L'attaccante bosniaco ha annunciato dal suo sito internet ufficiale l'accordo con il club campione di Germania nel quale però è stata inserita una clausola rescissoria pari a 20 Milioni di €, cifra molto più bassa rispetto ai 30 milioni chiesti dal suo club durante la trattativa con i rossoneri e sicuramente più abordabile anche per lo stesso Milan che aveva presentato un'offerta da 22 milioni di €, ossia due in più rispetto al prezzo fissato nel nuovo accordo contrattuale siglato con il Wolfsburg. Wait, is the buy-out clause effective immediately? This is huge news. I'm guessing it's not, and it activates in a year. Can anybody clarify this?

Edit: **** yeah, I think this is the same deal that got Melo to Juve. Dzeko to Milan this summer. Come on Galliani, make it happen!

Edit 2: Milan and Dzeko probably threatened to have him leave for free, or buy out his own contract which was peanuts. They had to sign him to a new contract so his fee is fixed, and they don't lose him for nothing. If Milan put their money where their mouth is and pay the 20, he's ours. If not, Dzeko wins because he has a huge contract and Wolfsburg keep their star. Everybody wins, I think.

I sure hope this is going somewhere. Worst case scenario, he's here in a year; but after seeing the Inter game and how much it reminded me of our Kaka-less games last year... I want him now.

If Dzeko rumours are true, and we can buy him now, then i would have no problem even letting Pirlo go, i think Elano and Dzeko would both do well for this team.

Boriello i think may be like Milans version of Kuyt, a good striker, but not a goal scorer. i do not think he will score the same amount he did for Milan over the next 3 seasons that he scored for genoa in the one year(i think it was about 21)

i hope we can get elano and the problem with pirlo is we're not using em like with the azzuri, secco can stick it where the sun dont shine, alotta teams dont want to sell a player guess what? you cant stop it!

Regarding the discussion about Borrielo, I think it´s still too early(no one can be judged for good or bad in the preseason) to give up on the guy...

I always had my doubts about Borrielo...As I always wrote here, one thing is to shine in Genoa and other in a big club like Milan. For example, everytime I wrote about a new player coming from Brazil, I take that in consideration. As talented as they are, if the guy isn´t carring a big team in Brazil, it will be hard to perform in a big club in Europe. Thats why I was against that crazy moviment here in MM about Vargas. People were crazy saying that do not to buy Vargas was a huge mistake and all...every year is the same, there is always a player that is must buy here that I really don´t understand.

Thats why I´m still defend L. Fabiano over the others options for the Center Forward position. This guy besides to be class, can cope with pressure of to play for Brazil NT(the most unfair fans in the world)and of to shine in the big stage.

Now Elano...a good player, but to spend our non-Eu spot(sorry if he has a Eu passport) on him is another huge mistake. Elano is what it is, a good squad player for a big team like Milan. If you have a great midfield, he can be the last part of the puzzle...a guy to do the tactic work but with quality. But nothing more...

Also, besides to be a good guy, he´s always blaming the coaches for to be on the bench(Shaktar, M. City), when he is the one that need to show more consistence. Even with Ramires playing a average Confederations Cup(normal thing for a Brazil NT "rookie"), he was able to send Elano to the bench easily.

We are in no position to bargain right now, period! In the past I was ok with that aproach because our squad was balanced, but not now. Just look at last season...whats the point to save a few millions now if they woulbd be spended in a player like Senderos(Oliveira) in January?

I was always a support of our managment in the past, but right now(3 years and counting), I can´t do it anymore. They are treading the wrong way...

P.S: Even if a reinforcement came, it will be in a wrong time for a team with a new coach and with so much questions to solve...also, some positions will receive reinforcements with 3 years of delay

No Berlu said our squad is strong enough and we will not buy anyone this summer

AS long as Mr. 4 time CL winner is playing for Milan, Milan are full of champions and has more quality than Inter, on top of that, Milan already signed/recalled Abate, Zigoni, Di Gennaro, Beretta, T. Silva, Oddo, Stori and Gouch. Thats 8 new signings, name another team that had done that this summer. Then there are, Nesta, Kala, Bonera, and Borreillo are coming back from long injuries, so they are like new signings. Plus, Viduz and Cardacio rarely never played last year and will feature this year, so they are new signings. Thats a total of 14 new faces than last season squad. And to think that it is not even Sept 1, 09 yet, Milan does rule the TRANSFER MARKET.

Can't wait for the arrival of Bobo Veiri, Edgar Davids and Pannucci to complete the GRANDE MILAN TEAM.

we need to keep pirlo. when he didnt play against club america the other day it was so obvious that he wasnt there. he needs to be retained. you dont sell stars so you can buy middle of the pack players. that doesnt make you a better team
