I guess I am sceptical of Huntelaar's arrival mostly because I am prejudiced towards poachers... well except for Super Pippo

still, I would take another Pato over Huntelaar any day

anyone remember Galliani saying "Boriello is three times the player huntelaar is?"

funny that he signs him now, what a fkin hypocrite. can't believe we signed huntelaar, i actually had some faith that we would get a super player this summer.... my god I cant believe why the f are most of you happy here.... you can't praise the management today and then criticize them next month.... anyway i'm not really convinced with huntelaar as he is a similar player to Gila, let's just hope he has more character than that little girl gila....dang I'm disappointed we got him, I really thought we might have gone for Dzeko or some other superstar player to replace Kaka.... damn. The only good thing about this is that we got Huntelaar rather than Fabiano. Anyway good luck to huntelaar let's hope he scores some goals.

comon milan, wake up, we need more players..... oh yeah and pirlo staying means hernanes is not coming...... which also means we still have a non-eu spot remaining

One thing in particular that gives me hope that Huntelaar will be a success. His positional sense and instinct for goal isn't too unlike Inzaghi. Given Inzaghi's form right now, and rather the success he's had under Leo thus far, it bodes well for Hunterlaar.

At Ajax Huntelaar's record is undisputable (in fact, generally in Holland). As a national team player his record is excellent thus far and at Real, despite the questions about 8 goals in 20 games, let's not forget many of those games he came on as a sub and generally had to try and fit into a disjointed and awkward side halfway through a season. His record at Real isn't at all bad given the circumstance imo.

Quite honestly, I'm not Huntelaar's biggest fan, but given his record so far in his career, which is unquestionable I do have high hopes for him should he come to Milan. As for comparing him to Gila, both are different players really. Gila in his career hasn't done too badly, and that includes his time at Milan (an average of 0.4 goals per game isn't particularly bad, especially given the problems he had in his time at Milan). However, Gila's stats at this point don't compare at all to Huntelaar's. Gila's career average is 0.4 goals per game, whilst Huntelaar's is 0.7. We need to factor in the different leagues, but let's face it, that's a huge difference.

If the Pato-Huntelaar association can be as effective as the Sheva-Inzaghi association ... I'd take 10 times Pato and 10 times Huntelaar ...

Didn't Dzeko just have that amazing year lasst year? (but thats all right?)

I remember pretty well most of the people on this site were praying for this guy to come to us last jan. So i am personaly very happy.

Can someone who know much more about football and these players tell me. On paper only who is the best player Fabiano, Klaas, or Dzeko. ?

Dzeko is a less proven player than Huntelaar. thats a fact. Dzeko played well last season, and im not saying he isnt a great player, but Huntelaar is more proven. He is an ideal partner for Pato, and he has everything it takes to be a superstar

In my opinion Fabiano would've been the perfect partner for Pato, since I think Pato and Ronaldinho would've been better off playing with a goalscorer who is also extremely technical than with a pure goal-scorer, but given his price and age compared to Huntelaar I can see why we signed him instead.

Anyways let's hope for loads of goals if we get him, will be interesting. Haven't heard a word from him or his agent though, will be interesting to hear. It's pretty funny how different the agent of Fabiano and the agent of Huntelaar acts.

Considering many of you swore we wouldn't sign ANY player I can't see why the same people would be unhappy about this :P

to be fair, for me it is a surprise we actually signed someone! but its not enough! Huntelaar is an excellent finisher and can score goals with his eyes closed, but out team lacks creativity!!! its too slow and predictable, we also need a creative mid and a fast/attacking fullback!

there you go fellas priority number 1 has been solved, im happy with huntelaar tall (6'1") fast dutch striker no injuries and almost guaranteed to start for the oranje, now i herd that arsenal has a board meeting tommorow, the reason i have no idea,so now a LB and a attacking midfielder, pirlo can distribute and gattuso or flamini can backup or we might stop playing with 2 defensive midfielders all the time so now cesc fabregas is the target or atleast look how much arsenal will let him go? great thing fellas is that you can drive from milano to barcelona by car and be there in a couple of hours, things are looking better fellas let's raise the spirits around here!

Huntelaar is an OK signing although I would have preferred Fabiano or Dzeko.
15M is bit of a steal though, considering Real bought him for 27M. So that's pretty positive for us.

Keep dreaming about Fabregas and I don't know what car you're driving but it takes more than a couple of hours to travel from Barcelona to Milan.

Agreed, I like the fact that we're signign Huntelaar. Dzeko is a good player, but he could prove to be a one-season wonder, we don't know. I guess some of you remember when we signed a certain Javi Moreno after one good season at Alaves in Spain... It's not always turning out well.
