According to this, in next hours Pirlo will be Chelsea player for around 18mln, which will be used for Hernanes.

Im ok with this as Pirlo is no longer needed in our new tactical setup. Aldough at this moment we could use BOTH Pirlo and Hernanes due to the lack of depth in our quality but...

I only hope we will for once secure a sub to a sold player and not like in Sheva and Kaka' situations where Milan looked riduculous.

Pirlo off, Hernanes on for me is a step forward.

About Cissokho: we peobably cant pay for him, we'll bring in some 5mln player as talk a lot about him. That is how Milan does it lately. After you talk about the player a lot, people start to believe it. Im sorry that Cissokho will not be our player, this tipe of a player we could use well.

Pirlo off and Hernanes on is indeed a step forward,i also read the article and the source is Marca.....sorry but i just dont believe it although i wouldnt mind Pirlo being a Chelsea player, still waiting on a good source like Gazzetta to report the deal.

And about the Cissohko-saga,well i am glad it has come to a end and i am happy if we end up with Pasqual or A.Santos, because they are also adding something if you look at our first team and they are quality players,i dont look at the price,as long as they are good enough.

For once Mrki, I think I actually agree with you. Hernanes (young and talented) substitute for Pirlo (has been slow) is a very good swap.

I did not watch the match, but i'm hearing that Antonini looked VERY impressive yesterday. Maybe Leo knows something we dont??? Maybe this is why the deal fell apart for Cissokho? Remember, Zambro can play on the left. If Antonini takes RB, than Zambro will move over with Janku as a backup??

Still MiamiMilanista, who will be the backup for Antonini or Zambrotta? We have Albertazzi on the left who i regard as a high-profile talent but its his first year with the team and also Oddo, who even proved against a team like Varese(with all respect ofcourse)to be crap.

We dont have enough options,we need one more back. Then we have three good options with Albertazzi as the one who can make some minutes here and there.Oddo is going to be sold i think, some clubs want him i think we will dump him.

But seeing Antonini playing good isnt a suprise, last year we hailed him for his performances and everytime he played he didnt dissappoint. So its no suprise that he could be a starter next year.

Like i said before, people on this forum only watch at the names, they want big names and are underrating some players in our team like Antonini and Ambrosini.

Dutchie, are there any rumors about Pasqual coming to us?

But this mercato is improvised again, and that is something that needs to be prevented but it looks like it cannot be. We olsd Kaka' like we had 1 hour to sell.

Some players needed to be secured first, then Kaka' is sold, players payed and that is it. Squad is ready for a so called "new circle". Not like this.

Fabiano is 28-29. New circle, yeah.

I agree with your last paragraph 100%. I want Milan to have their Santon. A name that no one knows at all who comes up from the woodwork and bites everyone.

I just saw on tuttomercato some story about Abate staying with Milan. I would LOVE if we would inject Abate and Antonini into this squad. We need this big time!

I think they're doing it the right way now. Making sure that we've secured Hernanes (just waiting to sign) before allowing Pirlo to leave. That way we won't be held for ransom. If the Brazilians demand a lot, we can stop Pirlo from leaving. If Chelsea off too little, we stop him from leaving. We have all the leverage.

I'm angry that we're not getting Cissokho. It's a real shame. We needed him. Let's hope we get someone that can get even close to his abilities. (Admittedly, 15m for a full back is a bit much).

On another note, Chelsea would look frightening if they had Pirlo and Zlatan.

Yes he isnt going to renew his contract with Fiorentina so now they are eager to sell him and we are interested according to rumours,we were also strongly linked with him in January remember? When Janku played that great game at LM against Udinese and Milan wanted to play him there and buy a new LB.But that didnt go through because probably Carletto wanted to stick with his X-Mas tree formation no mather what.

Mrki i agree with you that Milan is acting a bit stupid on the mercato but Kaka wasnt sold on the last day of the market,he was sold in the beginning so there is no need to hurry to find a new replacement because we have enough time left to do so.

And in terms of new cycle......well i think it means that it is going to be a Milan with a new attitude and new playing style, not with new players......

I am still hoping that Zlatan leaves Inter, then they will definitely be out of the race for Scudetto and CL.

I just cant stand it that other clubs are giving their all to get Kaka but nobody is making it hard for Inter to keep Zlatan, just make a offer for the guy already!
