Interesting... very interesting. Yet confusing.

EDIT: why can't Genoa buy Dida and Amelia if they sell Rubinho? it's possible.
Maybe because Genoa surely can't afford to have a reserve goalkeeper earning 4 million per year? Just like us...

Chelsea Ready To Increase Offer For Milan's Andrea Pirlo – Report
Carlo Ancelotti is showing no signs of ending his pursuit for one of his former players, and is ready to accede to the Rossoneri's demands...

Another of the summer's long-running transfer sagas has taken another twist as reports suggest that Chelsea will increase their offer for Andrea Pirlo, while Milan appear to have taken a step towards lining up his replacement.

According to English tabloid The Daily Mirror, Chelsea are ready to increase their first offer of €9.5 million plus Claudio Pizarro to €11.8m plus the South American.

This second offer is believed to be more acceptable to Milan's directors, who are intending to use Pizarro as a bargaining chip of their own in a deal for Sevilla's Luis Fabiano.

The Rossoneri will still require a replacement for Pirlo, should he make the move to London, and reports are suggesting that Leonardo is lining up Mahamadou Diarra. The Real Madrid midfielder missed much of last season through injury, but could find his place under threat if Xabi Alonso completes his move to the Spanish capital.

hmm fabregas doesn't really look possible at all but hey neither did Kaka...and I do remember someone here in April mentioning that we will be signing Fabregas this summer as he found out from an 'inside source'..imo thats a load of bull though.

and yeah TMW is a really bad newspaper, we should ignore it.... and goal.com is reporting that the supposed meeting between Galliani & Berlusconi today has been postponed to Wednesday...

I want Hernanes...... Supposedly, he is far more versatile than Pirlo. Diarra is a tough nut, and we have Flamini, Gatusso and Ambro for that!

If we replace Pirlo with Diarra, oh boy..... check out our midfield.

Gattuso-Diarra-Flamini
--------Dinho-----------
-----Pato----CF--------

Or if we dont get a CF (which will probably happen if we keep up the "good" work), we could opt for a killer defensive team:

Gattuso--Ambro--Diarra--Flamini
-----------------Dinho
---------Pato

The ideal team for playing against big teams, we would play just like the small teams in Serie A who play the catenaccio tactic.
