i dont think snejder is the right one too,he would have to play on kaka's role, and that cant be done..we also cant fit dinho-hunter-pato-snejder all together or else we d be cut in 2..
well the vdv thing is all a mater of opinion, i think he will do well if given the oppurtunity, and it isnt like milan doesnt need him, we need all the help we can get. and vdv will come relatively cheap, that is the reason in which y i prefer him to sneijder. and i also prefer if Milan pick him up than say if Inter did.
Also VDV can play as a left midfielder, as seen yesterday, that is the week side, and janku is shyt.

Kaladze transfer would be a relief.

Van der vaart, is very overated. The only 'surpuls' midfielder at Real who would add something new to our team as well as quality is Sneider.

buddy how would you know that VDV is very overrated ? and why you are so certain that sneijder is the one we need? i mean have you watched VDV in ajax, Hamburg ? VDV was no less than diego in bundsleiga one of the top attacking mid fielders there, the thing i suspect in VDV is his attitude but not his game, this guy is very able to be one the of the best attacking mid fielders around...

on the other hand sneijder has a price tag of 25 mil do you truly think we would come up with such amount of money? i would take hernanez anytime over sneijder, VDV and he will only cost around 14 mil and his salary would be nothing compared to sneijder, VDV (+4 mil)

We're desperate for creativity at the moment, and IMO VdV has a better passing range and is more unpredictable than Sneijder. I'll have to go visit a Madrid forum to see why he didn't get more playing time, but in the few Madrid matches I watched, I remember him providing plenty through passes for the strikers.

based on the statistics, van der vaart seems to be the best option.

yea cause gattuso, flamini, pirlo are gona score alott of goals for us in midfield, we need either sneijder,VDV,abate, to help get the ball atleast to ronaldinho, otherwise teams are just gona pick us apart play possesion, slow the game down, and wait for someone to get out of position, then bang in the goals, after that they already know we struggle to score and i hope that when we're loosing by 1 or 2 goals that the game is not done, based on we are very unlikely to score

There is no need for VDV unless we sell Seedorf. We should be going for a left back or right back now.

Seedorf's ability is not questionable. In this decade, he has been one of the most important midfielders for us. But, can Seedorf be relied upon to play well for 50+ games? ? !

He has shown in the past that he doesn't play well when he is tired and at the age of 33 you cannot expect him play well constantly. Abate is good and can develop but I don't think he can be relied upon just yet. May be in a year's time he can become a suitable back-up but certainly not now. Hence, I would like to have an attacking midfielder to play for us for a couple of years. It doesn't matter if the new midfielder will be as young and flashing as Sneijder or VDV as long as he is good and can be relied upon.

Ronaldinho and Seedorf are the only two established attacking midfielders we have at the moment. If Ronaldinho gets injured we need to have some cover for that too.

As I said, I like VDV, I think he's a great player, but we have to be realistic. We're not playing fantasy football. For each player who comes in, you got to see if there is enough space for them in the team. Otherwise you end up with Roby Baggio when he joined Milan and sat on the bench with the rest of the superstars we bought.

Seedorf can play as back up to R80 OR left midfield OR center midfield. Abate is another one who can slot in the left midfield role. In addition, we have Flamini, Ambro, and Gattuso as defensive midfielders. Where will VDV play?

As for OM--we have R80 starting. If he gets injured Seedorf can play that role. If anything even Pirlo can play that role. Where will VDV play? I'd rather we sell Seedorf and buy him, rather than buy him and have either him or Seedorf rotting on the bench. COmmon sense.

Oh and I forgot to mention---we also have Janku to cover the left midfield role as well. My whole point is that we should SELL before we BUY, otherwise we end up with too many players and nobody gets a proper chance to establish themselves.

The only player who'd I'd buy without even thinking of selling is Fabregas. This is a player who adds another dimension to the team. Can play in any of the midfield roles and will make the team all the more dynamic as a whole....But then again, we keep dreaming as the chance of him joining Milan in the current "balance the books" climate is less than zero.

A player like VDV is not cover for anyone. This guy is starting material and will come at that sort of a price range. At present our "cover" is Di Gennaro, who honestly is looking like crap. I'd rather we play Pirlo as trequartista every once in a while or give our young Nigerians (Harmony and Odu) more chances.
