I hope those Ultra's +++ Berlusconi, the people who are saying no violence etc. can go and **** on themselves, desperate situations need desperate measures, and we are desperate now!

Maybe if we destroy something ++++ of Berlu something changes!

Relax Dutchie.

I understand your frustration, but violence is not the answer. What Milan fans should do is not buy anything related to this club. No shirts, no tickets, etc. That is more effective. I am thrilled that ticket sales are so low.

Ambrosini is our new captain--tgcom.

Ambrosini is our new captain....the guy wont even play Leo will for sure choose for Gattuso-Pirlo-Flamini and Jankulovski as a backup for Flamini if a new LB will come,Rhino is the new captain.

Ambrosini has always been the second captain for years now but how many times we have seen him bench when Maldini was injured so Gattuso was wearing the armband.....

You really need to stop watching football... Your comments are exactly why Calcio has a bad name.

Dutchie, violence solves nothing.

The way to beat Berlu is by not buying season tickets, order those TV deals....
With less than 1000 ticket sales, which I presume most of them are corp. sales.
IT really does not look good for Milan, which is great as now Berlu will see that Milan is fill with crap instead of champions.

It's a real sign on how bad the management has been doing...

Fans are fighting among ourselves, and the whole world opinion on Milan has been at it's lowest in years...

This just didn't happen overnight, it's just years of bad leadership... Fans has just had enough!

I too am glad the fans have stop buying tickets... I have at least 10 Milan jerseys, 1 full track suit and a damn mug that was bought from the city of Milan itself, i would like to know my money means something... a boycott is the only voice we fans have... as for now the management seems disillusioned from reality... keep feeding us crap and thinks most of us are 12 year olds...

I don't like the violence, but I'm happy the ultras are making sure the fans are heard... altho i hope they would find a different way to be heard...

However, I wonder how the current batch of Milan players are feeling.... "The fans don't think we're good enough"

Don't know whether it will inspire them to prove us wrong or whether it will demotivate them...

You think that because the mercato is young its normal Milan havent bought somebody, but the real answer is that they do not want to buy,its not a time-thing,ITS THE ATTITUDE!
Apparently you've forgotten that Silvio said the exact same thing shortly after Kaka was sold (sending these boards up in arms). Yet Milan surely seems to have been pursuing players in the meantime. As for Galliani, as far as I know he's still pursuing Fabiano, Huntelaar and possibly other options.

Galliani: There have been 6724 season tickets bought, only 20% less than last season and that proves 80% of our fans are with us. We will buy but maybe in August when prices go down. Spain is an exception right now. Look at England, France, and Italy--they have lost their best players. Prices are crazy right now. If no one arrives, we are good as we are.

No one in the world has won more titles than we have. Our president is great and will continue to be.

I agree we need a CF. I don't think we need a LB and a CB. Maybe one who can play both (Criscito) or a great LB (Aly) which makes Bonera a dedicated CB. I'm fine with Nesta, Thiago, Kala and Bonera as our CB unit.

I'm not sure we need a attacking CM. Di Gennaro, Seedorf and Ronaldinho can play AMF, and Pirlo is an emergency AMF too. I don't even think we need to play with an central attacking midfielder anymore (ie, no Kaka replacement) but it would be nice to have that option tactically. I think we have enough players for that.

A LB and a big CF are the crucial pieces that the team currently lacks. Anything extra would be nice, but really isn't essential. My picks are Aly Cissokho and Dzeko. I still feel one of the two will arrive, and second choices are Criscito and Adebayor. I can live with Fabiano, but I don't want Huntelaar. My main criteria for the CF isn't necessarily how big or how clinical he is, but rather how well he might work with Pato and THE DINHO. Someone with the anticipation and awareness to move into the right spaces and with a killer first touch. Out of all the CF's we're linked to, I think Fabiano has the best first touch, but he's not as big as Ade and Dzeko.

In the end, I think we'll be okay if one of those three arrive, and it's pretty obvious that if one of them doesn't arrive when the window closes, all hell will break loose.

