sounds like milano84 and ryo are hoping milan will get lavezzi or mendez you guys have a point about the lack of fast nibble players at milan but i am more worried about the fullback players and a young talented goalkeeper. Milan aren't likely to be very successful next year so lets see what ronaldinho can do than ask for a new striker, after a year of squabbling between lavezzi and donadoni we might get him on a free transfer you never know.

I think they were referring to central midfielders who can carry the ball and help create something up front. Someone in the mold of Iniesta would be perfect. Aquilani was close but already left for Liverpool. I love Cesc too but he isn't exactly what we need.

A quality wingback and a cm who can make a move thru middle is what we need. Fast energetic players. I can keep adding to the list but that's a basic. At some point u need players who work for the team... We don't need to keep adding virtuosos from dead ball situations who sit and pass... Who r they passing too???

It's literally the opposite problem of inter who has all workers and lack the real pace setter passing to orchestrate

I remember certain someone also talking about never leaving.........but he did.

The only one who will rather die then leave is Slowdorf...unfortunately
This whole Milan reconstruction saga is all upside down

ouch in that case we just sold two fast nibble players who would go threw the middle or play behind the strikers, let face it is not likely that we will find and buy anyone similar to kaka and we will never get a deal for a player like gourcuff again. we have to change our style of play personally i prefer more pace upfront and a strong play maker able to create several assists also we do need to get another full back to add a extra impotence to the attack.

Exactly. We don't need a forward (though a backup for pato would be nice). More like players who do this from deep... Fullbacks and midfielders. Players like serginho and a young seedorf. Players like maicon, dani alves, evra. Iniesta, lampard (who may not be as graceful but equally as effecive).

Aquilani is a great name. I wanted him, if he can stay healthy he's 100% ideal! But realisically sneijder or van der vaart (who r on the market) and bale (who may be too young but he will be absolute class) or de silvestri

Fabregas? 35 million?

I mean, how can't the press feel sorry for us....even the devil must feel bad for us at this point

They are doing us a favour. They are keeping Milan's name up there with the other giants of Europe by linking us to these players.

i wonder if Giovinco would even be attainable? He is tiny but what we need... imagine giovinco and abate racing down opposite flanks... it might not win serie A this year but it will 1 day. He is a turin boy and a juve youth product...

Juve would never sell the heir to Del Piero to Milan. Never

he doesnt play, they treat him poorly and they seem hard for g.rossi and cassano.....

of course rossi says milan would be his number 1 choice, we have pato in his position. Honestly, i'd consider selling pato and buying rossi + dzeko... atleast they want to be in milan. Of course pato has more talent than both, and that could cost us biiiig time, and i'm starting to get a little too into fantasy football...

I don't believe the news as well......but in any case....why not 35mil!?? Alonso was sold for more or less the same number, so it is only realistic that Fabregas is worth that much.

That's if the 35 you mentioned was reffering that it is too little of a number. If you were refering that it is too much for us, then I'm with you.

i find it weird real madrid paid 35 milion euros for xabi alonso when they had gago.... yeah xabi alonso is better, but he's also 28.. and gago is 23. and i dont think the difference is that much + sneijder can play that role...

35 for xabi but they didnt value david villa for 35?

I think that's fair. Beckham's done well at Milan in his time here, but he's simply a stop gap solution rather than a proper well planned purchase.

I don't think VDV is good enough to take Dinho's place personally. There's been a lot of mention of dutch players lately and if I was to choose one right now then it'd be Van Persie for sure. He plays wide right and likes to cut in and having just turned 26 has a decent number of years to make a significant mark at Milan. He's not a goalscorer but scores a fair amount and provides plenty of assists. For me, he'd fit into our system much better than Dinho and we could effectively play the desired 4-3-3. The side could look something like this...

--------------Abbiati----------------
Zambro---Nesta----Thiago-----New FB
--------Rino------------Flamini-------
---------------Pirlo------------------
--Van Persie-------------------------
--------------------------Pato-------
---------------Hunter----------------

We'd have a much better balanced shape than we currently do and could genuinely make use of the wide areas. Pato whilst starting on the left would be desirable in a position similar to Sheva and Henry in the past where he cuts in to play as a striker, thus making use of his ability yet coming close to goal and supporting Huntelaar. With Flamini allowed to push forward, as well as the fullback coming forward, we'd still have the left side well used when attacking.

I know it's really nothing more than a dream to have him, but hey, people are hoping for Cesc after some rather dubious sounding rumours
