I am not going to go on about why Rossi is not the RIGHT signing for MIlan at this point as I stated that already.

I am going to get into why this is more of a hack or fake news than real news.

1. IT is being rumor that it was on the Official website for 30 secs or 3 minutes... either way it is a very very short time for anyone to even notice. Ask yourself this, would be you hawking over AC MILAN website 24/7? Or would any fans do that?
Now all journalists know that the official website is really the last place you look for rumors and news regarding the team as they only report what everyone else had done so. So why would jounralists be hawking over the AC Milan website instead of where Briada and Galli is at present?

2. The website only post things that had been sent out from the higher up. As I doubt the website manager will be invited to have meeting with Briada, Leo and Galli on a daily basis about Milan's transfer or trainning. Therefore, unless the MGT send a memo saying they have signed Rossi(making the deal official) and post the news, the website Manager would then only know that Rossi has been signed. If the MGT did send down a memo to the website manager about the Rossi signing, it would only mean Rossi is a MIlan player barring a medical or DENTAL CHECKUP. If that is the case, why do the MGT take away the news? On top of that, if the talk of Rossi is indeed going on, I am 100% sure some journalist would have already dug it up and be all over the news media by now. Pls don't use the Gooch deal as it just happened. The diff. is that Gooch is a free transfer and it is a lot quicker than dealing with a team.

3. I just think this is a way for the MGT to keep the fans from being angry.

That is a crazy suggestion! But, I agree, let's stop speculating now!

Fiorentina Reconsidering Swoop For Sao Paulo’s Miranda – Report

With Fiorentina making no secret of their desire to bring in a top central defender before the start of the season, it seems the Viola are ready to turn their attentions back to Sao Paulo's Miranda, after making heavy work in luring current targets Luisao and Diego Lugano to the Franchi.

According to reports from the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Viola have only come halfway on Benfica’s valuation of Luisao. With Diego Lugano available on a free transfer, the Gigliati have been scared off by the Uruguayan’s wage demands, which are well above the club’s current cap.

With funds available following the sale of Felipe Melo, sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has turned his attentions back to highly-rated Sao Paulo defender Miranda. After being heavily linked with a summer switch to Milan, the Viola are well aware of the players €14m buyout clause.

With just over a month to go before the end of the transfer window, the Viola could well be ready to pounce as their search for a centre-back continues.

this is a bad offer! We dont need pizarro who is not milan class!! and 12m is just not enough. 20-25m for him seems more realistic. but we need to sign a good replacement!! Aquilani/Hernanes

Chelsea is just acting like Milan in trying to lowball the other team. Nothing wrong with an offer of Pizarro + 12mil for Pirlo. As MIlan had been dishing out the same type of offer for players. I think at the end Pirlo will be gone for about 20mil.

If Pirlo goes he must be replaced with who IDK not many to choose from , but Id take Pizzaro hes a battering ram good in the air handy dribbler and a great shot, so with the 20 they have and the 12 from Pirlo thats 32 million replace Pirlo and get a decent LB , wishful thinking but its not a bad idea.

After officially announcing the arrival of Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o, Inter’s summer spending is set to continue today with the signing of Barcelona midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Arsenal man’s agent, Maurizio Gaudino, will fly in to Barcelona today to sort out the final details of the transfer.

The deal will see Hleb join the Beneamata on loan with a view to making the move permanent for €10 million next summer, while the Spaniards have also reportedly agreed to pay 70 per cent of his wages.

Inter are also poised to bring to an end the transfer saga involving Twente forward Marko Arnautovic. Technical director Marco Branca and transfer consultant Gabriele Oriali will meet with the player’s representative and the Dutch club's officials tomorrow.

The highly-rated 20-year-old’s transfer had been delayed in recent weeks due to Inter’s concerns over a stress fracture to his right foot.

But the player is undergoing treatment at Appiano Gentile and Inter have successfully persuaded Twente to release him on loan, with the option to make the transfer permanent for €9 million.

Report: Parma Torn Between Valeri Bojinov & Marcelo Zalayeta
The Man City hitman could join the Ducali on loan, but President Ghirardi is considering a €10m bid for the Uruguayan.

