Actually we ACM fans have a bit of history with KJ Huntelaar

I can't belive that fans think we are done and dusted. Apart from Barca, Chelsea, Bayern and maybe Man Utd, many so called big clubs would kill to have a squad which has quality international players like Janku, Oddo, Seedorf, Borrie, Kaladze, Ony etc as backups

I was wondering what this mercato, being nearly over, looks like at the end of the day?

And friendlies? We loose all the time. Are friendlies important? If they show your capacities at the present moment, then yes. If we loose and then say:"oh these are just friendlies and don't mean anything", then why play them in the first place?
Now, do we need reconstruction? Our Mgmt says no.


It seems that as soon as we build up a bad game or two, people tend to turn quite pessimistic.
Now, will that change anything regarding me being a Milan fan? No, but don't some of you feel that sometimes criticizing can also be interpreted as just plain and simple wanting the best for this team and not just stating the :"oh, I believe".......

I for one voted the second option mainly because of our mercato so far ,who has been nothing short of disappointing but B&G still have the time to prove us wrong .

As far as friendlies go i believe there important and besides match fitness can show you a glimpse on how the next season will be like ,but only if the friendly schedule is planned right and not chaotic at best like Milan`s was this summer .

As things stand right now ,i believe we will finish in top 4 and maybe win the champions league,but the league is out of the question.

You should def. vote for being optimistic.

We need to sell/loan/trade our dead weights. Oddo, favali, di gennaro, zigoni (loan), borrielo.

And honestly at this point just give me some player with 70% heart and 30% skills. I need more Abate's on our team. I will really start to judge Leo when the season officially begins and all the trades etc. have been done. I think this year will be a rebuilding year but at the same time i dont want every game to be, "oh i wonder how much we will lose by"

And about Gooch. Yes I'm happy because Milan have a player from the states, but at the same time i want us to give the guy a chance. He probably has trained with his new team for a total of 2 weeks tops, he doesnt know the language, thiago at least has brazilians to make him feel at home. If he sucks in Jan. ill join you guys and want him gotten rid of. But until then i think when he gels with the team we will finally have some strength in the air in defense.

Football is also a game a luck. Maybe we will get some luck going our way this year, maybe win the last 5 min of the game. There will always be maybe's.

To all the Carlo fans your coach got his ass saved today in the 90 min. LOL 2-1 over hull city at home. (wasnt hull city the last place team a year ago?)

My point is give Leo a chance, give this team a chance until Jan. Im very optimistic but im not stupid enough not to be a realist. But i cant judge after one game or two (after full team training and gelling time) but Jan is more than enough time to make some judgments.

in serie a there is inter and juve..
in europe there are 7-8 wc teams some even better than inter or juve,we have to be more than lucky to not meet any of those(thing impossible) and surpass some..if barca-manchester-chelsea for eg are on our way,we re 99% out..

there is absolutely no chance we win ch.l. as we are right now..

The logic is kind of weird, but it's kind of true: We usually do well in CL but not in Serie A. Not this year though; we don't even have quality players to do well in CL. *sigh*...

In my opinion AZ is right. We should finish in the top 4, we probably wont win the scudetto and the CL can be won by any decent side with luck on their side. It might be a slim chance, even an anorexic chance, but it is still a chance.

Most likely, a season of no trophies, not even the Berlusconi trophy.

I agree about selling /trading etc our dead weight ,problems is they aren't any teams willing to take them.Partial exchange seems the ideal solution right now and i hope fester works something out .

About the Chelsea games i have to disagree there ,they did not win only based on luck ,they dominated there opponent and were unlucky not to give them a trashing ,but i do agree luck is big part of football.

Witch brings me to my next point the champions league(see below)

Like K77SH C& Jeff pointed out the Cl is a competition were luck matters a lot and the european pedigree also counts.Sure you could argue that this side is a little worse the the 2007 champions league winning team but its also better the the 2004 Porto one .

If our players are on there best day and we have luck on our side in the knockout stages ,we can win it.

But the league is different ,you can`t expect to be lucky for that many games ,you need a squad that can bring good performances week in week out and we simply don`t have that now .

Listen guys, all these friendlies are meaningless. Actual thing starts on 22nd Aug. ACM would start winning 1-0 and after a month or so, the team would step and then you guys would see what this team can do
