There's some rumblings that the Dzeko deal might not be dead.

TMW. But is sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Silva looked very solid. Dinho looks to have gotten some of his moves and speed back but you can tell there is some extra weight that needs to be shed in the next month and a half

AC Milan Officials In Brazil To Negotiate With Hernanes - Report
The Rossoneri are already preparing for life after Andrea Pirlo as they are ready to submit a mega-bid for the Brazilian sensation...

AC Milan officials are reportedly in Sao Paulo to enter negotiations with the Brazilian champions for their star player, Hernanes.

According to sportmediaset.it, Milan's general director Ariedo Braida is currently in Brazil after ending negotiations for Andre Santos. The stumbling block in the deal is third-party ownership, as is so often the case with South American footballers.

The 23-year-old is mostly owned by Sao Paulo while Traffic hold around 17 per cent, the same group that own some of Keirrison's registration. As a result, Sao Paulo are determined not to let their man go on the cheap, as some of the fee will not end up in their hands.

A €30 million fee is thus being mooted for the midfielder, who is capable of striking the ball with both feet and playing either in front of the defence or, preferably, as an attacking midfielder.

Should Andrea Pirlo's transfer to Chelsea go ahead for the reported €25m, the Rossoneri will have plenty of cash on hand with which to buy Hernanes after the sale of Kaka to Real Madrid.

Admittedly some of the €65m was kept aside for paying off debts, (what about the extra 15 milliojn from Gourcyff?) but Braida may be given the green light to meet Sao Paulo's valuation and make a giant step towards the first big-money signing of the Leonardo era.

Anthony Wright, Goal.com

If all other clubs want to play hard ball on their players, I am sure we can drag Pirlo's price to atleast 30 million! After all, he is a versatile man, proven by his monumental switching of positions for Milan. As well as this, he has a wealth of experience whilst not being in his early thirties just yet.....

Parma Linked With Milan ‘Keeper Zeljko Kalac – Report
The Gialloblu have reportedly set their sights on the Rossoneri shot-stopper.

Parma have been linked with a number of players throughout the summer thus far, none more notable than Udinese’s star forward, Antonio Di Natale. However, the club are in desperate need of some cover at the back and in goal.

According to the latest reports from Corriere dello Sport, Milan’s Zeljko Kalac could be on his way to the promoted club in the coming weeks.

The Australian international is seen as the ideal replacement for Emiliano Viviano, who recently joined Bologna, and with a wealth of experience on his side, his arrival could be extremely beneficial for the ambitious club.

Parma have also been linked with Sampdoria’s Antonio Mirante, Piacenza’s Mario Cassano and Ferdinando Coppola of Atalanta, but Kalac seems the most approachable target.

With Christian Abbiati set to return from injury at the commencement of the new season, and with Dida the current number two 'keeper at the club, the Aussie will likely struggle for playing time in the Rossoneri colours this season.

Adrian Del Monte, Goal.com

You will be surprised, but Kalac and Storari can actually fetch a decent price if sold... Age is not such a major factor as a GK, and could help contribute to our meagre transfer kitty. An extra 8 million or so from the sales of both players could mean the diference between getting Hernanes or losing out on him..... After all, it was supposedly 10 million that was the gap for Dzeko!

Guys can you group all your posts together, rather than having it separate in 3 or 4 posts so that it'll be easier for people to read your stuff (trust me, people don't like to read multiple posts by the same person within a page. It's quite unpleasant).

Thanks - J

I wouldn't worry much now about Manchester City hijacking a Fabiano deal. they just confirmed tevez, and have Santa Cruz and RObihno in attack.....

Any scuppered deal would be our fault from now on!

P.S- Ac milan preseason training on Youtube (Milan Channel)

Gatusso looks fit, and Seedorf as always (yet so slow). Dihno however looks stocky, yet his form in the friendly could prove me wrong!

I cannot believe there are teams who actually want Kalac.
If thats true, then there must be a team out there that would want Mr. 4-Time CL Winner and Mr. 2-Time CL winner(Kala).
