this is a forum about AC Milan. Personal elements are not involved in my statemants about EVENTS IN MILAN. I, right now, dont have any kind words for what is heppening in the club. Same as I didnt have for the way Ancelotti behaved for example. That is the way I will express myself becouse that is the way I feel about those things in MILAN. Those who dont like it - they can migrate.
I am not on vacation. To be on vacation you have to actually work. My life is a long vacation since Im a student and for past 4 and a half years Im only studying for the exams. The fact that right now Im on the sea and not in my city and Im typing on the laptop and not on my home comp. doesnt mean I have to be happy about events in Milan ( which are sad ). We can talk about beauties of music, art, the sea, whatever. But we talk about Milan. And, I try to talk the TRUTH, not pretty fantasy. Which some cant stand. Example: I tell a poster Maldini refused to work with Galliani and he doesnt want to believe it... I look like a party breaker. In fact, its just him who cant stand the fact. And Dzeko and Grafite: Grafite was A BETTER player then Dzeko for Wolfsburg. A club like Milan needs to go for Aguero after selling Kaka'. But people dont look at the football games, they read papers. In any case, Dzeko has potential. But when you look at Sheva at the age of 23, KAka' at 23, and you look at Dzeko now, you'll see why Sheva won godlen ball and why Dzeko never will.

).Dzeko isn't a natural like Pato, Messi etc. but he would offer us something different (he's like 9ft tall and YOUNG). My only two concerns are: his price tag (again, 30m is an awful lot) and the fact that he'll take the - likely - last remaining non-EU spot. We'll I have other concerns, too, but they're the same I have for all new/potential signings (= adaption etc.). Last edited by Ceceves; 27-06-2009 at 10:21. |

Poor mrki, he is just stating whats in his mind. Give the guy a break.
I am pretty sure most of us if not all are fed up with what the MGT are doing. I also think what Brasilerio said something that a lot of us failed to notice, that is how good is Dzeko. To be honest, I do trust Brasilerio eyes for talent. As he is always one of the first to tell us who is the real deal from Brazil and always right. NOt being negative and all, but I do hope the MGT be 100% sure Nesta can play well next year. To me a professional player just can't pick up where he left off after a one year layoff. Guys, it took Jordan half a season to get back at where he was, while he actually stayed active, playing pro baseball and was not injured. To me it is just very naive to think Nesta can just come back. |

This forum has a lot of negativity...Like i read before, this forum has affected people because what people say here get on them....we haven't even started our campaign and pple are saying we're be in black like read above...really bad...This forum has negative thoughts....Transfer market hasn't even open'd...we'll still get players...we need to think bout being positive...pple say we're old they complain, they bring in young players they still complain...what else do u need? we aren't real madrid...Yes we still have money to spend but there's still time...if by middle of next month or towards d end of next month no major signings been made then we can start complaining.....I'm positive wiv everything going on...God forbid, even if it won't be as successful as now don't ruin it for us way before the season has even started...Dzeko is our main target...should be get him quickly, we'll move for other targets...we're tryna get Dzeko first before we make a major move for other targets i believe...lets hope for the best...

Yes, Dzeko is probably the best off ball young target man out there. Heck, I want to see what he can do in Milan too. But the thing is that when Milan were THE TEAM a few years back, they did not have a true target man and they won the league. To me, it is more than a target man that Milan need, they need to take care of the midfield and defense, as guys like Seedorf, Kaladze, Ambro, Oddo even Bonera, Janku and Pirlo are really the concern. Seedorf, whether you like it or not will demand a starting spot next season, unless Abate, Di Gennaro come out firing, Seedorf will be starting. Pirlo, if Milan don't sell him, will also be starting. The last starting midfield 3 will be Gattuso, I love his passion and drive but he is too one dimensional for a midfield 3 role. Flamini will be move to RB as Zambro will move to the left(assuming Cissohko and Santos deal won't happen), even if they come, I doubt they can cover the flank better than Flamini. If Nesta is fit, then the CB pairing will be an upgrade from this past season with him and T. Silva. WIth R80 playing behind 2 strikers(Pato and Borreillo/Dzeko), it should provide about the same offensive numbers or maybe abit better than last season. Even with the two new signings, Cissohko and Dzeko, I don't see Milan being a much different team than this past year as their midfield will still remains one of the less mobile midfield in Europe. |

mrki, you're making some really illogical and frankly absurd extrapolations. What do you mean look at Kaka and Shev at 23? They're not machines. Everyone is different. You really don't make any sense.

