One of the key factors to be a successful defender is to be consistent at your job. You don't have to be the greatest talent ever, but you must perform at a consistent level to be successful. Well, I've heard the news and hope it's true. Quote:

The other argument is, we have to remember that a lot of good players in our side were originally brought in as players with high potential with few guarantees. Kaka, Pato, Pirlo and Rino are some examples. The hope is really to try and build a side with signings like these that would effectively gain world recognition, similar to Kaka's rise in football. This whole Pato affair is leaving me rather concerned, not so much that I think he'll leave, but with the way things are going Italian football will simply be unable to hang onto players of his calibre these days. Essentially, the country would end up like the dutch league, where talent often sprouts but then swiftly moves away for more success. Calciopoli effectively ruined Italian football as a product, and it's since then we see Italian football increasingly going downhill. First and foremost, Italian football MUST change it's image. Holliganism, violence, old fashioned facilities and the reputation for dull football must be changed. This would essentially be changing Italian football as a product, modernizing it so that it is a more appealing product to the modern consumer. The other area the Italian game MUST change is it's ability to compete as a footballing nation. A few years ago the Italian game was regularly competing at the top levels in Europe, and so this kept the Italian product relatively competitive as the quality of the football couldn't be denied. These days, especially in Europe, the Italian game isn't competing and this has resulted in a less appealing product, as Italy as a footballing nation will be perceived to be weaker. Italian clubs can't get all the stars, so they must make their own stars with potentially great signings and youth systems. If they compete at a footballing level, then as a product Italian football can progress. |

O and one more thing,i agree with the contract extension of Favallinho, truth is that after Maldini he was our most solid CB,he did great and proved many of you wrong i remember. So i think he deserved it and if he is only our fifth backup IMO,what if we get a huge injury disaster in defence next year? Then we will be happy to have a decent and experienced CB in Favalli for Serie A.

Stupid damn management,we could have already made two quality additions to our team for free if they just would have been interested in Milan and cared...we could have already snapped up Eboue for RB and Lugano from Fener for the CB position(as backup for Silva and Nesta)for nothing......but it seems Berlu and CO are more interested in young girls with only underpants on than Milan...to bad.

While I do agree with the others, but they all showed great potentials, at least more than wht Dzeko and Cissohko had shown. NOw I am not against them coming, but like I said, they should be treat as bare minimum, esp since Milan sold Kaka and Gourcuff, and we as fans should not be over the hill of joy for those signings. What makes me wonder is that, how come Berlu and Galli do not use those parties as a recruiting tool for players. I am pretty they will come for free, or maybe they have been doing that, or guys like Dzeko, Cissohko, G. Rossi and others would not say, I would love to play for Milan. |

Dont want a Arab at Milan even though i love to see Berlu being kicked out.
There is only one reason i dont want a big hotshot being the boss of Milan:the guy will spend alloooooooooooooooooooooooooot of money on Milan meaning that players who gave their all will be pushed out of the picture(Rino,Pippo,Nesta,Ambro etc.)Our team will change every mercato, topplayers will be signed and after a year they will leave or they will rot on the bench(look at Chelsea...)I dont want our team to change each summer drastically, and that will happen if a rich guy will take over at Milan.People like Abate who deserve a change will only be able to dream of the bench. |

Adebayor is crap, needs like 1000000 chances to score one goal....and he cant compete with any good CB like for example Ferdinand or Vidic,he can only score against the smaller teams, but who will do the job in C.League?Ade is good for Serie A not in Europe....

I don't think that's true.
And he's still young, while experienced. Unlike Dzeko, who is a total mystery. |

Yes, with one of those Arab owner, Milan might end up with a strike force of Drogba, Pato, Villa and Pippo. If Pippo is performing well, he will start over the other three or vice versa. If you are on the bench, it only means you are not good enough to play in the starting 11. I would rather see that than to have someone who really should not be on the team playing all the time. |

If Ade costs 35mil and Villa is at 40 and Benzema is at 45. The money should be spend on Benzema period.
