Ah, okay. Yep, that's about two hours. But two hours is a long trip when you don't have the time.

This summer, Milan's hands were tied. There is nothing they could have said or done to change Gourcuff's mind unless maybe they guaranteed him a full-time starting role -- which is something they should never do.

Also, I think Galliani and Leo (who traveled to France together) did try convincing Gourcuff, who decided to switch team. But it didn't work out. Case close.

The clause, however, is set a year ago, so yes that mistake had already been made a year ago; it could have been a no-buy-out clause (but I don't know how many people will agree with not selling Gourcuff at that time).
Guys, what i m trying to say is that the clauses dont mean that much when you have to deal with a smaller team like bordeux,if galliani really wanted him back,he would have stayed close to him all the previous year and would have made him feel important..

of course we couldnt promise a starting role, but i dont think that he wanted that bad(we cant promise that to almost anyone, not even ronaldinho)..he knows that he would have to fight to be a starter for us,but still we are one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, not bordeux..

i cant believe that milan's hand were tied by any means, they would be if we loaned him to real madrid or barca etc..

gourcuf would have come running,if he felt he was wanted..

AC Milan President Silvio Berlusconi: We Have More Class Than Inter
The Rossoneri supremo believes his side are more than capable of competing with their cross-town rivals...

After a disappointing season that saw the club finish in third place in Serie A and without any silverware, AC Milan are looking to bounce back this campaign and president Silvio Berlusconi is confident that can be achieved.

"We must take the field and have fun, be masters of the game. Perhaps with some tactical innovation, we are aiming to make a great Milan," he told Mediaset on Sunday.

Their city rivals Inter, have brought in a couple of high profile signings this summer in Diego Milito and Thiago Motta, but the Italian politician believes that his side can boast more talent.

"I appreciate Inter from a physical and aesthetic perspective, but we have more class," he explained.

"From [Andrea] Pirlo, [Clarence] Seedorf, [Alexandre] Pato to Ronaldinho, there is no equal in Italy."

Manchester City Ready To Torpedo Milan’s Bid For Sevilla Hotshot Luis Fabiano - Report
The Rossoneri could lose the Brazilian hitman if the Spanish side accept a reportedly higher bid from the Citizens…
13 Jul 2009 06:03:26

After tussling with AC Milan for Samuel Eto’o, Manchester City are looking to disrupt the Serie A giants’ transfer plans again as they prepare to hijack their bid to sign Luis Fabiano from Sevilla.

Following City’s announcement that they had given up on signing the Cameroonian from Barcelona for the time being, Sport has speculated that they will now focus their attention on Fabiano.

Milan’s highest offer to Sevilla so far stands at €18 million, still €2m shy of the lowest price the Andalucians are willing to consider.

The Citizens, on the other hand, are reportedly prepared to offer €25m, roughly the same amount that they had set aside for Eto’o, as well as tempt the Brazilian striker with a much more lucrative wage packet than what the Italians can offer.

Although Fabiano has hinted through his agent that he would only consider a move to the Rossoneri should he leave the Nervionense outfit, Sport believes that Robinho could convince the Confederations Cup Golden Boot winner to join the Eastlands outfit.

Meanwhile, this latest turn of events, if confirmed, could prompt Milan to revive their interest in Eto’o, although they would still have to confront the issue of meeting Barcelona and the player’s own financial demands.

great result in the friendly, but confused to see why certain players are started in out first XI. I believe Storari will beat Dida and Kalc this eason, but most likely, will be sold! How can you have 4 GKs? Storari is in high demand, and will fetch a more decent price than many would expect. This could help more in our transfer quest.....

Juve will sign Grosso for the LB and want Santacroce to play RB, or Kjaer.

We need month to sign one player we didnt even want from the start, while Juve apparently can do it a bit faster.

With those 2 players to Juve we have nothing to do against them this year, to be real. "noone can match us in Italy..." my god... it is now irrelevant what he says it doesnt make any sence anyway. Him and G are just talking to Milan fans like we are retarded. It ugly to see it.

This constant speculation of Santacroce going Juve is quite annoying but at the same time I get the impression it's very much like many of our rumours, with little substance. The clubs (Napoli and Juve) haven't really said anything and Santacroce has also been very quiet. Still, it's better than us who really don't seem to have any real link at all.

Just a quick comment about yesterday's game. We played with roughly around 7 non starters starting the match, so it probably isn't a good indicator of what to expect. However, if nothing else then it showed that our squad needs work, as we're still not only a little weak in areas, but we lack depth in variety. I just hope Berlu and Galliani saw this.

What was interesting and rather positive was it seemed Seedorf, who appeared to take the role normally Pirlo would take played with more freedom than Pirlo has in the past few years. This will be extremely important for our play next season imo.

GREAT NEWS: PARMA WANT KALAC!

So thats one crap player we may lose this year, then we finally have a good third goalkeeper in Storari who is much better than Kalac.

And Mrki please stop repeating that Juve-Santacroce link, how many times did i heard that he is going to move to Juve for 6 million or 10 million or what so ever....Its not going to happen if there was any truth in it they would have already snapped him up.You know its crap but you posting it again and again just to point out that Milan isnt doing anything on the market and that Juve and Inter are ahead of us,we get it now but Santa to Juve is crap just like Kjaer because he isnt on the market otherwise he would already have gone to England and not Juve......

Well actually Xudong they broadcast only home games from the biggest 12 clubs in Italy(so clubs like Napoli,Udinese and Palermo also),wich means that if Milan plays a away game at those clubs it will also be broadcastet!!!!!!!!So i just miss the away games against the 8 smallest teams in Serie A,like against Chievo and Bari.

So in total i just miss 8 games next season against the small teams....thats it!

I can watch those on Internet and the other 32 games i can watch on TV,what a relief! But still i am going to visit this forum while watching it on the screen, otherwise its less fun!
