WEll, just one comment about Kaka, Pato, Cissohko and Dzeko.
I think Kaka and Pato were more talented and then the other two.

Kaka had been playing well and to show that he actually have great potential, he was selected into the Brazil 2002 WC squad at 17, although he did not play a single minute, but he did beat out the likes of Robino, JB, RO, Fabaino and others. It shows that he is indeed has a great future ahead of him. Ronaldo was also chosen into the 1994 WC squad at 17 without playing a minute too.

Pato was 16 turning 17 playing in a pro league and dominating, Dzeko is 22 and had been playing pro football for a while. On top of that Dzeko is physically bigger than Pato, and yet Pato was the one that clubs wanted even before he signed with Milan. While as of now, Dzeko is only being link with Milan.
Cissohko, I would say is great, love his speed and love his power down the flank. Actually I do think Cissohko is a sure bet my problem is that if Flamini is willing to play the flank, I don't think CIssohko is much of an upgrade, as Flamini really did well covering the flank.

The 29 year old striker is not a problem, he is clearly capable of playingfor 2-3 years at top phisical level. For big clubs its important to have a good squad now.

Of course that means you need to insert few younger players to refresh the dinamism of the team, which Galliani is incapable to do unless he has no founds to pay old players so he buys young ones with 1-2 mln wages.

Also, fax to Wolfsburg is not enough. Galliani never even went there, self amused boldie is staying in Milanlo doing nothing as usual.

When a team sells golden ball player, its normal they already have the next player, and not to search like morons and adore a godd but pretty normal ( not absolute class )forward from Wolfsburg. Its like we are trying to sign Torres or Drogba roght now, and not Dzeko.

Its good we sign young italian players, but that needs to be a normal thing, not a super surprise we should all be happy about. And they only started to do so once they were out of the money.

I dont have faith in Boriello. He is a normal CF that can play well in Genova, he never did anything in Milan. To change him for some player and bring Huntelaar is a real solution for us.

Gabriel: I think Flamini will play the dinamic DM in the middle, that is why we'll sell Pirlo most likely.

I actually don't mind playing Flamini as DM or RB or LB, as long as he plays in the starting 11.

it is unfair IMO to compare Kaka' with Dzeko and Cissokho. it's just like saying our targets now are worse year by year, which I don't mind if you said that at the previous summer mercato.

oh and FYI you could read everywhere in English media that Arsenal, Spurs, and Man $hitty are chasing Dzeko (I read about one month ago). and Flamini would be a waste if he doesn't play in his strongest position.

Well, in a way, Milan targets are worse year by year.

As for Dzeko being link to EPL, well I have not read that at all. R they serious link or just rumors.

I don't see how you could have avoided it only a few weeks ago. He was linked all over the place with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City. And his agent admitted to serious interest from Arsenal.

Quote:
“It is not realistic for Dzeko who is a leading player in Germany and due to perform in the Champions League to opt for an average club like Manchester City. Arsenal is the other case. We will discuss their offer seriously” Redžepagić said while in Germany.

“I will talk over the weekend with Edin and we will see what is best for him. On Monday it is back to the negotiations with Wolfsburg” said Redžepagić.
The reason he's only being linked with Milan now is because he decided he wanted to move to Milan and not the other clubs, so Arsenal and the others turned their attentions elsewhere.

Luis fabiano is a very good striker, no doubt about that. but in our current situation we cant buy a 29yo striker for 30m! only financial strong teams should do such things as your investment will only last for 3-4 years, after that you again need to splash a big amount of money to replace him! while with a striker like dzeko we are set for 10 years.

I don't think there will be a lot of moves for the current week as most of the players are now in holidays (and no move with the Italian players from the NT because they were in South Africa). But I think in one week, everything will start to become interesting, anyway, I hope it will be interesting for us ...

for some of the people confused here: Huntelaar isn't a Dzeko alternative, he isn't a physical type of player. Huntelaar is a Nistelrooy type poacher.

That's why none of the top clubs are interested in him. Italian clubs are the only ones that use poachers heavily.

Interesting, it's also on acmilan.com, so I guess it's official. So Giacomo Beretta is going straight to the first team as a 17 year old, at least according to Galliani's earlier comments? Impressive, especially at a club like ours.

Well, Pato isn't much older, so you never know. My guess is he'll be loaned out for a season or two, but we'll see.
