Unless he hasn't realized milan need replacements because in my eyes the only money he invests is in strikers, half of them turning out to be useless and the other half being the worlds best, he really just gambles amongst strikers he never once spent a good 20mill on a decent defender.
One more thing i find wrong with our management is they rely to much on our youth team just to keep fans quiet i guess? but then when these so called upcoming kakas and upcoming ronaldos and upcoming serginhos get to our team they get 2 games per season? maybe 5-6 at max? half those being friendlies.. then get sold to teams like beurdoux or however u spell it to become the top player in france, great going milan! Hopefully these great youths get to play under Leonardo, maybe it was just ancelotti that made them look like failures when they had so much potential
The value of the money Berlusconi has isn't only in ... money. It is also all the things he owns like the firms, villas, etc.

We maybe need a classical CAM (so not someone playing or trying to play like Kaka'). The best ones were Gourcuff and Diego, they are now unavailable, so maybe we should look for one of the best CAM in the youth teams to be a replacement for Ronaldinho ... a guy who will have time to develop as Ronaldinho isn't too much injury-prone and Seedorf or Pirlo can play in his place if really needed.

One other thing i keep pondering -- what ever happened to signing Rossi? wasn't it posted up on official milan website and then just disappeared? There had to be a reason for that:S

Here's the link for those of you who haven't been updated on that yet.

Honestly, I think Galliani is aware of this.
At the beginning of the mercato we seemed like we were active on all fronts. When we actually "signed" Cissokho in mid June, then there was this invisible hand which made us want to lower the price (maybe rightly so if he really does have serious problems)... the hand of Berlusconi.
Galliani would be more active.. but he has zero funds.

I heard on the news last night that Real Madrid have actually given Milan a priority on all their players until August 30th (one day before the closing of the mercato).

That means nothing and everything at the same time ... If a club tries to buy Sneijder today for 25M, Real won't wait for us to move too and accept a 10M offer for example. That just means that if we make the same offer as another club, the deal will be automatically accepted for us (if accepted for the other club).

Saliwonczyk, we have the money to buy a big striker as Berlusconi said he gave the funds to buy one ... as Huntelaar seems to cost 15M, and like it seemed to be our initial budget, so we have something like extra 20M to buy what we want.

A FB + an offensive midfielder wouldn't be luxury ...
Our midfield is full of defensive ones: Ambrosini, Gattuso, Flamini. Our only really offensive midfielder is Ronaldinho. Pirlo and Seedorf can be seen like players who should be links between the defence, the midfield and the attack, but Pirlo, by playing just in front of our defence, doesn't do it well, and Seedorf can't play more than two games in a row, so I think we need someone else: to be this link between our defence, midfield and attack, or someone able to take the place of Ronaldinho to rest him (because I think it's obvious that Leonardo is going to try to use Ronaldinho as our main player, so he will play a lot of games, and it's not sure he will be able to do it after 2 years with few games).

EDIT: Di Genarro isn't really a midfielder, and he isn't really a pure striker too ... how can he be called ?

how rich is this albanian dude exactly? it definitely sounds like a pro to me, especially if that means investing more cash into the transfer market.. but the fishy thing about him is that he's been linked with buying Bologna for the longest time and the deal just never went through.

Apparently we're after Vargas (milannews). An interesting option imo.

Well Fiorentina bought him last year for 7.5m and he only started to impress towards the end of the campaign. I don't know if they'll want to sell him, and I also don't know if they'll want to sell him to us in a price that we'd want to buy him at.

Interesting for our attack ... he showed in Fiorentina that he has a lot of potential for going forward or even playing like a winger, but defensively ... it's not a good option.

The Dude is rich actually..He was the man that arranged(read financed) the two friendlies that we played in Albania this year.

However I dont think he is that rich to make a diffrence at MIlan. maybe just this mercato he can.

He is an OIL taycun, and funny thing he is bussiness partners with Moratti, but has very close connections with Berlu too.

I dont know how much will he affect the team in a positive way, but I will be happy if this happen just because I`m albanian too.
