did you guys know he earned over 4 million a season. That ends up costing milan 8 million a season (double for taxes). Thats more than gattuso (since he restructured) more than ambrosini, more than literally everyone except dida (another problem), pirlo and ronaldinho. The reason we r in debt is because sqaud players like kaladze are earning star money.

Both kaladze and dida have shown little interest in restructuring the way gattuso has. And quite frankly, serie A does not generate the revenue to carry players like this. Its because of players like kaladze and dida, earning star money with no return we had to sell kaka.
A+ you said it all bud

True, but I think that the point was that he still deserves respect for what he has done, especially considering what he's been through with his brother and all.

Everyone gets old, wether they have a big contract or not is more down to the management than anyone else. Still every player that has achieved what Kaladze has with us, deserve at least the respect that we don't give him obscene names etc. no matter how poor he has been doing recently.

Anyway, I think most fans would agree that Kaladze can no longer perform at Milan level. Would be a good deal for him to I'd think, if he could move to Bayern where he is apparently wanted.

player like kakhabar doesnot deserve to get 4 mil a year i mean come on nesta makes 4. his squad status changed so must his salary i mean if he is not willing to take a wage cut then he should be sold. with due all respect to his accomplisment and his fans.

Gattuso didn't exactly sacrifice his first-born in terms of his salary cut. He's actually making more than he was before his wage reduction after signing an extension.

Meanwhile, Kala/Dida's wages are completely irrelevant to Kaka's numerous pay raises and $175K-a-week salary.

So far Inter's transfer campaign doesn't amuse me at all, and I am only talking about the transfers, not the overall team chemistry.
Are you serious? You are actually comparing our market to Inter? Sure, both team lost their best player, but other than that they are the complete opposite. You are talking about signing Huntelaar as oppose to Lucio, Motta, Milito, Eto'o and Arnautovic. It's fine if you don't think Inter will dominate the world, but to say that their market sucked and even compare it to Milan's market work is just ridiculous.

If you read into Filipéz's comment, I'm sure you'll be just as doubtful about his knowledge of football, as well as his love and objective knowledge about the team.
Lets face it, how many teams can boast about having squads of players that have won more than one champions league medal? I mean, entire squads. These guys are legends in their own rights.

Having a go with Kaladze just shows how ignorant the man has been about the club in general for the past decade, if you catch my drift.
I'm sorry, but this is really inappropriate and immature. How can you read someone's post and decide whether or not they truly love the team and are "true" fans? And BTW, who are you to be accusing others of not knowing enough about football?

People have different opinions, if you don't agree with someone, then accept it as a difference of opinion, there's no need to be passing personal judgements.

Kala's wages are probably linked to a deal he signed earlier when he was playing to the standards that the wages correspond to.....

but still, to convince jose mourinho (picky on targets) is more difficult to convince our previous coach and mgmt. i mean i don't only blame mgmt for our current situation but i also blame the coach, he never took care of his potential starters: Borriello, Gourcuff, Cardiciao?? i mean Ancelotti literally encouraged our management to go for 30+ players if he trusted more the youngsters, the mgmt would thought of investing in youngsters. i mean we lost the best play maker in the making a future golden ball winner, and we wasted more than 20 mil on borriello (8 transfer and salary difference for his old contract).

I stayed away for awhile and as much as the Huntelaar signing made me smile it still does not change the fact that we need 3 - 4 more quality signings, If I win the euromillions this week I promise to give Milan 20 million for a player...lol (I think its up to 50 or 60 million).

The market is ticking away pathetically for us Onyewu and Huntelaar are not going to make a difference as we lost Kaka and Maldini. Its really back to square 1 IMO.

However it dosn't look like we are active at the moment but still probably good enough for a CL place only this season though.

As for the Kaladze debate he has done great things for Milan and some not so great but I think he was valuable for 4 seasons.
At the moment though he is not the player he was and does not deserve the high wages he gets for the amount of minutes he plays.

Without any funny answers like I give myself from time to time is there any possibility that we will sign a wing back and a creative midfielder who can track back before the window close's ?
