adebayor doesn't deserve to occupy the last Non eu spot this is abhorrent lucky for us that Arsenal management is just like Milan management. Flamini is a awesome player and deserves more credit he works hard very talented has been injury free and can play sb dmf cmf and on occasion cb well worth the 4 million euros a year for his services. Look at what has happened to arsenal since they lost Flamini ability to protect the back 4 the team almost missed out on champions league.

Adebayor is actually a pretty good player. He's coming off a "bad" season (by bad I mean he only scored 15 goals -- including 5 in 7 CL games -- while starting just 29 games in all competitions during an injury plagued season), but he was terrific two years ago (40 starts, 29 goals). If he can improve his finishing, he could be a great player. He's big, strong, fast for his size, good in the air and creates a ton of chances. I wouldn't mind having him at all. I'm not buying the Flamini swap thing though. Just more paper talk, I imagine. Especially since Adebayor's agent just said yesterday he's staying at Arsenal.

Plus, it looks like Arsenal has a good chance of getting Melo, who is exactly the sort of player the Gunners have been missing since Viera left. Flamini is a very good player and pretty tough, but he's not hard-nosed and physical in the Viera/Melo sense. If Arsenal can get him, I'm sure they would prefer that to taking back Flamini.

loosing Flamini would be a pure sign of the management going Bonkers, he was one of our best players last season.

the article came from the mirror which rivals goal.com for inaccurate reporting there does tend to be a element of truth in the story. I would guess that a player was offered to arsenal in exchange for a discount on adebayor transfer fee, i would guess that Milan would of offered a defender or dmf midfield player to arsenal.

Flamini offers a hell of alot more than Adebayor and has much better work ethic plus it more than likely Adebayor wages will be around 8 million euros a season. In addition we would give up on costa and hernanes who frankly are much better players than Adebayor.

Adebayor can't be that good every day a Arsenal fan asks me when is Milan going to buy Adebayor it would seem that the fans don't think much of the player. I doubt he would reproduce his goal tally in serie a he really is dependant on the wingers and midfield player to use the their speed to break up defences he just volleys the ball when he receives it.

Unbelieveable, if we sign Crouch and he is our striker for next year. The San Siro must be boycotted.

All Galliani seems concerned about is signing a "big name" stiker. Which is so stupid, because there are like 3 or 4 other positions that need to be addressed, and all he is doing is traveling around, offering pennies for strikers.

Yes, I want a striker, but unless this striker can transform himself into a CB,FB and a Creative Midfielder all at the same time. I really think we should have other objectives.

And I've seen nothing to indicate that Fabiano and Huntelaar aren't still options. Sevilla turned down Milan's first bid for Fabiano, but that was only a first bid. And Madrid only said no to a loan deal for Huntelaar. They want to sell him and they would still be perfectly willing to sell him to Milan.

A striker and a defender or two are the most pressing needs.

I really hope that nobody shows up at Berlusconi Trophy. I read somewhere that the fans are organizing a boycott so that the only ones that attend will be the few ultras with big "$#*% you" banners to B&G.

As far as I know the Cissokho deal isn't completely dead and there have been links to Criscito and other defenders.

Madrid told Uncle Fester they would not loan Huntelaar at this time, but wanted to sell him. They said if they couldn't sell him by August they might reconsider. That wouldn't preclude Milan from making a bid to buy him, but I'm sure Milan would pursue Fabiano before making a bid to buy Huntelaar.

Tuttosport this morning says Galliani has another meeting today with Perez to try and convince him about Huntelaar.

Now was the news this morning about Perez rejecting, from yesterdays meeting? Or todays?

Galliani is completely incompetent to make any deal that is not obviously done alredy by someone. He was incompetent to secure a player before he sells Kaka', then incompetent to ask for Sneijder/Hunter in Kaka' deal, now he is unable to sign a forward.

I always appreciated Huntelaar, and if he played with KAka' and Pato he'd score 25 without any problems. Now maybe Milan's targets are two forwards with Boriello going to Napoli ( tuttomercato ).

Galliani needs to leave Milan, this is not working anymore. They said 65mln will be back in the team, I dont see them paying anything to anyone. Hernanes+Cissokho+Hunter are 65mln. I'd say yes to that investment.

On a MORE serious look, for 80mln (Kaka'+Yoan+wages cuts...) Milan could buy Aguero and Hernanes and create modern team.

But to LOAN a team every year, now that would be something revolutionary...

Suggestion: Lets send a letter to Galliani and ask him, as MM members, to loan us him villa somewhere in alps or in south Italy so we can go there for 15 days and have a great time for free... Its a fair plays in an economical crisis.

Dude, you write the letter and I will be the first one to sign it. On a sidenote, is it also possible for us to request to use Galliani's personal jet for free as well? I live in California and airfare to Italy isn't cheap, LOL.

I found the article you're talking about. Apparently they picked it up from Gazzetta dello sport (a good source as far as sources go) and it said Milan had offered 14 for Huntelaar, but it will probably take 20 to get him.

I also found one from goal.com that mentions Huntelaar and Fabiano, as well as Zirkhov and a couple of new names (for this summer anyway) -- Alex Silva and Gareth Bale.

45m too much for Terry. Zarate, Lavezzi and the likes can rip him apart very easily.
