If milan continue to play the waiting game, all good players will be lost and we'd end up at the second half of the serie a table next season. The last time we played this waiting game, we missed out Ibrahimovic for Oliveira, not exactly something I look forward to seeing happening again this summer.
If it is a sellers' market then why should Milan put itself in an even worse position by forcing itself to buy when it can wait out?

Sure, right now, many fans will be irate. However, they will forget it very quickly once the signings come.

Furthermore, Ronaldinho did not sign for Milan until mid-July. All the rather routine signings, Zambrotta, Boriello, Flamini, were all done and dusted by the end of May. Guess what? Milan has gotten our signings, with Beretta and Zigoni to be future players and Abate and Di Gennaro brought in. Cissoko should have joined our ranks, but unfortunately it seems it will take a little longer.

With regards to Dzeko, after what Kaka did to Milan, I'm not sure if I really believe what is coming out of the camp. I guess I know what it is like to be a Real fan, and frankly I don't like it. Granted, it has not been a drawn-out process, but the difference is that Dzeko has said it has been his dream for Milan.

Anyways, I don't see the point of complaining or being impatient. We have no control of the situation. I am glad, however, that fans are not buying Milan season tickets. I am not going to buy Milan gear until the team is given the necessary upgrades it needs.

I just want to highlight that, I too, am as frustrated as you are. It is so annoying having to listen to transfer rumors and then official acquisitions of seemingly every club but my own. However, I will try and sit tight and just wait for the club to prove my pessimistic side wrong.

Dzeko wont come, after Kaka left us suddenly every poster here except me takes a NO from other clubs not for granted, its official now: Dzeko stays.

If there is a chance of Dzeko coming to Milan then Milan has to be interested in Dzeko, wich they arent, after the Dzeko confirmed his staying in the Bundesliga Milan has probably moved forward.

Its over he wont come.

Sorry but you just cant compare a good right back as Zambro, one of the best defensive midfielders like Flamini, and a Borriello who scored 19 goals with some youth players....Those players you mentioned who we signed last year are adding something to our first team, while those youth players are adding something to our......Primavera.

So its not like Galliani did the half of his job and everybody is still waiting for a big signing as a grand final.....we are still at the beginning.

And also where those players signed very quickly last year....oh ye i remember:

Flamini was for free so its very easy to sign him,all we did was offer him more salary then Juve....

Zambrotta came together with Dinho and not earlier.

We owned Borriello.

All simple transfers. The MGT still has a lot work to do,they didnt do anything!

Actually:

Zambrotta came separate from Roanldinho, "On May 31, 2008, Zambrotta signed a 3-year contract with A.C. Milan."

While Ronaldinho arrived around July 16th.

Plus, we co-owned Borriello and had to give them 10 million plus half of Di Gennaro.

So, frankly speaking, I'm going to wait. Each transfer season is different, and with the amount of work that Milan has cut-out for itself, I do not like the approach, but then again, I (and all of us here) should be used to this approach by now.

Galliani can't take another poor year and he knows it. I hope that Milan fans stay and do not buy season tickets and please, if you are fan, just wait until they do something before you buy the new jersey. It might sound stupid, but every little thing we do affects the club, but that is every little thing we do not say.

So Dzeko's not coming to Milan? That should be great for everyone, right? I mean half of this board is talking about Dzeko like he's crap and that Huntelaar is the greatest striker to ever live, but now that there is a chance to get him, let's just talk about how Huntelaar really isn't worth the money and we'll just keep spinning our wheels. Great.

If Galli and Berlu want to get as much coin out of the club they can then they should spend 60 - 80 million on new players have a decent season and a real crack off the CL because the Cl is winnable its always so unpredictable.

Because selling a top European club that won or came close to the scudetto and CL is a much better sell than a midtable club stripped of its most valuable assets and with no future.

