In the last few hours Inter have joined the race to land Lazio striker Goran Pandev and are now favourite to secure his services.

According to reports in Italy the Nerazzurri have been targeting him for a long while although Marco Branca and Jose Mourinho preferred to keep it quiet.

Now with the transfer deadline coming close they have decided to come out and offer the out of favour Macedonian a contract.

Inter could send Ricardo Quaresma to the Olimpico in exchange in order to sign Pandev.

Genoa are also interested but have rejected an offer from Lazio President Claudio Lotito, who wanted to swap his forward for Rossoblu defender Salvatore Bocchetti.

Enrico Preziosi then contacted Lotito wanting to negotiate a part exchange deal for Pandev involving Hernan Crespo. The Laziali are not interested in that though since they already have Julio Cruz to bolster their attack.

Bayern Munich, Fiorentina and Lyon are also following the negotiations closely and could try to hijack the transfer.

That's how every great team works. They've won 4 titles in a row, they're the strongest in Italy at the moment and they want to buy new players because Mourinho sees some weak spots. That's how our management should think 3 or 4 years ago, but all they kept saying was "We're champions of Europe, we're champions of the world". And how we're an average team.

Hopefully with all the youth players we've signed, we'll win the Primavera this year and get some interesting players for the senior team in 2-3 years.

Dida , Kaladze , Gattuso , Inzaghi , Seedorf , Nesta , Zambrotta , Jankulovski , Favalli , Pirlo , Ambrosini , Roma , Oddo , Abbiati. This is how many players 30 and over and I mean over we have . Added to that Dinho who will be 30 in March thats 15 players out of a 27 man squad and of the squad only Pato , Huntelaar , Flamini , Silva , Abate ? look any good am I the only person that thinks we need to be buying 10 - 15 + players within the next 3 years . This might sound dramatic but its a fact we have more deadweight than Juve , Inter , Roma , Madrid , Barca and the top 4 english teams put together.

Something has to change as much as the scum MGT says its okay don't worry they know this team is a bag of steaming crap. I am grateful for the money Berlu has pumped in and the success the money has brought its time to go. He added alot to Milan but Milan is not Berlusconi just as much as it is not Kaka. It was around before he was born and will be around long after he passes on.

The worst thing that happened in this mockery is that us (fans) started to talk about "the debt"....it's like some of us have their lives depended on it.
It's not our problem.....all major clubs work in that way and nobody is suddenly going to kick all those clubs out of competition.

Fiorentina just signed Savio from the bundas liga

Indeed we will mostly get free transfers and loan deals. Then again maybe Silvio will sell the club which he would probably make more money off of than he can ever take from the club. Then again who would buy the club maybe a guy from the middle east , maybe a super rich Italian who actually loves Milan anybody know of anyone. But the investment needed at this stage to be on a par with Europes elite is not something that silvio will do and thats his choice but the club is not called AC Berlusconi its AC MILAN so I really really hope that he uses his head and sells up or spends wisely.

Nobody on here or any other forum or any Milan fan in the world was asking or thinking spend 200 million. What would of been perfect was pay off 40 million of the debt and spend 40 million. That money would of been good enough to get Huntelaar , Cissokho , Hernanes and De Silvestri that would of been awesome.

This sounds like it should belong in the fantasy signings thread. How much does that show how much of an FN joke our MGT has become. Those are not fantasy signings those are realistic should happen signings .
