide Di Gennaro Rejoins Milan
Milan have announced that 21-year-old striker Davide Di Gennaro has returned to the club permanently after they purchased the remainder of his rights from Genoa...
27 Jun 2009 11:24:41

Davide Di Gennaro has returned to Milan after the club outbid Genoa to purchase the rest of his rights.

The 21-year-old joined the Grifoni on a co-ownership deal which saw Marco Borriello move to the San Siro last year. Di Gennaro spent the season on loan with Reggina and returned to Genoa after they were relegated. He has now been bought back by Milan who resolved the co-ownership deal they had with the Liguri via a blind auction.

A statement on the Rossoneri's official website reads:

"Owned by Genoa and Milan, even though he spent last term on loan at Reggina, Davide Di Gennaro returns to Milan.

"The Rossoneri take back the player after negotiations went to the envelope. Adriano Galliani announced the move and he also confirmed that Gianmarco Zigoni joined the club permanently."

The envelope, or blind auction is a method used by Italian clubs to decided the outcome of a player's future when he is co-owned by two clubs. Both clubs make a blind offer, put it in an envelope and it is submitted to the Lega Calcio who then open the envelope and whoever has bid highest retains the player. In this case, Milan were the highest bidders.

Galliani has revealed that he called Arsenal about Adebayor,if the Dzeko deals falls through, today or tommorow it will be clear whether we can get him or not,Ade will be our number 1 target.

Not happy about this IMO,Ade is a big striker but he needs 100 chances before he can score a goal,he also dissapears when he plays against big teams, because he isnt good enough to make it hard for quality CB's.Just look at the Arsenal-United game in C.League last season,Ferdinand and Vidic ate him alive....i would rather prefer Borriello to be our CF than him.

Huntelaar should be our second choice,i hope Arsenal want big cash so that the deal will spring off.

Nothing special to tell,he is Brazilian and defender i think,he wasnt good enough for Livorno and not good enough for Milan.Just lacks to be playing for a big club like Milan.

I think we will sell him or loan him out,i doubt Leo will use him.

Yes, we need a clinical hitman because that suits the style of Serie A. Adebayor as our no. 1 signing would be a nightmare! Might as well save the cash and use Boriello more. Perhaps Suarez?

I hope you dont mean Luis Suarez from Ajax, great great player but not the guy we are looking for,the guy isnt the type of striker we are searching,he is small and more a Pato type,he can play as a CF and he does that at Ajax but thats because they dont have a classic number 9 since Huntelaar left.He isnt the guy we are looking for.

And also look at the figures Ajax sold their stars to topclubs,Huntelaar for 27 million,Babel for 18 million,Sneijder for almost 30 million. They will force us to overpay for Suarez.

And about the player himself,he is a sneaky bastard IMO,he has a reputation as a diver here in Holland, even if someone makes a foul on him he doesnt get a penalty because the refs dont believe him anymore, his stile of play is disguisting really,if i watch him i want to beat the crap out of him.Dont want to see that guy near Milan,he has a Inter mentality if you know what i mean

thats beyond ridiculous you have no idea how loyal catala born players are loyal to the state and club, especially with all the political things going on a daily basis, its another Euskadi (the vasko country) my friend who lives right outside milano, told me he drove to barcelona in his car, that means its way closer than England to Barca, so he's easily closer to his family oh and if we do sell pirlo i doubt berlusconi will pocket 110 million? (Kaka,Yoann,Pirlo - assuming hes worth 30 mill -) and not sign anybody he's not a good person but i doubt he's a bastardo, we would go for him for the simple fact he would be affordable think about it? 20 - 30 million for a physically CAM who can hold the ball? if arsenal are asking less than 40 million then its more than possible Arsenal would sell anything almost Arsene if the price was right, also haven't you people learn anything when kaka' moved it shows you that if the price is right anybody is gone

In the article from the official Milan site yesterday it sounded to me as though Luis Fabiano would be next in the pecking order after Dzeko, then Adebayor and possibly Huntelaar.

Quote:

Quote:
Other statements, from Edin Dzeko: 'It is a Wolfsburg player - is at pains to point out Adriano Galliani - and I prefer not to comment. Certainly, if I call the Wolfsburg I shot. He has expressed and I believe will continue to give desire to come and play in Milan. From old director of football, I say that it is hard to keep players unwillingly, but each is considered as better. We still at this time just try a bit. Dzeko is the first objective. Luis Fabiano could become a target, if we do not reach Dzeko. Luis Fabiano as other attackers, because instead on defenders and midfielders us still. Adebayor? It could be an alternative. I had the other day, a cordial discussion with Arsene Wenger and we said that we we would be again if there were conditions. "
And then he went on to mention an understanding with Madrid over players and something about Huntelaar.

Now you slowly see what Galliani is doing. He has no control over serie a mercato at all. Only player we can buy are players we own already.

Santacroce is a billiant palyer. I've been saying that for whole year. ciro Ferrara knows what he is talking about. PATO said Santacroce is the best Cb he played against in seire a,

But we are unable to sign anyone due to Galliani's lack of work and disgusting behaviour in past years.
Now, surprise, surprise, Galliani says Milan's goal is to finish top 3 in serie a and play well in CL. Now we are a club that doesnt even go for 1st place in everything, we know that this team is laughable right now.
I've read a post on gazzetta.it from some italian that calculated the ammount of money Milan will make with the sales of Kaka', Pirlo, Yoan + wages that we have cutten off + wages from Sheva, Emerson etc. Its more then 155mln euro!! 155 mln.
Now they create super saga over a player that is not on the same level with Kaka' by ANY standard and that is probably the same class as Huntelaar ( who is brilliant ). But people get obsessed with shiny headlines.

Its really sad to see the way people look at things. To be precise, the way people dont see anything. You say Kaka' is not Milan, Sheva is not Milan. But, Silvio is also not Milan! What he is doing now is an embarrasment to all real Milan fans, making us a 2nd class team by selling history in papers.

Pirlo, according to telelombardia, will be sold for 25mln. Aguess we can expect 15mln signing in Mello or something. While we should be investing 80-90mln in our team, which is normal after so much sales.

You all thing Dzeko will solve everything and score 30 goals to make us win scudetto. While in reality Milan doesnt even care about the scudetto but only abouzt money now.
Why do you think players want to leave?? They dont like the city of Milano? Its becouse they know this team is done and they do not want to fight for 3rd place again(=Pato).