Again how can Man Utd , Liverpool , Arsenal , Chelsea , Real , Barca , Munich , Lyon , Juve , Inter , Roma all operate in massive massive debt especially the EPL teams with no hassle and we are signing pre pubescent boys to replace the best player in the world Kaka ( I BELONG TO JUDAS) It just makes no sense.

Berlu is the big problen he's a self serving ego maniacal son of a b1tch , and should sell or invest I mean its not as if we expect 5 or 6 80 million signings my god all we want 2 or 3 15 - 20 million players that will add to the team.

Our play has become so slow and predictable and now we don't even have the injection of pace of Kaka , the team is seriously screwed next year Pirlo cant run in a red and black jersey Zambrotta has lost his pace Rino will always try and run his lungs off Pippo cannot play until March the 1st Ambro I have never ever rated ever club captain what a joke.

We really really need a CB a LB an AM and a good fast mbile young striker , hell we actually need more but that would do now and it should cost about 60-70 million if Pirlo goes that would be 100 - 110 million that came in but yet we wait.
Luca Toni is slow cannot turn has an awful first touch a bad shot and for a giant is an average header of the ball. It also takes Toni 304 chances to score and we do not create that many chances.

Firstly, I would not want to see Milan waste money and inflate the price of Cissoko just because Inter are interested in him. If they want him, let them pay top dollar and take the risk.

As we are chasing a top CF, why not use this time to also snap up a Goal-keeper or Full back. There is no denying we need players in these positions more than we need a foward. Attack has never been a problem with milan, but the defense.... Well that has barred us from competing consistently over the past few seasons. It is time we seriously adress this problem, as it will truly take a LONG time to get a foward, as they are in serious demand on the market.

In my opinion, it wouldn't be bad taking on Oddo as he can add some more depth to our defense. I mean, if you play Favalli or Senderos as our CB in the first team, then you know we have a serious problem.

So, for me, its defense first. Lets build the team from bottom to top. And yes, I would hate to see Aly go to Inter, but if it means wasting cash (taking a huge risk, well atleast according to Galliani) to outbid our rivals, than we should just back-off and act rationally.

Pfff Aly to Inter?

Maicon is without doubt the best back in the world,so if they let him leave and his replacement is Cissokho then they are weaker.

If Maicon leaves and Aly comes in his place,i wouldnt mind,BUT if Maicon stays and Aly still comes i really really really really will be pissed of.

Last years' transfer efforts were a half-baked attempt by Galliani, who believed after coming fifth that the team didn't require a major face-lift. What we should have done last year was buy more youth and defenders, and go for stars this transfer window. I know it is easy saying this in hindsight, but last years tranfers were poorly thought out.

And Also,just a question:

Why do people on this forum act like it is a miracle that there are many negative posters on here after Kaka left.

I mean if you think about it,you could remember that in the January mercato people like mrki were saying that they will stop supporting Milan and watch Milan and buy things related to Milan if Kaka would leave because that would be earthshaking.

So you could all have seen this coming, the so called negative posters were already saying they would have had enough if the MGT goes so far that they would sell Kaka.

Ah well, no more Melo if Pirlo leaves. He just extended his contract with his club till 2013.

With Kaka gone, we lack spark in our midfield. It is just too slow for my liking!

Ah, i think Milan supporters just don't know what to think. From going from greatness in 07, to rock-bottom (in our standards) both performance wise and financially, it is not suprising that we are feeling dis-illosioned.

Acctually that isnt true,

They were just lucky the signings they did turn out to be a suprise.

They did not bought a new goalie but gave us Abbiati, who performed like a World-class goalkeeper.

Zambrotta was last year still one of the best RB in the world,he was a major upgrade compared with Oddo.

Borriello scored a amazing 19 goals in Genova,so everybody wanted him back and he also acctually did awsome in the games he played, remember we were hailing him for his workrate etc. even though he scored like one goal.

The only thing that they should have done was not buying Ronaldinho and buy a Big striker as everybody knew last year thats what we needed.

So the only thing they should have done was buying a striker not a AM,and maybe maybe a CB but i dont blame them, who could know Nesta would be out for a year?