Parma directors are working around the clock to find a strike partner for Alberto Paloschi after Cristiano Lucarelli opted to re-join Livorno, and the Emiliani have apparently narrowed down their choice to Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov and Uruguayan Marcelo Zalayeta, who is co-owned by Juventus and Napoli.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Parma are prepared to put up to €10 million on the table to lure ‘El Panteron’ to the Stadio Tardini after the 30-year-old announced last week that his future lies away from Turin and Naples.

But La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Parma are also pondering a cheaper option in the form of Bojinov, who looks set to leave Manchester City following the arrivals of Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz and Emmanuel Adebayor.

The former Fiorentina man is said to be keen on a return to the peninsula and has been linked with Palermo and Lazio this week, but the Emiliani have now reportedly stepped to the head of the queue to secure his services on loan.

Vince Masiello, Goal.com

I want to see ALberto play alongisde Zalayeta. it would be great for his experience.....

IMO, he is nothing special. He is just being hype as the next big thing in the British Islands.

I would pin my hope in Alertazzi than Bale.

So mrki to answer your ? he is of Samp od Udinese class not what Milan need to challenge for the league and CL no better Antonini or Janku.
But if he stepped up his defensive game and became more solid he might be a good purchase for the future , he is young and if he proggreses beyond the level he is at at the moment he'll be good but not for this season.

So maybe we should buy him and groom him wouldn't pay more than 8 million euros though.

According to the Daily Mail, Milan would also get Mancienne:

Chelsea table Andrea Pirlo offer that would see Pizarro and Mancienne head to AC Milan

Last updated at 10:34 AM on 28th July 2009

Chelsea have been linked with an £8.6million move for AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo that would see Claudio Pizarro and England Under 21 defender Michael Mancienne go in the other direction.

Reports in Italy have long been expecting 30-year-old Pirlo to follow his former boss Carlo Ancelotti to Stamford Bridge, despite Milan's insistence that he is not for sale and the player saying he is happy to stay at the San Siro.

But Ancelotti is a huge admirer of his former Rossoneri lynchpin and has sanctioned a formal move for the Italy international, according to newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Catch me if you can: AC Milan captain Andrea Pirlo (right) gives potential future Chelsea team-mate Andriy Shevchenko the runaround in Baltimore last week

Chelsea captain John Terry revealed this week that owner Roman Abramovich had assured him that the club were still ambitious and ready to sign star players.

Capturing the midfield author of Italy's 2006 World Cup success would be a start.

Ciao! Claudio Pizarro (right) tries to get to know Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso a bit better

With Milan desperate to sign a striker, Chelsea are willing to offload Peru international Pizarro, as well as offering Mancienne on a year's loan.

The Italian giants have failed to land any of their three favoured targets to lead the forward line. Wolfsburg have dismissed all admirers of Edin Dzeko, Sevilla have priced Luis Fabiano well above what the Italians are prepared to pay and long-term target Emmanuel Adebayor left Arsenal for Manchester City.

Milan fear they will be priced out of a move for Real Madrid's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Pizarro could be the perfect solution, though they are also considering Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner.

Bright future: Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne in action against Club America in Arlington at the weekend

Pizarro, 30, tempted Milan last season while impressing on loan at Werder Bremen, though, conversely, impressing Ancelotti then has tempted the Italian to give him a chance at Chelsea.

Pizarro is under contract for another two years and happy to make a go of things in London if he gets opportunities to play in the first team.

Milan boss Leonardo also wants a defender, particularly a left-back, and are thought to admire Mancienne's versatility, even if the 21-year is more comfortable with his right foot.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo....html?ITO=1490

I actually have always liked Pizarro. He was a great goalscorer in Bundesliga (and was so last year back on loan to Werder Bremen). He just never got much of a chance at Chelsea. I think he would be better suited for Italy anyway.

But the guy I would love to get from Chelsea is Franco Di Santo. I know Chelsea wouldn't give him up for Pirlo, but if they were willing to offer him and Mancienne I'd jump at that.
