So, Milan couldn't just walk in and say "We're Milan! You're coming back with us!" The agreement signed last summer -- which I seriously doubt you were b1tching about at the time -- gave Gourcuff the right to stay at Bordeaux and the club the right to purchase him. This summer, Milan's hands were tied. There is nothing they could have said or done to change Gourcuff's mind unless maybe they guaranteed him a full-time starting role -- which is something they should never do.

Yes he is Luca,he is an upgrade if you look at what we have and he has a great left footer,he is at least a better player than Juve-target Grosso but still i wouldnt mind seeing Albertazzi on the leftflank at all but thats just me....

ON another note: please try keeping your thoughts in one posts (like what I"m doing): just easier to read, you know. Quote:

Also, I think Galliani and Leo (who traveled to France together) did try convincing Gourcuff, who decided to switch team. But it didn't work out. Case close. The clause, however, is set a year ago, so yes that mistake had already been made a year ago; it could have been a no-buy-out clause (but I don't know how many people will agree with not selling Gourcuff at that time). *** And to everyone here: Sometimes, it just takes a bit of an effort to overcome that intensity of emotions to react and then become a bit more rational again. please maintain this place as a friendly environment for discussion. Rai TV cannot show direct matches from the Italian league. Only Sky Sport, and Mediaset Premium show the games. May be you can watch Coppa Italia, but it can be on Rai 2 or 3. ![]() Try to invest in a Sattellite box. Here in Malta some people use are watching it from this, but I don't know what Cam do you need. I am useing a Cable TV as they are the only ones to have rights. |

![]() And I had missed this comment by johncharles: Quote:
In fact, I was just reading an article the other day about how incredibly slow the transfer market has been for the entire English Premier League this summer. Their new tax laws are (like Italy) making it difficult for them to sign top players from outside. Not only has Arsenal signed just one player, but Chelsea has signed only one who is likely to get much PT on the senior squad (Zhirkov). The same for Liverpool (Glen Johnson). Manchester United has brought in three players now, but has spent very little of the money they got for Ronaldo in doing it (one was a free transfer and another cost only 3 million pounds). Neither Tottenham nor Aston Villa have signed anyone (despite losing several players each, including Gareth Barry for Villa). Everton's biggest move has been to extend Jo's loan deal (although they did sign a DM from the fourth division of U.S. soccer ). Manchester City, with all their Middle Eastern billions, has failed thus far in their efforts to sign "big name" players (although they signed a couple of really good players in Barry and Santa Cruz). So it looks as though the economy and some other factors have made the transfer market difficult for almost everyone. ![]()
