You call that diminished?

I wouldn't call it diminished however you lose alot of quality when you lose Kaka and he is irreplaceable.

To get a striker after Kaka was a NECESSITY. Now for a LB, and we will all be happy. Good to see Pirlo stay as well!
dont you think we need much more creativity in this team?
only a fullback isnt enough IMO!

I will be happy to see Hunter come I would of preffered Dzeko but Hunter is a quality striker.

But he isn't a Milanista yet I will wait until he arrives until I start thinking about how he will play .

If its over 3 years something like 5 mil a year hopefully there is 15 + mil left would that get Hernanes.

The defence needs to be fixed Nesta is quality when fit but again when fit.

We are all saying the same things and I presume (is presumption dangerous..lol) that MGT know aswell.

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
We need a top fullback to come assuming Huntelaar joins (Galliani has confirmed he'll be in Milan tonight).

De Laurentis has told Marino Napoli must sell players immediately. We should target Santacroce imo.

I will take your post 1983, just because you touch in some good points.
First of all, Huntelaar of the 3(Fabiano, Dzeko and himself) was my last choice. So I´m really not happy as others here...

That said, if he become a Milan player, I will wish him the best, and that he makes me feel like a fool for doubting him.

Afonso Alves record in Eredivisie was also amazing, but everyone know what hapened in Brazil NT and in EPL. What bothers me in Huntelaar numbers in Ajax is that he always had a hard time when faced with the only high level defense at that time in Holland...PSV.

Also, he can´t lead Ajax to go through a Qualy. of Champions League in his years there. I really don´t have faith that he will deliver wtih the pressure to score for Milan. To be fair he´s more experienced now than in Ajax, but I dont believe. Also, I saw his goals at Real and the majority came against poor teams. At Milan, with our poor service, he will need to change his style.

I don´t know...it´s a huge difference but also it´s a huge difference between the leagues type of football. Teams in Eredivisie with their 4-3-3 schemes are always very exposed(besides Hiddink and Koeman PSV´s). In Italy he will face 10 men in the box in almost all games, and will need to create his own chances...and as I said before, with our famous service Huntelaar will see how hard is to be a Milan striker nowadays

I´m really not happy...
Some fair points there. About Alves, I think there was a deeper problem for his failure at Middlesborough. He apparently scored 6 in 11 Premiership match in his first season, which is pretty good, but it's the second season he had a shocking dive. However, a difference between him and Huntelaar is Huntelaar's already shown in Spain he can succeed at the highest level, and Huntelaar's been consistent in the dutch league for a number of years more than Alves was there.

In Italy he'll face tougher defences, and maybe he only scores against weaker opponents, but I think we have to be prepared to take a risk and hope he works out. If we don't do this we could argue against many great players, like Van Basten, Gullit, Weah maybe, Kaka and Pato. What he has shown so far in his career he deserves a chance in a top club (a proper chance, not Real ).

Please stop mentioning Grosso as an option Pirlofanusa. He only plays ok for italy and is horrendous at club level, as well as being 32. An italian janku if you will, without the occasional goal or good cross. Get Zapata to cover lb, so we can leave 3 in def, with rb going forward - antonini, abate, zambro, play one def mid - flamini, gattuso, ambro, and get a box to box mid too, or at least see if Abate or Di Gennaro could be developed into that player. Abate for passion could be, whilst technically Di Gennaro could be the new Pirlo.

Huntelaar will arrive in Milan this evening, then we will perform his medical and he will sign the contract

With Real Madrid there is already an agreement on everything, Galliani told Sky Sport 24

Also, even wanting Fabiano, I would trade him in anyday for a great defender. Can´t see how people are confortable with only Nesta and T. Silva as our only reliable defenders.

Even more young, Nesta always have injure problems...can´t see how he will stay healthy for the next season...and we will be one more time with Khaladze or Favalli at the back.

I sure hope Onyeiwo(sp?) find his form of Confederation Cup. Never saw him playing in such a high level as South Africa. But the odds aren´t good...

Fabiano, Huntelaar, Hernanes(is starting to find his best form)or even a new Lb will not help ou cause when Nesta(unfortunly) goes down

Brasileiro my dear friend i really hoped for fabiano, i really have high hopes of him, i like the ways he plays but as you noticed milan love to get unnecessary targets. but what can we say he is our player now so heads down, we have to support him i am still hoping for milan to sign hernanes because i feel leonardo wants him so bad. i hope leonardo convinced B&G about the importance to have a dynamic player like hernanes in our midfield. plus we still got one non-euro spot so i pray and hope it will be available for hernanes but who are we kidding milan aint gonna spend this kind of money (14 mil at least).

the best news is yet to come, i dont know how reliable is the le republica, but it claims that we are going to trade Kaladze for De silvestre . if this happens i would forgive the management for kaka honestly .

Isnt it that what we lacked last couple of years, scoring against smaller/weeker opponents. I hope he scores againts the smaller teams, he can create space for Pato to score against the big names.

with upcoming Huntelaar to milan at least will provide more upgrading at attack dep. than what we saw in friendlies. comparing The Hunter with other strikers been targetted by milan (fabiano & dzeko), i agree fabiano is a better option than huntelaar (not considering the money have to be splashed out) but i wont give opinion him above or below dzeko caused i never saw dzeko even in a single 90min match either at club or NT.
he is scary trust me i watched him in many occasions and this guy has no mercy at all. he literally slaughtered FC bayern 4 - 1 he scored twice and grafite twice. but the most intresting player in wolfsburg is misomovic(sp?) this guy is a classic midfielder and a goal scorer.

the transfer fee for huntelaar is 12.5 mil euros. we pay 4 now and the rest next year. so let us say we have 25 mil for transfers ???
let us hope kaladze de silvestre deal go throught ( we pay extra 3 mil)
we will have like 18 mil to spend. we can bring in hernanez

Maybe Leonardo will teach him to use it. Or maybe Gattuso (177 cm and 77 kg).

------

Any ways, according to La Gazzetta: Huntelaar will be landing in Milano at 14.00... (2 hrs from now!)

Brasileiro you are always prefering Brazilian players above other players just because youre a Brazilian and i understand that, you have seen Fabiano playing since he was a youngster, thats why you are more excited about him then Huntelaar, because you know how fantastic Luis is and you havent seen Huntelaar play on a regular basis, while i have, and thats why i am also excited about Hunter instead of Fabiano, because we both know how great the players are.....but please, dont say that Hunter isnt good enough, not proven etc....because you are making a fool about yourself.

Not being arrogant, but the only person who can judge Huntelaar really am i,and nobody else, maybe Filipez because he lives near Limburg in Holland, but the rest of you dont know him well enough to judge, you only seen the highlights from his small Real period,i only can judge because i know him by far the best and im telling you guys,he is simply the heir of RVN.

If anyone wants to know what his strong or weak points are, whether he contributes at the team play, whether he uses his body, how he is in the air and on the ground, can he work together with Pato???Just ask and i will give you the answer.
