I hope one of the longtime members could help... Why bother to continue supporting milan? I have no intention of going elsewhere but why invest my time money and emotions to support a club run by berlu who seems to be simply an ordinary dishonest cynical businessman? The romance seems to be gone with the sale of kaka. On forza inter i proudly claimed that i supported milan because of my principles. They responded with allegations regarding berlu. I never replied because i know some of these might be true. didn't bother me too much since i'd like to think that his intentions were good and politics is a dirty game on matter how you swing it. But in these last mercatos i have witnessed an amazingly swift destruction to practically all that makes me support milan. From as early as galliani voiced his support for Perez i knew it was going to be the beginning of the end....I knew kaka was going and ignored the lies on both sides to simply wait for the bitter outcome. Selling yohan inbetween suddenly made me desperate. Why sell our ONE superhero? Why can't we hold on to our stars anymore? Why the false assurances? Why the REGRESSION TO RONALDINHO? If we're rejuvenating the team why throw gourcuff away? This one i'll answer: to showcase one of the most marketable players in the world. Or two if you count david. I used to be proud of the family atmosphere at milan but i have little to speak about since we didn't wait on ronaldo- the best striker ever to come back...we keep letting our young stars go undervalued like foggia willy pierre de gennaro etc...it is also clear that MANAGEMENT desires seedorf and pirlo to play all the time...to top it all off...the fans **** on Maldini... WHAT KINDA **** FAMILY IS THAT? I'd rather we'd be straight up cynical bastards like juve and let fans know that it's a business we're running than pretend to be what we're not... We were sooo poor last year but we bought R80 for eto'o price. Then came more sh!t like zambrotta and $heva...does that sound like a poor team to you? Where is the $heva money? Gila money? Gourcuff money? Are our Bills THAT HUGE?

If we were to line up our current impressive looking team against ANY big club in the world the odds would be on them beating us
![]() I think if we manage to achieve ......................Dida...................... ..Zambrotta..Nesta..Silva..Santos.. .........Ambroo...Hernanes...Flamini........... ..........Ronie.....Fabiano...Pato............. Abbiatti Antonini Bonera Gattuso Cardaccio/De Gennaro Viudez/Beretta/Zigoni Borriello We have a half decent squad that with the right coaching could win stuff....however this formation is dependent on the arrival of THREE major signings whereas our management seems unwilling/unable to get even one. Plus our current formation would rely on an awful lot of Brazilians....mainly one who is being..er...er roundly (pun intended) criticized for lacking motivation ![]()

Mods. Ban this guy please. LOL.
Like a wise man once said. Milan is a rose, love even the thorns. You want to cheer for nothing but stars? Go become a RM fan. Otherwise stay true.

Quote:
I love Milan and even the thorns meaning that as long as we remain MILAN I'd support them down to SerieZ....however if we lose our ideals for the sake of greed and become increasingly dishonest/dishonourable then it's difficult to have anything but a superficial love for the rossoneri

Glory Hunters?
I wouldn't support Milan if they were run by a terrorist organization or a child molester for instance. Like we would? Wow man, Drama Queen. Enjoy your thread..

I cheer for Milan because I have cheered for Milan since my childhood. It is a part of me, I am a Milanista.
Even if things go bad, I still cheer for Milan. If you change cheering for a team because it stops winning, you are basically cheering as an investment for joy. You might just as well change team every season, based on predictions. I understand that as a child, you probably choose the best team or maybe your hometown team, but from that point on you keep your faith.... I, and maybe most other fans, are just as pißed off as you at how things are going right now... at the management, at the Kaka' sale, etc.... But as others have mentioned, Milan is like a rose, love even the thorns.

Yes because like it or not we all at one point supported Milan because of how glorious it was/ is whether it was from the flying dutchmen or in the Kaparo era. What is our continued reason to support Milan however will classify the type of supporter we are...I have no doubt that Milan will surely rise out of this tricky period and become a winner once more....It's the path that they take that concerns me.....Suppose, for argument's sake in '07 after the CL Berlu did as he's doing now....only that he kicks out Kaka, fires Maldini, Dida and Seedorf (then both is great form) and Pirlo....we then booted out all the old players and replaced them all with younger stronger, fitter faster players......Sure the potential for this new look Milan might be endless. We might win stuff but are you genuinely attached to these new guys? Have you no sentiment?
I used the terrorist/Child molester as an extreme example obviously to make the point that there is or should be a cut off point where we withdraw support. Some fans might be willing to endure more than some but I believe that someone who makes an honest heartfelt decision based on a moral stand shouldn't be judged adversely

Well, I support Milan since 1982, 1983, when our team was simply ATROCIOUS... so that's not the point. As fans, we have plenty of reasons to very very very ANGRY with the current board.
And Drucurl, count me in!

I think you're a bit unclear on the concept dude...I love Milan and of course I don't think the A.C. milan sucks....but our team currently is $#!t because we're so woefully incomplete BOTH from a footballing perspective (fullbacks & CAM) and mentally due to Berlu's utterly ineffective mind games....so if you're going to say Milan suck...you're better off saying "we suck" so you don't sound like an Inter fan

Dru i understand exactly where you are coming from...i feel the same exact way and so do most of the fans in milano cuz they were singing for kaka now a former milan player i dont know if this has ever happened...how embrassing for berlu and galliani to sit there and listen to the fans chanting kaka's name....this shows how much the managment has changed
