Any way, Leonardo just countered Silvio saying that young people arent enough. They are good for future plans, but for the current season we need more.

also though i am not a fan of huntelaar now as i was in the past, i think we should just go wholesale and buy Heinze, Huntelaar and Van Der Vaart. I am sure Perez will give us some discount if we take all 3, maybe include a seedorf swap, idk. its just a taught, maybe we can get all 3 at 35mil. or 28 and seedorf.

A definite step up from our previous coach.

But will the management listen to him? I am doubtful. Either he will quit or they will fire him, incase these "different opinions" will clash etc.

Pirlo is 8 months younger than Pizarro. So, we would be getting older, and trading a good player (who ppl want to get rid of cause he isnt quite the superstar he once was) for an older player, who has never had more than 19 goals in a season (just like Boriello). So we are thinking about trading a former superstar for a older average journeyman. Has this seriously what we have come to as a team? Change just for the sake of change is harmful.

Also, Pirlo is one of the most respected players on the team. He is very close with Gattuso, Nesta, Inzaghi, Zambrotta, Ambrosini, etc. Selling him has the potential to really screw with the team's chemistry.

Been on vacation to Europe for couple of weeks and really really enjoyed it. And now, I just want to say something about this mercato we are having here.

While everyone else is signing players to improve the team, we are standing around like we are too talented for new players. That would make sense, if we hadn't gotten our asses handed to us by Inter the last 4 years. After wave and wave of BS storm, I have concluded that the problem for Milan this mercato is rather simple, we have no money. The fact of matter is, we probably have 14-15 mil euros to spend this summer altogether. And that, as most of you can agree with me, is not going to land us anything meaningful at all.

Knowing this, I have come to realize that it is moronic for me to expect any good signings from this team this mercato and I have accepted that as the reality of things. So, here, I advice all my brothers and sisters in this forum to also accept this fact as soon as you can. The longer you have any expectations, the longer you will have to suffer the pain B&G will bring you. So, be wise, lay back and enjoy your life rather than focus on this pathetic group of jackasses called Milan management we have here.

Leonardo dosen't seem to want Pizzarro.
Quoted from Corriere Dello Sport, Leonardo is talking about the possible move to Chelsea for Pirlo.
"«Non voglio dire nulla perchč non so nulla di questa trattativa, se c'č. Pronunciarmi anche su un giocatore come Pizarro non lo trovo corretto»."

Translation:
"I don't want to speak of this, because I don't know anything about this deal, if it exists. But a player like Pizzaro I don't find to be the right player."

Good Leo! Show them who's boss!

Berlusconi is a scumbag. When we said we wanted a young team, we didn't mean that should come as a result of wanting to reduce the wage bill. We should have a blend of older and younger players--that is how teams win.

It really does hurt to hear Berlusconi talk like this. It seems that we will not go for any big players now. That will be down to Juve and Inter.

A pathetic and repulsive man who is ruining this club etc. etc. etc.

if it was mind games, then they should be united(leo with b&g)..the way leonadro reacts to all this is a gr8 indication that we are in trouble..

i love leo's attitude..that was what i hated most on carlo..

A little late on this topic but those are my sentiments exactly. I really couldn't care less about what the media says, no way would Milan be able to pick up on that sort of hack within seconds, never mind remove it so quickly too.

As Eric mentioned too, if it was a hack then why use Rossi's name? Surely another more high profile name or one that Milan have been actively after in the last few months would make sense (i.e. Dzeko, Fabiano, Huntelaar et al). Considering Villareal just got Nilmar who's a very similar player to Rossi, it seems possible that Rossi would be sold, as just a month or two ago he admitted to wanting to go back to Italy (I'm aware he's said he will stay in Villareal in the past day or so).

I don't want to raise hopes and I'm rather pessimistic of Rossi coming (I'm fairly confident nothing will come out of it), but this story seems to have too many uncertanties for a simple hack.

Anyway, it's about as exciting as the news has been today, which is rather disappointing (something I'm sure all of us are getting used to).

Younger players do not means anyone under 23, it means anyone younger 28, ahhahahaa.

For real by declaring that he only wants MIlan to sign players under 23. Won't that just ruled out Henernez, Dzeko, G. Rossi, and Luis. And now I finally understand why those deals won't work and why Milan did not even approach Melo, Ibra, Eto, Ade, Tevez, Diego, Milito, Lucio, Motta, Helb, CR7, Abidol and Maxell, it all makes sense.

honestly, the way this transfer season is going i am starting to wish that we bought sheva back for cheap at the end of last season like we could have, and then actually gave him a shot this year to show what he can still do

Couldn´t agree more...

Also, in the last 2 or 3 years Pirlo gave us only 4 or 5 great games...Pirlo and Seedorf aren´t the same amazing player they were in the past. A few great games in a year isn´t enough for a player to be a starter in Milan(at least for me).

The problem is that Pirlo is Italian(and a low profile guy), so he don´t get the bash Seedorf receive for the level that he´s playing. Look, the so "infamous Dida" had more great games than Pirlo last season, and in a position that you can´t have a little flaw because it could cust a game. If it wasn´t for some amazing saves in close games last season, Milan would be out of the Champions this year...

Still remeber the Farbregas goal that eliminated us of CL...Pirlo effort was a shame! But in a strange way people only remember that a better keeper than Kalac could have saved that shot(true)...

Still, for some reason(I know which the reason), he does not receive the bash that others underpeformers receive(deservedly) here...
