The big nmes will take a while to come in, but whilst this is happening, Milan should be doing nothing but adding youth and defenders to our system. W e have started, but not exactly adressed the defense problem just yet....

Aly Cissokho Wants Only Milan - Agent

It seems like the soap opera is not over yet, with the Rossoneri still a chance to sign the Frenchman..

Roger Boli, agent of Porto defender Aly Cissokho, is certain that his client has just one destination in mind this summer: Milan.

These comments arrive just after the transfer rumours indicated that Inter had overtaken the Rossoneri in the race for the French player, but according to Boli, this is nothing more than paper talk.

"Our desire is that of playing for the Rossoneri," affirmed the player's agent to Sportmediaset.it. "Porto and Milan are still in contact and therefore we have not activated ourselves for any other solution.

"There were some problems, but the player's will is to come to Italy and wear the Milan shirt. We still wait.

"We gave ourselves a few more days, then if there we don't reach the solutions we had set, then we will start looking around and contact other clubs."

Many journalists in Italy believe that Milan are doing this to lower the price on Cissokho and buy him at a discounted fee, but this way they might also risk losing him to another club.

Enough already Galliani! Nice try, and you had the best intentions, but if we are to miss out on him due to little money games, then the fans will hate you more!

So Nemanja Vidic just said this to The Sun:

"I got offers from Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid and I played a very honest game — I disclosed all these offers to my boss Sir Alex [Ferguson]. He reacted quickly."

First, if anyone doubts are status, we are in the same breath as Barcelona, Madrid, and Man Utd (obviously) so when it comes to players' opinion of Milan, it is definitely still very high.

However, I'm a little shocked that Milan actually bid for him. That means we are probably in the market for a CB, and that we are obviously willing to spend money.

I'm not sure if Vidic would fit in Serie A, though I realize he's great, but I'm just happy that there is evidence (if this is true) that Milan are shopping seriously for targets. Plus, it's not like he's trying to get a new contract, he all ready has his huge pay raise (from 20,000 a week to 70,000)

I guess this is just a positive indication of Milan's intention to bring us what we need.

As of right now, Dida is the #1 until Abbiati returns. That being said, I say keep our GK stable intact (even Kalac, as you gotta take the bad with the good) for one last year, then pounce on Marchetti after next season.

Yeah, perhaps you could argue that our keeping situation is fine, but i have this gut feeling that it is going to cause us problems next season. There is every possibility that Abbiati's injury will become chronic, and then what?

I prefer not to wait a season for Marchetti, since he is in high demand not only from Italian clubs. He could be gone this year even, so.....

Check out Rene Adler; he might fit the bill as Milan's new keeper.

And, i still repsect your opinion, but i feel that the defense, including goalkeeping needs to be adressed.

So calciomercato.com claims Galliani is planning to have a direct work with Domenico Criscito of Genoa with the goal of making him Thiago Silva's partner in the coming season. Very little else is disclosed.

If such is true, then Cissoko is over. Howver, atleast this player has experience in Serie A. There would be little adjustment period.

How so? Criscito is a cb, cissokho is a lb.

I'd swap money + Janku for Criscito.

Window open still no genuine transfers except a bunch of kids that either aren't ready or came back from loan. Next excuse from the kool aid gang: 'we have a whole 2 months'
