Why should fLame be banned? Honestly? Why? The only time people should be banned is if they are racist, homophobic, sexist etc.

fLame does have an obsession with mrki , but everyone is allowed to express their opinion. Quite frankly, he hasn't said anything offensive really. We have a very thin skin on this forum.

About the Huntelaar discussion, it looks like Marseille is also in the race for the player. A french newspaper reported that Huntelaar was in Marseille this morning to speak with the management of the club.

The problem is that Marseille is for moment offering 14M whereas Madrid wants some 22M.

For Marca, a deal has been reached with Stuttgart for 18M.

So, where's the truth ?!
All we know is we don't know if anything was signed or if there is any agreement ...

PS: Thanks to Marseille and their project, Ligue 1 could level up this year. Bordeaux has a serious team, Lyon must build up a little again, and Marseille tries to reinforce their striker position after the transfers of players in defence and midfield (thanks to the links of Deschamps).

Well, Barcelona offered 40mil for Villa.
Thats a great deal considering Benzema gone for 35mil

FYI, I spent most of the time reading, and a small fraction of time posting.
I suggest you do the same. Then you wouldn't post things like "no one wants you here". I am actually trying hard to resist the temptation of ridiculing that childish statement.

I shouldn't be posting this again but I don't have much choice, everybody please stay on topic and don't insult anybody or others here on the forum. Threads like this will not be used for blaming each other either. Me and mods will be deleting off topic posts as well.

And to address some above posts...opinions on each other here is very different than opinions on how the team is doing, player x is Milan quality or not.
We will be reviewing the forum rules and if we have made an omission it will be explicitly added...we are not here to judge each other...you can say someone is wrong but not insult him on the way.

You have a very short memory. Shevchenko was 29 and coming off one of his best seasons (28 goals and a brilliant performance in the Champions League). Everyone thought Sheva was right in his prime (and he should have been). Nearly everyone on these boards thought it was the end of the world. Milan would never be the same. Yet Milan managed to win the Champions League that very season.

And you take a very shortsighted view of things if you think a few games in August are more important than the long term future. Other clubs will be adding players in July and August as well. Besides, I think Milan has a good enough squad just the way it is to avoid being relegated to Serie B by Sept. 1.

Huntelaar would be a great addition for Marseille. It's funny, but he's also been linked heavily in the press with Manchester United, which got more money for Ronaldo than Milan got for Kaka and which also lost Tevez. It seems funny that United wouldn't already have him wrapped up if nobody else seems to be offering much more than Milan -- unless United thinks it's not a great idea to overspend in the current economic conditions. And looking at their transfer market thus far, I'd say SAF is being pretty conservative. Real Madrid seems to be the only club throwing money around like it's going out of style (although Barcelona may respond with some big spending of its own). Well, maybe United will make a move for Ibra, as is being rumored.

Here's a little tidbit:

Porto's Aly Cissokho could still sign for Milan according to his agent Fabrizio Ferrari: "Currently, the negotiations have not been completely abandoned, but at the moment nothing is happening, we'll see in the coming days," he explained to MilanNews.

I can't say it would surprise me if they ended up working it out once the two clubs wait each other out a little bit. A lot of deals have been declared dead before one club or the other finally gave a little and worked things out. We'll see.
