In a way, yes.

I am not 100% sure now, but I remember a few years back, Real actually had a 280Mil debt or something. All they did was sold some land(their trainning facilities ground and such) to the City Council for about 290Mil. Then they are no longer in debt.

Star players:Maicon 50% of leaving,Ibra staying.

Milan In:Abate,Di Gennaro

OUT: Kaka,Gorky Pirlo maybe

Star Players:Kaka Gone,Gorky Gone,Pirlo maybe going.

Look at the players Inter got and we got, they got 2 great players whom one of them scored a lot of goals, and the other one(Motta)is a doubt, while we got 2 unproven youth players!!!

They have two star players in their team, the will MAYBE sell one and Ibra is staying. We are selling all our star players.....

Inter is doing better just confes it.

why why why... since when Gorky is our star player... and Ibra staying 100% is BS because Kaka' said he is 100% Milan and we saw what was happened.

and what is your point?

my point is clear: it's hurt to see others (Milan fan) praising other teams, even more, RIVAL teams, here in this forum. okay we do need to be objective, but I cannot accept that we are praising other teams MORE, MORE OFTEN than our own team...

It is not praising mate, it is admiring in JEALOUSY. Everyone one of us hates Inter, but Milan can't afford to live in the past anymore. Yes, it is true; Inter, Juve and even Genoa have already acheived great transfers so far. And Milan?

It is not that we like other clubs, it is us fans are frustrated that our beloved team is failing to act. I mean, what have we to praise about in the last two seasons? Yes, being a Milan fan means that we have naturally high expectations. I am sure you know that.

Inter, Juve, and Napoli have all made good moves in the transfer market. All 3 of these teams has less concerns at the moment than Milan also (Kaka, Gourcuff sold; Maldini retiring; Nesta, Borriello injury question)

What is Milan going to do with it's money from the big sales? Small, cheap purchases. 15m for a good LB is too much now. 30m for Dzeko? No way, Milan is a small team now.
Brocchi baby, here we come. Where are you Panucchi? Vieri?

I won't praise milan mgmt because for the past few YEARS the transfer policy has sucked *ss big time.

That said, whatever players don the AC Milan kit, I will support them but that doesn't mean I'm going to sit here and kiss the bottoms of Milan mgmt (including Milan labs) because they have all been terrible.

A bit harsh there, but very true. Lets look at the massive b*tch of a problem we now have, and look to fix it, rather than dwelling on our past successes.

I don't think Milan said that 15 million for a good LB is too much, they agreed on the transfer in fact, however when the medical came out that there was a problem that could spell problems in the future, then Milan asked for a lower price (as they should have) but with Porto refusing and being unprofessional about the issue, the deal broke down.

Dzeko is not worth 30 million, I agree with that. He is closer to 20, and that is where Milan probably has their bid at. Wolfsburg, of course want to keep him and if they let him go, they think Milan has plenty of money (which we do) but we want to make sure we are not taken advantage of, so we talk about how finances are hard at the club and we have problems (aw, poor us) and that way we can talk about how a few million here or there would really be the difference maker for us.

Has anyone had to bargain for something before? That's all this is, just on a complex level involving newspapers, haha.

I agree.
Panucci is yet to extend his contract. Maybe we can get him!

NOt going to comment on Gourcuff and Ibra.

But what some fans here are posting are facts.

Napoli, Inter, Genoa, Juve, and even Fiorentina and Roma have a plan, while Milan does not.

Napoli got Zuniga, Cirgani and Quad with almost everyone staying except for Flash, but as of now Flash is still their player.
Inter have Motta and Milito coming in with Figo retiring. I actually won't be surprise if Hernanes end up at Inter by Sept.(not rumors just something that Morretti would do to piss Milan off.)
Genoa lost MIlito and Motta but they actually got Aqca and Floccari as replacements.
Juve lost Nedved to retirement but with Givinco maturing, the the signings of Canna and Diego, they are a stronger team.
Fiorentina did just enough to get into the CL, while some of their players really began to gel, they will be a better team next year even without any new signings.
Roma signed Motta already and with no CL, they will concentrate on the League. Rumors about them looking for a cheap, and exp striker, nomatter who they sign, just remember that the last time they signed an old exp striker, they won the league that year. On top of that, they have a chance to sign Mancini back.
As for us, T. Silva is the only signing sofar, but Kaka and Maldini are gone.

Those are facts for now. Even if Milan sign Cissohko, Dzeko, Hernanes, and Zapata, I still that will be enough for Milan to finish top 4 but not enough to win anything.

It is very unfair to say Porto is being unprofessional about the Cissohko transfer. Like Milan they have the right to reject deals too.

As for Dzeko. Well, is he worth 30mil, hell no, I don't even think he is worth 18mil. But the fact is, thats the price tag Wolfs has on him. Just like Kaka pricetag was 65mil. Galli can neg all he wants with the Wolfs, but the fact is that Wolfs has every right to say 30mil or no deal, as they don't really want to sell Dzeko.

Don't even joke about that as he is the typical Galli's signings.

Free, exp, can play multiple positions, won a lot(Series A, CL, World Cup....).

And next thing you know, Pannucci and Toni will be playing for Milan.

Then some of us here will start saying, they are ONLY short term solutions, and they will play their hearts out as it is a WC year......

And since Lucio scored a header last night, some of us will also be saying Lucio is a good signing and it is much better than getting Zapata or Santacroce.

Do you think that the Mr.X young player who will join Milan is Beretta?

Corriere dello Sport is saying:

A baby Milan is born with Zigoni and Beretta.

I doubt either of these players could make a serious impact on Milan for the next two seasons!

Yes it is true, but looks like Milan are going to built a strong base of youth players as Lidholm did before.

NOt trying to be negative but thats what CLUBS do year in and year out.

Look at ManU and their youths, most of them were bought when they are 16 and products of other clubs.
Look at Juve, even Inter got bought youth all over the place.

Esp Juve in a few years, three of their back four will be Italians, and two will most likely be starting for the National team, then there are also Marchiso, Machionni, and Givinco.

Spot on there! Only now Milan is starting! We should invest more in our youth system than anything else, as it is below par comparing to other teams in the world.
