People are saying that Berlu can't spend money due to being Italian PM, but IMO if he can't look after something so close to his heart, how can he look after a whole country. Italy would get a major boost with Milan being competitive esp in Europe more than it would with a weak Milan like we have.

Milan have a definite transfer plan and way to play unlike previous seasons, but the MGT, aren't willing to back their own ideas with the necessary money. if that happens, everything fails.....

“We had been following him for some time and he replaces [Philippe] Senderos. We have no doubts over Alessandro Nesta, while Thiago Silva is the replacement for Paolo Maldini.

“There is no point suggesting other names, from Philippe Mexes to Andre Santos.”

Tribal football.com Adraino Galliani

For once, I want Galliani to lie to the fans....

Straight after the last post....

Andre Santos agent reveals AC Milan, Juventus interest
09.07.09 | tribalfootball.com
The agent of Corinthians defender Andre Santos is coy over talk of a move to AC Milan.

Andre Santos has mentioned Roma and Juventus as other potential destinations and Mariano Grimaldi told Tuttomercatoweb: "We are working on various possibilities in Italy.

"On the player there are various teams. In my judgment, there is more Italian teams than foreign ones, also because the player is firmly convinced of wanting Italy."

Asked about Juventus and Milan, Grimaldi added: "These teams have demonstrated an indication of approval elevated towards Santos."

The plan is simple. Anyone who is free, thats Milan targets.
Anyone who can make their teams lower the asking prices, thats Milan targets.

Sounds like Juve will get their man. And with their Brazilian influnces, thats not a hard task.

Do you know what would be a slap in the face? If Juve signs Mattioni and he plays well to the point that we all go, how did that happened, thats a slap in the face.

BTW, I read on Channel4 that Arsenal is offering Senderous/Eboue and 5Mil for Melo. Now, I am not going to jump on the Melo's wagon but surely Milan can offer better than that. Afterall, Senderous is in the deal.

Trust me, the plan WAS different when we first entered the market, as we were initially going to spend half of Kaka's transfer fee. But when Berlu and Galliani's stinginess got in the way, the plan quickly changed into what you mentioned above.

Slowly but surely he is arriving...Luca Toni!

Huntelaar went to Stuttgart! My god we are now in battle for players with a club like Stuttgart!

I have no words, we can now wait for Cissokho to sign for some good club and become a great player. I have faith in Leo's choices, and he was his choice.

This LB that played for Brasil in the last tournament is not what we need. He is just a normal fullback, not a class one.

Realistic outcome is a fight for 4th place, **** it, we are not in that place and will be untill the club is sold. So those of you how support Silvio to stay as owner, now you can be happy.

Actually Berlusconi said that ALL of the money from Kaka' will be back in the team. To me it seems like 20-25mln will be spent. That much money after selling Yoan and Kaka' is a joke.

I would like to say, agter saying that your post was great, that this team is not capable of scudetto and CL results.

Leonardo spoke well and I do expect him to get something more from certain players then Carlo did ( Pirlo lately, Seedorf, Flamini, Dinho ). But players are like tires, they simply get wasted. We cannot expect that now suddenly we'll play fast football with Ambro, Pirlo, Dinho, Seedorf - those players cant run at all. We cant expect to use fullbacks well when we have ONE FB that is class ( Oddo, Marek cant cross even if its up to their lives ). Oddo in the first place HAS NOTHING TO DO IN MILAN!!!

Fabiano is a very good striker, but he is no Torres, Drogba, Ibra, old Sheva. He is not a player that will solve games by himself. Pato is still extremly young player, young players tend to variate and to dissapear in parts of the game ( kaka' did that in the begginings too but people forgot it ).

And suddenly Kaladze and Bonera will play 25% better then they ususaly do? Why? Coz of the "new era"? It will not happen. Not to mention that Favalli is absolutely a joke aldough he is a great tactician and I actually like him when he is not on the field for Milan

To me it seems that ONLY way we can say that we are in position to improve our sistemn and squad is to add quality players. That is not a FM talk, that is reality. Leonardo asked for Cissokho, becouse he saw that man can play full tempo up and down for 120min, has power and stamina. He asked for Hernanes, becouse Hernanes is a CLASS player. We lack CM since Seedorf was young! Hernanes can play like that.

Im sorry for 3 posts but I got carryed away. My apologies.

And - needless to say - losing, too

I'm still surprised that Huntelaar would move to the Bundesliga, and Stuttgart of all teams , though nothing is signed yet.

I haven't been that impressed by Santos, either, he seems pretty ordinary for a Brazilian full back, though €6m is still a good price.

IF we get another striker and a full back, and IF Nesta stays healthy and IF Dinho and Pirlo rediscover their form (and are used correctly) then I think we'll be the 3rd strongest team in the league. With management's lack of interest we really rely on the players already here to perform...

Like I said, it is unfair to bet on Nesta being 100% after one year long layoff.

Dinho will be back but he is not going to carry Milan for the whole season.

Weren't you the one saying that Huntelaar is like our best option on the market and all the top clubs are after him?

Huntelaar is crap, deal with it. I am glad he is going to Stuttgart and not to Milan.

lol.. you are such a hypocrite that it's unbelievable.
according to you, one year ago we were losing because our players weren't putting in enough effort.
half a year ago we were losing because Ancelotti suxx.
now you are blaming Berlusconi?

what's next? should we change San Siro as well? according to you we need to replace everyone and everything to come back to the top. how about changing the club's name?

i don't blame you actually, cuz this same hysteria caught many people on the forums. at least it's funny to read ... lol

I cant say that the news of huntellar not coming made me cry..i dont think he has the quality to be one of the best,so this time i wont blame the mgt..

we certainly need about 4 starters to compete juve and inter,we rely too much on nesta,on TS,on dinho maybe on pato too, although its certain we ll get one fw at least..
