1. It's only pre-season.
2. We all knew it will be like this.

There are a few positives to this.
Our players are exhausted, the USA tour was total crap from training point of view but probably very beneficial from the marketing perspective.
That is the reason for yesterday's meltdown in the end of the game. Playing Kaladze didn't help, and I think Leonardo won't repeat that mistake.

The only game we played our best formation, the Chelski game, we weren't that bad.
Leonardo is aware we need new players, LB,ST,CM. Just like we've been saying here for the last few years.
We will probably buy somebody and will be competitive next season.
Remember, most of our transfers are handled in secret, don't fall for every crap that appears in the press.

Serie A&CL material? No way, but at least we'll be able to avoid relegation.

I'm going to use OmniSport.tv for now, just to try it out. its in High Defenition and I want to try it out, I also wanna use this one for the Serie A when I cant see it on TV. I dont mind if I have to pay, many times those free streams bring me a lot of frustration with their buffering and bad quality, so...

If this is Leo's Milan, sign me up. I've never seen Milan press their opponents this deep into their own half; even R80 and Pato are chipping in (a day after playing 45+ against Bayern). Obviously, Oddo is our weak spot, but Antonini isn't so hot either. This game depends on great full backs, as you rip the ball away from the opponents around the half way line and spread it wide quickly to counter. Oddo is stupid and he seems to be playing in his own little world.

Thiago Silva is looking really really really really good. Gooch is improving, but he still needs some intensive re-education.

I'm changing my mind about Abate. He could be a starter. Flamini and Abate will transform our midfield.

Pirlo who?

I liked Thiago's goal, he seems useful for corners (something we've been lacking over the past few years).

Oddo's terrible, he's all over the place positionally, and in possession at the back he looks less than convincing.

Oddo and antonini simply arent good enough. we need a cafu type of player! also zambrotta isnt the same anymore. when I thnk about it, Cissokho couldve been a FANTASTIC signing

Still only have the Varese scalp to show for all our troubles this pre-season..

performance was a little better but far from good! still too slow and some stupid faults in defence.

good:
abate: he is full of engergy! dissapeared a little in the 2nd half
gattuso: won many balls

borriello: was more involved in the second half and did well as target man, assisted the goal but shouldve scored himself!

bad:
Pato: looks out of form! shouldve scored at least 1
Oddo: really bad!

We have nothing to show for this pre-season except that:
a) it was wrong to sack Carlo
b) it was wrong to sell Kaka
c) it was wrong to appoint an inexperienced coach
d) it was wrong not to reinforce the squad

And Varese isnt a scalp...its dandruff.