I thought it was less than 1000. I guess Berlu gave a memo to all his managers to get Milan Season tickets over the weekend.

How can he say that no one has won more titles than Milan, how many CLs has RealM won and how many did Milan? How many times was Real the domestic league Champion?

What does he mean by "titles" exactly...that Milan has won more than any other club

Champions league? - Nope
Scudettos? Nope

It's like we're little kids, the way he treats us.

...."oh if we were in England, we would have been 2nd and not third".....well BRAVO Galliani, that makes everything quite alright

Just a few things to provide you all with some perspective:

Milan news archives from ForzaMilan.com:

July 2000 archive:

Highlights:

July 4 -- Milan begin training

July 5 -- Milan negotiating with Parma for Thuram. Possible swap of Bierhoff for Crespo. Milan wants Rivaldo.

July 6 -- Exploratory talks with Real Madrid over Morientes. Possible 3-way deal: Bierhoff to Parma, Crespo to Juve, Pippo to Milan.

July 7 -- Milan deny Weah and Coco are bound for Monaco. Berlusconi's big signing could be Fiore of Udinese. Milan have acquired promising 18 year old Massimiliano Donati from Atalanta.

July 8 -- Milan are still hunting down the star player club president Berlusconi promised. The choice now has fallen on three players, Rivaldo, Beckham and Thuram.

July 19 -- Adriano Galliani is in Spain on a mission. To lure a top player in Milan's way. Papers are talking about Gerard who will then be moved to Barcellona for Rivaldo. Other targets are Mendieta, again of Valencia with the possibility of an exchange deal for the unsettled Ayala.

July 25 -- Milan and Real Madrid have agreed on all the terms necessary to bring Fernando Redondo to Milan. Now only the players' "yes" is necessary.

July 26 -- Weah had finally closed the door on Milan. Galliani commented that this is a sad day for the club. George Weah will now move to any club he chooses. Roma, Bologna and Monaco are the clubs willing to get him. Weah asked for a guaranteed place in the squad, something Milan cannot give to anyone.

Redondo / Gerard saga goes on.....
After agreeing terms with Real Madrid, it now seems that manager Del Bosque has stated that he needs Redondo. The final decision is now up to the player who seems very unsure. Gerard's decision is also on hold. The player wants Milan but his parents have been quoted as saying that they want him to remain in Spain, preferably with Barcellona. Could this mean Milan are closer to Rivaldo ???

July 27 -- Fernando Redondo could have already signed for Milan. The management of both teams are meeting in a secret location in Switzerland. Both clubs have closed the deal and only the final touches remain.

July 31 -- Barcellona as expected produced an amzing package for Brazilian star Rivaldo and it has been confirmed by Galliani that the player will stay at Barca for the next few seasons. Milan have now officially pulled out of the deal.

Okay, then.....

Does none of this sound a bit familiar to you? Every transfer window is crazy, slow and frustrating. Nothing has changed. And sometimes even the best players are purchased at the very last minute -- and sometimes negotiations are very difficult!

From Aug. 31, 2002:

Quote:
ROME, Aug 31 (AFP) - Lazio's Italian international defender Alessandro Nesta has joined AC Milan on a five-year deal, the Milanese club announced on Saturday.

The 26-year-old's move north comes after negotiations between the clubs had initially broken down. At one point Italian champions Juventus even looked likely to sign the talented defender.

AC Milan had tabled an offer for Nesta days after the World Cup ended in July, however on August 11 the clubs announced that negotiations had ended due to differences over the selling price.

However the deadlock was defused when Italian president Silvio Berlusconi, also the president of AC Milan, stepped in and announced he was taking the matter into his own hands.

No financial details of the deal have yet been disclosed however according to local media reports AC Milan are set to pay around 32 million euros (31.3m dollars) for Nesta, whose contract expires in June of 2007.

Saturday is the deadline for transfer of players within Europe.
So relax folks. Pop a valium. Have a beer. Take a few tokes. Whatever you do to relax. It's the same old summer show. We don't know what surprises are in store. All we can do is wait.
