After the humiliation we suffered against Inter. Does anyone think with two days left of the mercato, maybe Galliani and Berlusconi think they should make two more signings?
I know, I know........I'm dreaming but........any slim chance of hope Galliani, Berlusconi and Braida could be working on something? Clearly we can't compete. Anyone? |

Hi All,
I was a milanmania member a few years ago but haven't been posting any comments for a long time becuase I was disappointed with Milan for the last three or four years. And today after watching us being humiliated by Inter my disappointment dropped to a new low and I would like to express my feeling here. I totally agreed with people asking Berlusconi to sell the club ASAP. As long as he is the president of this club we will never be able to get back to where we were. The day when he decided to sell Sheva to Chelsea, AC milan was no longer the same. We all thought the money that we get from selling Sheva will be reinvested in another world class player or a number of good players to replace the aging players but instead the management did nothing except buying some old farts to keep the fans quiet. We won the Champions League that year and in theory we should have money to at least buy a few good young players to rebuild the team but nothing (except for Pato). And this year they fxxxing sold Kaka to Real at the beginning of the transfer window for only 68M to balance the book (like they can't wait for the money to come in quicker), and had to beg Real to sell Hunter for cheap later on. They have no Fxxxing transfer plan at all. To me running a football club like AC milan is not a business but a hobby for rich man. A hobby that need high maintenance but in return it will give a lot of excitment to the fans and the the owner (it is like buing a luxury car you don't expect to make money from the car right?). If Berlusconi doesn't have the money now then he should give up the club and find another hobby. If all he cares is balancing the book or making profit then this is the wrong business. May be he should consider buying a brothel which will give a better return (that's what he enjoys anyway). What we are doing is not rebuilding but filling gaps with chewing gum. A true rebuilding should be like what Juventus did. They built a competitive squad in just two years. Although they didn't spend like crazy as Real does but they were willing to spend and spent wisely and at the same try out some youngsters like Giovinco. Unfortunately our situation will get even worse. I think our chance of getting into the top four this year is 50/50 and there is a good chance we might be eliminated in the group stage of the CL. The management will then say because of the high wages of some of our players we have to sell Pato for 50M to balance the book. And again next year there will be another Onyewu coming and may be a last minute signing of a 10M player. This will never end as long as the management focus on the bottom line rather than the results. (I don't believe it will get better when the financial crisis is over, becuase we were like this way before the financial crisis started). All I can hope for is Berlusconi retired from his Prime Minister position and decided to ignore his son/daughters comments and spent 150M for his hobby one last time. Or he decided to sell the club to a richer man which I think is very unlikely unless he pass away. All right enough whining. I have let my frustration out. Sorry for the long message. It's funny although the club is in such a bad situation but I still like to watch them play every week and hope miracle will happen one day. Forza Milan. |

Two more days, still hope for Hernanes, Vargas, Santacroce, VDV and whoever....
For real, if Milan is going to get someone, won't the selling team be jacking up the price after the 4-0 derby lost. Great way to save money while waiting for till the last minute. |

we are not even linked with any players at the moment i would be shocked if Milan goes out and buys a player before monday, the best we can hope for is a real attack in the winter transfer window because i can still bet that berlusconi still is hoping that milan can turn the situation around with the current squad. it hasn't yet dawned on berlusconi that the longer he refuses to invest in the club the more money it will cost him in the long run, the man is crazy rather than spending 60 million euros after the champions league win in 07 he decided that it would be better just to get pato and emerson and keep the likes of serginho cafu and co which ended up costing berlusconi 23 millions euros in 07/08 and 70 million euros in 08/09

A boat load of talent isnt going to help unless it comes in the shape of 4 players. If we are only to get one player then we need somebody ready to deliver!

Not to make things worse, but this year Germany are very close to overtaking Italy in the coefficient ranking.
That means that by the end of the season, Italy can, God forbid, lose their four berths for the Champions League. So, Milan may have to finish in the top 3 with this hapless squad. As for signings, with a day left, I am still praying, but . . . |

Look, not winning anything for two years is bad, I could even accept last season because of all the injuries, but having our best first 11 being completely outclasses by Inter the way they did yesterday is completly unacceptable, something needs to happen, and it needs to happen now, this can't be ignored any longer.

inter finally can make something in CL,they are playing well in high tempo now, 5 starter signing changed them so much.i expect a semi final from them. Milan's problem is not just wing backs(Anliyorum,Jankulovskinin ters kademe hatalarindan biktiniz,öyle savunmada saglam, ofansta cok iyi bir bek bulmakta zor.Rafinhada ters kademe hatalari yapiyor.Cissokho treni kacti.ama Jankulovski daha kötü,hantal ve ofansif olarakta bir sey yapmiyor, kolay calim yemeside artisi),Milan's biggest problem is midfield,Milan cant keep the possesion,Milan cant creat.Leo tries to invent something different, first lets accept Ronaldinho is not Kaka,as he plays so static, there are so much space between Ronaldinho and midfield trio.Milan has to be more compact, then Leo invented something, plays Flamini and Gattuso very different but they cant. maybe they could aganist Siena but vs inter, its a dream. What Milan needs is 1 box to box midfielder, who can do everything, complete midfielder,1 or 2 players like this.Defensively solid, offensively can decide a game, can keep the ball, creative, quick, can press.Flamini and Gattuso is not this typee of midfielder,Milan needs midfielders who can make the difference. -------------Pirlo--------------- ----Gattuso----------Flamini---- -------------------------------- -------------------------------- -------------------------------- --------------Ronaldinho-------- ------Borriello--------Pato------ PS:Sorry for speaking in Turkish,i dont know what ters kademe means in English.it seems you are Turkish and thought you can understand it. |
