It is impossible to know what would happen IF we had another owner.

No point in discussing that.

Just stay on topic, guys.

I hope we get him,we should have gone for him in the first place IMO,he is a proven WC-Striker,he is really the younger version of Van Nistelrooy,i hope we end up with Huntelaar!

So it looks like he was using Milan just to get a better contract from Wolfsburg.

Never mind, just a one hit wonder anyway...Adebayor is a better player overall.
He's not my first choice, but I think Adebayor could be a fantastic player in Serie A. It's true he's not a great finisher, but he creates a lot of chances with his strength and athleticism. He's coming off a bad season (for him) and so now is probably the best time to get him. He was outstanding two years ago and his best days are probably still ahead of him.

Two years ago some posters on this forum were wanking themselves crazy over wanting Milan to buy Huntelaar, so I suppose they would be happy.

I agree, he would be a good purchase. Hopefully Galliani mentioned his name to Perez while tearing up Kaka's contract.

I would prefer Clichy over Sissoko as he has played at high levels for awhile now.
i Know vargas has Serie A experience, but talent wise, at this momoent i think clichy is better, but if vargas is considerably cheaper then yes, i would go after vargas ASAP.

Dutchie, like I said, if they are good enough, they will play.
IF the strike force ends up being Drobga, Villa, Benzema, and Aguero. Then guys like Borreillo and Pippo will either work harder or pack their bags. Since at this moment, I don't think any team will buy them. IF the new owner can bring in players who are better than Nesta, Dinho, Pirlo or any other players, whats wrong with starting them. Being loyal to players(some can't perform at high level anymore) is one of the factors that forced Milan to sell Kaka and Gourcuff.

To me, if there is a new owner who is willing to spend and makes the team competitive, thats awesome b/c he/she actually cares.

As for giving chances to players like Dinho and others, they had their fair share of chances, now lets give chances to those new players.

But no point talking about it, as Berlu is still the owner.

Watch Galli comes out in Sept and states that Milan got the target man and thats Zigoni, and as T. Silva will be playing and Flamini playing in RB. Milan is a much better team than last season and managed to fill all the weak points......

That will be funny as hell if it happens.

Some very anxious people at MM.. everyone's posting long.

I agree with Hasan than Serie A is generally going down from where it once stood. Clubs in this league are becoming increasingly unattractive for talented players. It hurts to see how this league pales in comparison to the other big two. If Milan had been Chelsea, Dzeko wouldve been here already. Big players don't generally want to come here anymore (Diego knew beforehand this is where he wanted to be so his case is a little different).

I'm hoping we don't sell Pirlo or any other big player. Galliani isn't impressing and if Pirlo leaves, we're sure as hell not going to replace him with Fabregas. D'agostino is the best Milan will be able to get and he wont be cheap (Juve's recent bid wasn't big enough.. i reckon he'll be around 20m).

I'd rather take a mystery and a pretty damn talented one (wasnt Pato one?) than a proven overrated, cheating, money grubbing twunt. After one over-rated season, his true colours were out last season. He may score many goals but we musn't forget he plays for Arsenal who create a million chances in most games. Plus he plays in EPL which is such an open league. I hope anyone vouching for him has seen his play.. it's like watching a baby learn how to kick a football. (Van Persie could score twice as many as him if he could stay fit). He's a step down for Milan and his acquisition would mean that the club is definitely not a top club anymore (even domestically).

I hope we can look back at this day and laugh at Mrki but I'm afraid he's more likely to have the last laugh.

Warro - Your call for calm was much needed but is it possible with this climate at the club?

I can't find any source that says Dzeko has officially renewed his contract. Can anyone confirm this?

Even on Wolfsburg's site not a word about it.

Poster of the information, please provide us with the source.

Well...goal.com appears to have an article that quotes Dzeko as saying "I'm staying with Wolfsburg even though I wanted to go to Milan"

I read it here: AC Milan will no longer pursue Wolfsburg's Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko. The German club officials rejected all offers and convinced Dzeko to stay by renewing his contract until June 2013 and increasing his annual salary from 1 million Euros to 3 millions. .... In the meantime, Dzeko told local media sources : "I am staying at Wolfsburg, but I am not happy about it because I wanted to join AC Milan".

It is on transfermarketweb,i already looked also on the Wolfsburg site but there is no information there, only TWB are metioning it,on Tuttomercatoweb Galliani is saying that he is dissapointed at the fact that Dzeko is staying but that he will wait untill next week before he search a new target or something.

I am also confussed....

Dutchie, what do you think about Afellay?

Also last year i remember that Ajax wanted to buy Seedorf. Do you know if they are still after his services?
