I would have traded in those derby victory for the league and CL any year.
But thats just me.
What you said is true, but i think you did not understand the true reason people talk about those victories. After having to accept the fact that team did not win the title, fans had to give themselves something to easy the pain. So they turn their attention to some good games to erase the painful memory of losing the title is all. If given the choice, i think every fan would trade in victories over Inter and Juve for the trophy.

I think we need to digest the fact that this maybe our team for 09/10 but neverthless since its Berlu who said that we have to be content with it, there could be an outside chance of another signing.

Overall i feel we havent done that bad in the summer mercato considering we found a nice replacement for Il capitano in the form of Silva and a much needed hitman in the hunter. Its true we could do with one or two more signings but lets face it.

Besides this team would have the urge to win as most of them havent won anything in the Milan shirt except for a few like Nesta, Rino, Pirlo,Ambro..etc but they always give their 100% when it comes to playing for Milan.

So i m hoping for a good season. Forza Milan

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inter just have agreed a fee with Real over Sneijder for just 15 million,****!

Now they have that creative force in midfield and oh boy what a force it is,they are now OFFICIALLY a complete team, they dont lack anything no more(according to their standards),15 million!!!!We could have snapped him up,really pissed.

Truth is this is Milan, not a mid table side. It is true that nomatter how good a team is, you can't expect them to win everything every year, but at the very least compete and challenge for something. If the end of the day, Milan came close from winning but still manage to beat all other top teams. Then it is something to cheer about. It is just sad to see Milan hanging on to derby victories as the few positive moments the past year.

Fiorentina are considering making an offer for Kaladze

Fiorentina are still looking for defenders to sign in the transfer market, and, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, their latest target is Milan's Kakha Kaladze

It is quite interesting to see that there are teams out there who want Kaladze.

And ?

Don't missunderstand me, I wanted him to come when I saw the news, but when the teeth problems appeared (for real or not, we don't know), I didn't complain like many did here.

Yes he did shut down CR7 last year for his third and fourth games in CL, but didn't Oddo also shut down CR7 when we won against Manchester in 2007 ?!

So before being totally disapointed by this player (and happy that he didn't come to Milan) or the contrary, I'll wait for 5-6 months. But so far, after 3 games with Lyon, for me, he didn't show anything special (against the Anderlecht team from yesterday that wasn't able to do more than 2 passes in a row for any reason, even Brocchi would have looked like a WC player and Jankulovski like the best LB of all times ).

A club is interested by Kaladze and you still want us to potentially cancel the deal by trying to get one of their best players ??

Let's try to sell him 8M if some clubs are really interested by him. Selling Kaladze probably means replacing him, except if Leonardo and our management consider that we would be ok with Nesta, Thiago Silva, Onyewu, Bonera and Favalli ...

Where do people think Van der Vaart will end up? It would be a great signing for us in my opinion ...

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
I say sell Kaladze to Fio for pretty much any price. 4m is the figure being mentioned, but with all due respect to him I'd be happy with less if it means he's off the books.

We may get De Silvestri then (not really top level), which would add surplus to requirements in FB positions, but some better quality is needed.

I know he still hasn't proved himself for more than half a season, but I guess if he is still rated highly by milan and juventus, he wouldn't be a bad option. even if it's a bit expensive.
Also, training side by side with zambrotta everyday wouldn't be too shabby either

Van Der Vaart looks so exciting a prospect for me. At the price which he can be got. I can just imagine him linking up with dinho and Pato for some beautiful football.

But of course................ First priority is still to get two decent, promising center backs...