But just to clarify, Iīm not asking for Grafitti here...as I said, a good player but just a journey man in Brazil. What I did was to use Grafitti as a example to analize Dzeko level. And to avoid future misunderstood, one more time, I donīt want Grafiti playing for Milan. Last edited by Brasileiro; 27-06-2009 at 10:44. |

I think that by the end of the market, we will have made 3 major signings. Dzeko, Aly and CM if Pirlo leaves (i'll assume it's Felipe Melo for now). I am also assuming that Ronaldinho regains some of his pace and will work harder, seeing as how its a World Cup season. This would mean that our starting eleven would look something like this. ----------------Dida Zambro---Nesta---Thiago Silva---Aly -------Gattuso-----Flamini --------------Felipe Melo --------------------Ronaldinho --------Pato ----------------Dzeko 2010: -------------Marchetti ???------???------Thiago Silva---Aly --------???-----Flamini ------------Felipe Melo --------------------Ronaldinho ----------Pato ----------------Dzeko Of course, the ??? can be youth players that make the step up, or new signings. I'm just trying to show that in two years, we will have disposed of all the dead weight in the team. You can't just chuck everything out all at once. People have contracts that have to be respected. Signing them might have been a mistake, but we're stuck with them. You can't sell someone if no one is willing to buy (Oddo, Kala, Seedorf, Dida, etc). We have to keep them until they leave by themselves (Emerson, Rui Costa) or when they reach the end of the contract. There's no point in crying over spilled milk. The situation is what it is. Kaka is gone. Leo is now the boss. We have to think about how we can move forward, and not stand around and fight about how we got here. We must all BELIEVE IN THE DINHO.

Well, did I say anything about Milan is not going to change.
What I said was even with the two apparent, Cissohko and Dzeko, signings, this Milan team will not be that much different than this past season. I am assuming Pirlo staying and starting for Milan, will that be a surprise to anyone? IS Gattuso not a one dimensional player, if you say that he is a two way midfielder than thats your opinion. If there is no new Midfield signings, do you think Seedorf will not be starting? I said that Cissohko or Santos will not be a huge upgrade to Flamini on the flank as Flamini covers the flank as well as anyone I had seen over the past few years. Or was I wrong in that judgement. Did I not state that with Dinho behind the two strikers-Pato and Borreillo/Dzeko, the offense will be the same or better than this past season. That actually means Dinho filling Kaka's shoes or even bettering Kaka. Also, I really don't see how your 2009 lineup is that much different than what I said, beside switching Melo to Pirlo, to me a huge downgrade offensively but Melo is a more complete midfielder, he should fill Seedorf's role though, having Flamini playing in midfield instead of Seedorf and having Cissohko on the flank, which is about the same as having Flamini playing the flank. BRk, i respect you and I think some of your comments are right to the point, but I really don't like it when people read what in their minds about others instead of reading what others had to say. |

To have an objective to finish amongst the top 3 is frankly disgusting. If Galliani had any decency (he doesn't) he would get the hell out of this club. We love this club, but we must prepare ourselves for a decade of mediocrity. The collective TV rights comes into effect next year, which means Milan will not be able to compete with the big teams in Europe, including Bayern Munich. Stadium ownership in Italy is not going to sort itself out anytime soon because there is this attitude of sweeping everything under the carpet in Italy. The only saving grace would have been Berlusconi, who does not want to spend anymore. So anyone who thinks we will be the force we were in Europe is deluding themselves. We have to love this club no matter what, but we have to realize that we are not a serious force now in Europe. We can win the Scudetto for sure, but that will be despite Galliani not because of him. Honestly, maybe it's the kind of person I am, but I never settle for anything less than the best in my work. So hearing this amongst the top 3 crap is nauseating. I read that article in Gazzetta also (the money savings one), and quite why Milan cannot spend the money on a defender like Santacroce is beyond my comprehension. It really is. y'all need to knock it off mrki - afterall this is a forum to talk about milan...and mrki you as well need to chill down...even having sex with Eva Mendez in the same position can get boring after the 20th time (ok maybe 2000th time)...so imagine how people would feel when you keep reminding them of how hopeless and crap their team is... chill bro.
and it is quite sad that I read someone say we will have 3 major signings this summer - Dzeko, Cissokho, Melo. Major signings.......what has Milan come to..... and i also agree with Brasiliero that Dzeko is not that great of a player, and mrki makes quite good sense when he compares Dzeko at his current age to Sheva and Kaka at the same age. However - I don't think there are any other better players out there available within reach. He has a strong desire to come to Milan and we must go for him (20m sounds good enough, even though that by itself is quite alot for one good season). People here keep dwelling about Kaka, but to me the biggest biggest loss was Gourcuff...but hey let's stop crying about spilt milk before we get ![]() Selling Pirlo seems to be a very good possibility these days... this will be the biggest mistake (even though I haven't liked Pirlo in recent years, but still he is important)..I dont think our management are that stupid, I think the only reason they gonna sell Pirlo is if they have some ace up their sleeve. I'll cross my fingers and hope that is one Spaniard from London. We will rise again...but not with this kind of transfer policy. Forza Milan! |
